I am so sad this place closed down! It was my favorite in the area!

Inka Trails is no longer open at this location. Either they moved or went out of business

The seafood ceviche was very good without being too spicy and the seafood was very tasty. The lomo saltado was smaller in proportion to the one I had in Peru but it taste just the same and was big enough to fill me up. The fried fish with seafood topping was ok but I didn’t care for the cheese sauce personally. The lucuma ice cream was delicious and is something I missed from Peru. The Peruvian flan was denser than I expected but still tasted good. The service was very friendly and attentive but the restaurant wasn’t busy when I went.

I LOVE the food at this place. Best food there. There is a young man there with glasses… I’m assuming he is a waiter. Awesome customer service. Will be back!

The food was bland and extremely over priced. The soda was flat and/or watered-down. Service was just as bad. Asked for water after trying the soda and the server slammed down the water on the table! I would recommend saving your money and driving somewhere else!

My friends and I have come here three or four times, and we’ve usually ordered the tallarin verde or lomo soltado. I’ve taken my dad here a couple times for lunch, and it’s always been a pleasant experience. There are two other spots – one in Covina and another in Diamond Bar – that I’ve also tried, and I’m always drawn to this location because their tallarin verde is better. I have not had any customer service issues in all my visits. The ambiance is relaxed in a dimly lit dining area. The empanadas are pretty tasty as well. Because I live close by, I haven’t found a better restaurant. Until then, four stars!

I usually get the tallarin verde con bistek ampandao(pesto fettucine with a breaded flat steak). They do this dish the best of anywhere else that I have tried it. The flat steak is enormous. There is no way you will finish this. Leftovers are guaranteed. The service is not good. Someone needs to manage the dining area because there is no direction in the dining room. Inka trails is a bit pricey but worth it IMHO.

We arrived on a Saturday night around 9:10 pm. The restaurant closes at 10 pm. I get that the staff wants to go home; I worked in two major chain restaurants as a line cook in my twenties and remember chomping at the bit to get out early on Friday/Saturday nights. However, the customer should not feel rushed to get out as that’s just really poor form. After ordering appetizers, which came out in about five minutes, our dinner was served in less than ten minutes. There is fast service then there is holy crap can I finish what’s in my mouth before you set down another plate. At 9:45ish they literally shut off the light above us while actively sweeping the floor around us. The waitress was trying to take my date’s plate away as she still had a fork in her hand. I kid you not. The food itself was good but not great by any means. I’ve had Peruvian food before and this place was just good. Three and a half stars for the food one and a half stars for the service.

I came to have dinner for my cousins bday. I had the tallarin Verde. I wasn’t really digging it. Ive had tallarin Verde before at other places this dish wasn’t the best here. I gave it 4 stars for it’s great service and cleanliness.

I came here for my birthday, and the Lomo Saltado is quite tasty! The Empanadas are also quite good, but you will need to get at least 2 orders if you are with another person(quite small). Our server was excellent, and the décor was very Peruvian, I highly recommend!

have eaten here a few times, the food is ok, staff is very friendly. Its local and ive gone there at least 5 times so that says something, but i do think its somewhat lacking flavor compared to other peruvian places ive eaten at in the past.

My girlfriend only gets their Aji DeGallina and that is what I got as well. It was delicious. I only wish they gave you a bit more. The place inside is nothing like it looks on the outside. Outside it looks like a dive bar or something. But inside, it is dimly lit and beautiful. I like this place. This is her favorite place for this dish.

I had passed by this place for years but today I had a late lunch there. The food was excellent. I had the«beef stew» dish, something I wouldn’t normally order. The meat was so tender and I love the intense cilantro used in the sauce. Service was fast and friendly. I will definitely be back again.

I am an American and a very picky eater, my peruvian significant other wanted me to try this place because he is Peruvian and wanted me to get a taste of his culture. I came in open minded and my first thought was how beautiful and romantic the scenery inside the small restraunt was. We were seated in a corner of the dim room next to hundreds of bottles of wine. It was a very nice atmosphere. I tried the lomo Saltado and it was amazing! It was so flavorful and satisfying; my other favorite was the green sauce. I put it on the lomo and dipped the bread in it and could not get enough of it! After he took me there once I became addicted. I always choose to come here when we want a quiet nice dinner. Very good food

The food is usually pretty tasty. I love the fish and chicken beef soltana dishes. Make sure you get the green sauce and bread. The have specials from time to time. You can get a discount by using too.

This was a new dining experience for me. The décor was welcoming, though a bit dim for a business lunch. Service was excellent. The menu was unexpected. I hadn’t realized the menu would feature French fries and dishes with an Asian appearance. I must say the green sauce(made from a native herb) was delicious and more than enough reason for a return visit. I found the prices very reasonable and the food excellent.

It really is a OK. My friend had a deal to use here and we walked in around 6 pm but the place was not busy at all. We ordered the fried fish fillet and lomo saltado. The food was overall salty — a little too salty for my likings — and there was nothing special… basically, i have had better peruvian that cost a little less as well.

not the best Peruvian food i have ever had — overall everything is OK… the white bread was boring… and the aji sauce is just WAY too watered down! parking is tough but you could always park at the stater bros shopping center next door and walk over. service was OK, sangria is over-priced… meh!

Unfortunately, I did not taste a morsel of food here. The one-star was earned for the décor. The other 4 stars deducted for: –3 stars for the surly, sour-faced, rude«hostess» who turned away a 2-top from their empty dining room at 6pm because they were«fully booked» . Really? What time were those reservations for? The place was E M P T Y at 6pm. It wasn’t like we walked in at 7pm demanding a table. I really think she took a particular glee in turning us away. It was awkward, unprofessional, and I was embarrassed for her. Never, in all my years, have I been turned away so starkly, even at the swankiest, snootiest establishments in Beverly Hills, Europe, West Hollywood, NYC. Yes, the wait may have been longer than I wanted, or they may have accommodated us in a tiny table by the kitchen, whatever. But this was totally unwarranted and just plain rude. Lady, you are in Claremont, not Paris. I forgot to look if there was a bar area. If there was, I am even madder right now. –1 stars for the ree-dunk-u-lous parking lot. I’ve been wanting to try Peruvian food, but based on the other dismal reviews, I’ll find another place. Maybe it was a good thing we couldn’t be squeezed into their busy night. I wish them the best of luck.
