Had a great time at Shaw and Scott’s program this weekend. Such a valuable information and workshop!

I attended the Scott Yancey Real Estate seminar tonight. It was supposed to include a dinner but there was none, except tap water provided by the hotel. I arrived early at 5:45 pm and left at 9:50 pm when it finally ended.(The seminar was supposed to begin at 6 pm and duration 90 minutes.) We had to wait until all was over to receive the free digital camera and a resource DVD. I left exhausted and very hungry. Digital camera is more a toy(640×480 what?!) and if it works at all. It’s from China and probably worth maybe $ 1. Resource DVD is probably full of more sales pitch of their 3-day seminar that they sell for $ 3,000. How can anyone trust these people and give away hard-earned money to someone who doesn’t even fulfill what they said they will and pass out a toy as a valuable gift? It wasn’t unintentional to give out the cameras until the very end after they have hooked a few buyers. There was a 2nd portion of the seminar where another person was trying to sell how to invest in tax liens for $ 1,500 membership fee. All information was vague and hyped. One local guy who came to testify won’t even say how much he made last year. He said if he said it then people can deem it as a promise and he and the company doesn’t want to mislead anyone. Scott Yancey speaker said they have a 84% success rate. I highly doubt this but this is what he claimed at the seminar. Some people signed up and best of luck to them. I hope they will at least get their money back somehow. There is no refund…
