I grew up with this chain and, if I recall, it was simply called«31 Flavors.» We had one within walking distance of our house. Their name has morphed to Baskin-Robbins over the years, which has been a successful transition. I generally don’t go into ice cream shops if in the U.S., but I have definitely purchased gelato when I’ve been in Italy. With all the walking you do there, you work off the gelato, so why wouldn’t you? That said, a family friend got me to go into this Clackamas Baskin-Robbins while running another errand in that center with Safeway and Rite Aid. I knew this Baskin-Robbins had been there for a long time. Their ice cream is good. There is no doubt about that. You probably ought to sample a flavor or two if its name or your memory aren’t working for you at that moment. They will let you. Here’s the deal — I learned that, on the 31st day of each month, they will sell each scoop of ice cream for $ 1.31, probably harkening back to their«31 Flavors» legacy. So mark your calendars: January 31 March 31 May 31 July 31 August 31 October 31 December 31 That makes for a «lucky» 7. I was in there last night, on a blustering Halloween evening. I tend not to go over to the sherbet section, but stay near the vats of chocolate. I had a scoop of «Rocky Road» and a scoop of «Peanut Butter and Chocolate.» It was a good cup of ice cream for $ 2.62. Yes, I did tip, but I didn’t keel over. This Baskin-Robbins is clean, cozy, and bright. Their ice cream has withstood the test of time. Their staff on hand is always polite. Note that, being the suburban area that it is, there will be kids … and SUVs in the parking lot. If you are a Clackameister or a Clackamette with rug rats, «dew drop inn» … or «do drop in.»

Really good ice cream. Any kind of size and any kind of flavor. And really good prices. Dependently the best ice cream I ever had. Better then in any store!!!

We came in around 9:30 for ice cream and received great service. The door was held open for other customers and for us. I couldn’t find my flavor in the case and asked if they still had it. A new container was opened and I able to get 2 cones and a upgraded waffle cone too. Thanks for going the extra mile for us on 9−24−14.

Tonight around 8pm, my daughter and I came here for a treat! We noticed that the employee, a blond female, was working alone. There were three guys getting their orders and then we were next. Shortly after we came in, a young teen couple came in as well. The employee knew we were next but asked the teen couple if they were next and they said yes. I was rather taken back by this! I did not say anything as I did not want to cause a scene. However, as they left I mentioned that we were actually there first and the employee did not say anything at all! Not a sorry, or even acknowledge the fact that she made a mistake. I know this is petty but I believe in good customer service! My daughter and I eventually got our scoops by a very unhappy employee! By the way young lady, nobody forced you to work at BR! I won’t be back for a long while!

Really good stuff, plenty of verity of flavors and a endless combination of choices. Some of the ice cream that is melted on the top tastes icy which i really don’t like.

Baskin Robbins is one of the better places to get ice cream. They have a decent amount of flavors to choose from; my favorite being peanut butter chocolate. The daquiri ice is also delicious if a sherbert is the desired choice. They also do a variety of milkshakes, sundaes and ice cream cakes. The staff is friendly here and the place is always clean.

After dinner at Sushiland, the girls and I decided to stop in for dessert at Baskin-Robbins. Because it was well after 9:30 we were a little hesitant if they were still open or not, and to our surprise they are open until 10! After discovering gelato and self serve frozen yogurt, I have to admit it’s been quite a few years since I’ve been into a B-R. Having a craving for something light, I decided on the pink grapefruit sorbet which was good, but didn’t have that refreshing tartness that I was looking for and could taste the lack of fresh grapefruit. Two of the gals had a chocolate blast which was delicious… very rich and creamy. My other friend was sucked into the colorful non-dairy ice cream and chose the rainbow sherbert. Overall our experience was ok. The gal behind the counter was friendly and patient with our orders and it’s nice to know there’s a B-R close to my house where I can sneak out for an ice cream run later at night!
