Thissss… is my go-​to teriyaki place when I’m craving, well, something with teriyaki! I go to this place often for lunch from school. There is something about the sauce that keeps hooking me up to this resto. Also, they serve brown rice instead of white rice if you like, not like the other high-​rated teriyaki place nearby where you only have a choice of white rice. I can see how they cook my food, but it doesn’t really matter. I like how I can decide on the amount of sauce I want on my food (really, there’s something about the sauce! You gotta try!). In front of you, by the counter, the big container of their mystery sauce!
The people who work their are very friendly, if you wish to tweak your plate a little bit, just ask them! They will gladly do it for you!

Good food at a great price! The chicken bento box is tasty and is only $ 6.20. Only about 5 – 10 mins waiting time and it is cooked to order. A nice little place to grab a tasty and cheap meal.

I love this place! I have been coming here for 15+ years. I have tried most of the menu and it’s all good, but I always go back to the chicken. The service isn’t always overly cheerful, but they are friendly and quick.

Amazing service I have been coming here for over 10 years, I travel well over an hour when I order from them and food always flavorful. Everyone that works there is always kind and extremely quick! I highly recommend experiencing their food!!! Thank you for always being my 5 star food place.

They need to clean their nasty kitchen, the need to learn some actual customers service and they really need clean their nasty kitchen. I noticed when I walled in that they has a sticker for inspection on their hood and it was almost a year behind. Everything we ordered tasted greasy.
Not impressed with this place anymore, I’ve been going for years and never got great service but the food was always pretty good. Looks like I need to find another place to get Teryaki. I don’t eat at places with dirty kitchens.

The shrimp tempura is delicious — I don’t know what it is about it, but YUM! I always order the salmon teriyaki bowl and ask them to add broccoli (I’m a creature of habit) and it is always delicious. My bf always gets the chicken teriyaki and is always pleased. We get our order to-​go, this place isn’t big on ambiance, but the food is delicious!

Every person I take here comes back many times over because the food is so good. My favorite is a chicken noodle bowl and I only get chichen, broccoli and mushrooms. Have tried to replicate this bowl at other teriyaki places and nothing compares. Something about how they grill the chicken, so delicious.

Good food for the price and the service seems nice. I believe they make their own teriyaki sauce. They have green onion on request to add to your teriyaki chicken. Glad I found this place.

I’ve been coming here for many years and haven’t been disappointed — ever! I’ve tried the chicken, beef and salmon bowls. Awesome is the best I can say. Going to try the potstickers tonight. I love potstickers, sooooo I Joe they’re as good as everything else I’ve eaten here. The sign on the back wall says «since 1994». That sounds about right. Pale yellow walls, help yourself soda — wait, they got new chairs and tables!!! Simple in design, functional. The food is tasty, filling and fresh. I’m satisfied.

I have been coming to this place for 10 plus years and I’ve literally only ordered one thing. The Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl keeps me coming back again and again. I get it with extra sauce and sesame seeds. Keep it simple. You can’t go wrong.

Didn’t like it at all. I got the chicken teriyaki with rice, the chicken was flavorless with a hint of burnt flavor from the grill. Husband got the pork teriyaki which was super dry, without flavor. If it wasn’t for the mediocre tasting sauce that goes on top of meat and rice, I would ask for my money back. Oh and the salad had Italian dressing for some reason. I can make a much better chicken teriyaki at home with plain teriyaki sauce sautéed with chicken thighs. Not coming back here.

How do I begin?! This place is ahhhmazzing, it’s addicting. I can’t help but find myself here at least once a week if not more. I usually have a chicken or tofu bento box or chicken or tofu salad. For the price the quality is great! Made fresh after you order! The miso soup is also good especially for those who are vegetarians because it’s made with vegetable broth. Highly recommend to give it a try!

Always come here to cure my teriyaki cravings. In and out within seven minutes for my to go order with my freshly grilled chicken. Good portions for about six dollars. The people taking your order aren’t much for talking and chit chatting since there is a language barrier, but they will get your food to you just how you like it!

A great family run business. The foid is cooked fresh to order right in front of you. The best noodles. Good for what ails you. Yummy delicious. I like the bento box chicken but often have the noodle bowls. No frills just really nice people and good fresh food.

I got a chicken noodle bowl. The chicken was about 3⁄16 inch thick, dry, and slightly freezer burnt. The flavor of the sauce was not bad. I liked that it was not overly sweet.
My dining partner had the chicken teriyaki bento box. I question if the rice was instant or just very cheap, and the dressing was Italian (?)… we wanted asian flavors… not Italian… lol
I don’t think I would return… I did not notice the place being filthy, and I did look, as I was concerned, based on another review. I would not say it was sparkling clean, but not dirty either… pretty standard.

I am so sad that I hadn’t discovered this place and their salmon rice bowl sooner, after three years living in Citrus Heights. I’m about to move to another area so it sucks that I might not have a Teriyaki To Go a few blocks from home anymore.
I usually go to their Roseville branch until I saw this pop up on Unilocal.I was beyond excited. As usual, my salmon rice bowl was perfect.
This store lets you decide how many scoops of teriyaki sauce and sesame seeds you want before packing your order into a plastic to-​go bag. The other store usually puts in a bit too much teriyaki sauce but they do put the orders in paper bags instead.
