Sears Optical

I agree with the previous reviewer. This place is a gem in terms of service but special shout out to Dr. Baldwin and staff, they are very nice and service-​oriented. Dr. Baldwin is patient and accommodating. She listens to your concerns and needs. I really appreciate what she did for me when I came to consult with her as my progressives were just not working for me. I would have given the entire Sears optical five stars but I thought they need more selections for frames.
Oh…also a five star shout out to Jodi as well!

After searching a number of local stores for one that would take my employer’s eyeglasses plan, I gave Sears a shot. I was pleasantly surprised… here was a store within a store, within a mall, and yet the service was very personal. This was a sharp contrast to the local franchise chains where you get handed from person to person.
The selection is pretty good and well organized. I ended up with a set of Ray-​Ban sunglasses and a generic pair of reading glasses that look similar to my main ones. They upgraded the plastic nose pads on my reading glasses to silicone — no charge. I also noticed they put some extra time in measurement and then again in fitting.
Also they worked with my plan and their 2-​for-​1 deal to make sure I got a good deal. How often can you say that? Usually the 2-​for-​1 is a classic bait and switch where you feel like you got ripped off as you leave the store.
I’ll go back for sure, 5 stars for service and also for the «hidden gem» factor. If you’re headed there park at the far south entrance and you’ll be close to the escalator and the store is right there at the top.

Jody and Denise, the staff at Sears Optical was so great helping my mom, boyfriend and I get our glasses. They are super friendly and give honest advice on the how the frames look on you. You dont feel rushed or like they are trying to «sell» you rims on you car. We are all excited to go back and pick them up. The prices are great too with the current promotion. Thank you!
