Wienerschnitzel

My company used to have offices in the Arden Arcade area and we had a Wienerschnitzel down the street that I frequented. Sadly the office moved a few years back and I haven’t been back to a Wienerschnitzel since. The little lady and I stopped in after viewing the awful movie «Norm of the North» and were surprised how crowded the dining room was. My daughter ordered the mustard and kraut dog and I went with the all beef chili cheese dog. We split a small fry. As a kid my dad and I would frequent Wienerschnitzel and I always loved it. Still do. I recommend upgrading to the all beef dog as it has much more flavor than the original. I enjoy their chili as it does have a little spice and doesn’t overwhelm the dog. Plenty of shredded cheddar was applied and the pillowy steamed bun perfectly cradled. A simple dog that was executed well. The fries were lukewarm and lacked salt and were a dissapointment. Hopefully, it is not so long until my next visit to this legendary chain.

My fiancé wanted to stop here tonight so we went through the drive through. There was no one in front of us but we still had to wait about 10 minutes after we ordered. The staff was not friendly and didn’t even apologize for the wait. She opened the window said heres your food rudely and that was all. Wont be back

We went through the drive thru this evening and half of the items we ordered were wrong. Melissa was very unprofessional and kept cutting us off when we tried to order every item. when my husband went inside to have the wrong items made correctly, Melissa told the guy on table to just scrape off what shouldn’t be there and add what was missing. My husband asked for the food to be completely re-​made and the burger was thrown away. Melissa then yelled at the guy who threw it away and said that it could have been made into something else and re-​sold. We will NEVER again patron any wienerschitzel. The food quality is so poor and bland. It also took 15 minuets for wrong items to be re-​made. Pretty sad when you spend over $ 20.00 for food and then it isn’t even edible.

What can I say… its a weinershnitzel. If you want a hot dog in a pinch, go here. Nothing flashy, but decent food.
Went here today with a complicated order… the woman with the glasses (who has been a great cashier for like ever it seems) was patient, and got the order correct.
The only reason I write a review for a fast food place is either good or bad customer service… and this one is great. I hope her manager and/​or franchisee of this one reads this, and shares the praise in some way.
Some little puke sack spilled his soda and hot dog all over the floor (hey other father, maybe handing a 2 year old a medium soda cup and hot dog isn’t the brightest idea, but whatever), and she smiled and cleaned it up.
Been to this one probably about 6 or 7 times in the past 5 years, and the same woman is always there… and provides great customer service skills.
Yay cashier… yay Weinershnitzel… yay bastardization of German sausages. Yum!

Meh… I thought I’d try out this fast food place after numerous pieces of junk mail that include tons of coupons. I love coupons, but even with coupons I don’t see myself going out of my way to eat here.
It’s hard to describe this place — it’s like trying to describe cardboard — it’s brown and hard. The food was okay. The corn dogs were ok and the milkshake was ok, but when I looked at the receipt I was in shock. I know that everything is getting more expensive, but for the price and quality of the food I was underwhelmed.
Will I try again? Maybe, but probably not in the near future.

They need help, they should hire someone right away. Lady is talking to us and someone in the drive thru at the same time. Really rude I think.

I love their chili dogs! No one comes close and they have great service. Good prices and you can get ice cream as well! Stop by take some to the movies.

Went through the drive thru. Ordered 5 hot dogs on a stick, a chili dog and some fries. Waited for about 10 minutes for the food to be done. A bit annoyed with the long wait.

Have eaten here many many times. Never any problems. Love a good hot dog. Ha ha.

Pretty average for a wienerdog. Dining area is good sized and well lit. Food overall is decent and the crew is pretty capable. I just gave up, however, on the all-​beef dogs. Every time I get one it tastes like it sat on the grill for way too long… It’s leathery hide cracked and chewy… Just… Yuck!
The regular chili dogs and deluxe dogs are the bomb, though… chili fries, too…
