I haven’t had an eye exam in about 5 years and wanted to get a full exam and new glasses. I was very rushed the entire time I was there. The whole exam and process of picking out new frames took less than 20 minutes. The doctor did not listen to my problems with my vision and argued with me about what I could and could not see. And they tried to up sell me on everything that I did not need. I would not recommend them if you want to feel comfortable and like you’re being taken care of properly.

Went in today and asked the 2 ladies at the front desk if they accept VSP. They said«yep» and carried on talking with each other. I wanted to purchase a frame for sunglasses and asked if I could look around. I’m in the business(have worked retail as well as in an optical lab, which I do now) and I even worked at this place a number of years ago. I browsed for a good 15 minutes without having either one of the 2 get up and ask if I had questions or if I wanted to try on any of their locked up frames. After getting no service at all, I walked out. Very unfriendly.

I’ve been going there a few years now and they are not cool. I just went because it’s convenient. They upsell you on stuff and if you don’t buy from them or get the more expensive options they are kind of over you. I don’t need to spend 400 bucks on daily wear contacts thank you. I just switched to Northwest Eye Care professionals today and got a second opinion on my prescription. NW Eye Care are so much better about looking closely at your needs and specific vision problems and they do not try to tack on expenses like a 90 dollar contact fitting fee or 45 bucks for optic pics you don’t need to do like Sunnyside did. Most importantly Sunnyside missed something key with my vision and prescription. Thankfully I got the second opinion. So in conclusion, Go somewhere else.

I have a 10 year old daughter who is a gymnast. She has been wearing glasses since the age of 3. Being a gymnast, it was hard for her to continue to wear her glasses during practice. After an eye injury, I searched many places willing to do contacts for a child. Most places told me that I had to wait another couple years(12yrs-16yrs old)… and then my husband decided to call this place. He had purchased a pair of prescription glasses from here a couple years prior. The ladies here are amazing and so sweet. Long story short, my ten year old is a contact wearer now. And is very happy. They are very professional and really showed her how to take care of her eyes and contacts. Never any waiting, not even for the boxes of contacts that we ordered. We are all very happy customers and will continue to use them for any of my families vision needs.

Dont waste your money at this place. Services are way over priced, lenses and eyeglasses way over priced. And dont back their eyewear. We spent a fortune but both my husand and i had issues with our glasses and we are basically just out $ 1400. Asked for our prescription to go elsewhere and they want to charge for part of it after we already paid an outrageous amount on the appointment. Save your $$ go somewhere with better prices and baxks their products.

I’ve been seen within five minutes or so each time I’ve had an appointment here, but what keeps me coming back is how friendly the doctors are. They explain what they’re looking at or for as they go, and they seem to be willing to do everything within their power to make sure you’re happy. During my last visit, the doctor cheerfully agreed to email me the pictures she’d taken of the inside of my eye. Going to the eye doctor can be dull, but you’re bound to learn something new here, and you might even have some fun!
