This restaurant, located in the back section of an old Victorian house rehabbed into a home furnishings/​gift store, is one of our two favorite places to eat in Clare. An ever-​changing menu of interesting sandwiches and soups utilizing fresh ingredients, decadent baked goods, in a cozy, bright atmosphere with friendly service. In the summer you can also enjoy outdoor dining in their pleasant, nicely landscaped patio area. If you’re traveling through Clare, venture a block away from the main drag and enjoy a great meal here! It’s really several notches above the usual small-​town eating experience. (Note: They serve breakfast and lunch only.)

Great tea and pie, two of my favorite things!
Lots of wonderful sandwiches and fun shopping. Make sure you check out the sale tables. The owners are very friendly and helpful. This is a must stop every time we visit Clare.
