College Escrow Inc

We are at the end of our umpteenth escrow thru College Escrow — I don’t know why I haven’t written a review for them before. It occurred to me to do so now ’cause I just left a review for my Real Estate Agent, Geoff Hammil re a property he recently sold for my mom — and College Escrow was the escrow company — naturally. They did an amazing job of making that escrow way less scary for my 94 year old mom, who was selling her Claremont home of 35+ years. They did an escrow for a rental property we purchased 20 years ago, which is how we first met them. We used them again for the refinance of several properties, then we did a FSBO as the buyers on another property, and then a FSBO on a different property as the seller and have also used them for two 1031 tax exchange deals. The processes have all gone smoothly — I could not ask for better. Now we are in the process of another escrow — as the seller, and once again College Escrow is on top of everything. We highly recommend them!

I must say this is the most professional Escrow office I have ever dealt with. I wanted to get my keys before the Thanksgiving weekend, so we could move in. My loan had funded on Wednesday and the only way for me to get the key the same day was for me to go and have it recorded since I was the buyer. They made arrangements for me to go and who to talk too. They went above and beyond to help me. Even my Realtor said this Escrow Office was one of the best she has ever worked with.

I sold my house in Claremont last year and we used College Escrow because it was close to us. I don’t really know how to compare with any other escrow service, but I do have to say, they are very very good at what they do! My escrow closed on time and everything was done in a timely manner. Phone calls and emails are always returned and the escrow officer was nice and patient. My realtor said that he also used them in the past and always had a great experience. Will recommend!
