We traveled here from just over the border in VT out of a desire to experience something other than American food and Revolution Cantina’s reviews. This place didn’t disappoint. We ordered steak tacos and pork tacos and both were amazing. The marinade on the pork was so flavorful and you could taste the grill on the steak. In addition, they have an extensive margarita menu and don’t used bottled sour mix. My favorite was Lola’s revenge, a margarita with mint and jalepeno infused tequila. The staff was super friendly and our server was very attentive. The rustic ambiance was warm and comfy. Definitely worth the 45 minute drive from Okemo valley!

Revolution burrito was fantastic – best steak I’ve ever had, and plenty of it, along with guacamole, rice, and I forget what else. The salsa that came with the chips was good too – fresh cilantro. Good, quick service, and the waiter was able to answer questions about the menu. He checked on us several times but didn’t make us feel rushed. My husband’s chimichanga was good, but nothing that special. Atmosphere was nice, I loved the Mexican music that was fun and relaxed but not too loud or frantic like at some places. I was disappointed that there were no refried beans on the menu. The entrees came with rice and beans, which was just plain yellow rice with black beans on top, not much seasoning. I don’t get it – refried beans are pretty standard, they’re cheap and easy. Still, will be going back, though it was a bit pricey.

Authentic Mexican food! The food was excellent and portion sizes are great. If you’re coming in a pair, sharing one dish usually does it, especially with the endless chips and salsa. The San Diego burrito was very very good. Can’t go wrong here.

Great food and service! I had the Alegria bowl w/the added queso and pepper sauce and it was fantastic. My husband had the equally good mushroom dillas. I highly recommend this restaurant. Please note that there are several vegetarian-friendly options.

My husband and I are on our way to Hillsborough and cannot wait to eat there. This restaurant was recommended by a staff member of the Mexican café in Hillsborough, which is a hidden gem in and of itself.

In the middle of nowhere is an oasis of delicious food. Stop here for charming ambience and the most delextable Peruvian Lomo… nicely done.

I have now been here twice. The first time the service was okay. The food was okay. I had the tacos. Cooked decent, small to average portions. The second time I went I was barely in my seat when the server asked what I wanted to drink. No greetings. I said I needed a few minutes, and I got maybe 30 seconds. If the place was really busy. I would have understood the rush, but there were only 3 other tables of customers. It was still several hours before closing as well. So, I just ordered the same thing as last time. The tacos were again decent, but not great. They seem to be missing some seasoning. I would go again if I was in the area, was hungry, and wanted something quick, but better than fast food. Overall, just an average experience.

This place is a gem in a town full of fast food and rotten dives. The staff is super friendly and attentive. My service was excellent and thats a big deal. The drinks were out if this world. I got a Raspberry Margarita, fish tacos, a mushroom quesadilla, and a order if guacamole for the chips that come with the free salsa. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty. Was completely satisfied with this meal and the price was very fair. Will definitely be coming back

Super fresh food and amazing service. This is by far the best restaurant that I have been to in this area. The portions are huge and margaritas are wonderful. Well worth the trip.

Ok I’m from San Diego and have been spoiled with amazing Mexican food my whole life. Then I move to the middle of nowhere in NH and suddenly my Mexican food cravings are u satisfied by the awful local restaurants. Then I stop in here after an annoying day at the DMV and order a steak burrito. Praying for the best. What I got was a perfect presentation– an aluminum foil wrapped burrito on a plate with beans and rice. Now some people might think it’s weird to have food served to you in aluminum, but I love it because it keeps my burrito HOT and also serves as a net for all the juices that spill out. The tortilla of this burrito was cooked to perfection, not like those thick lifeless store bought types! The steak in this burrito was so tender I couldn’t believe it— the whole thing warmed my heart and I got one to take home to my husband I loved it so much. When I found out the owner is Cuban it didn’t surprise me, because I have always found that Cuban restaurants have a special way of tenderizing meat– so the collaborative effort between Cuban/Mexican themes is pretty much heaven! Service was also great and the environment here was very cool. I will definitely be back…

Very pleased with the food and experience we had here! The décor is super cool and the place just has a really good vibe. They lost our Valentine’s Day reservation, but the owner apologized profusely for it, found us a table in under 5 minutes anyway, and offered us free drinks, which we thought sufficiently made up for the reservation oversight. I forget what we ordered, but I remember we really liked it! So cool to have a place like this in a town like Claremont.

You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! Moved from Texas 2 years ago and missed my Mexican/Spanish food. This place is wonderful and the margaritas are yum! The service is some of the best I’ve had in NH too. They won’t waste 1.5 hours of your time unless you want them to.

Amazing little restaurant in the heart of town. Great welcome, attentive service and delicious food. Complimentary chips and salsa were house made and fabulous. I had the cantina rice, which was staggeringly good! Draft beer was chilled and clear. Good ambience: music was hushed but discernible(an 80s mix); happy customers were seated in a spacious arrangement, with some outdoor tables available for those who enjoy people-watching in the town center. SO had tilapia and a margarita, which she really enjoyed. Would heartily recommend!

Pleasantly surprised, excellent food, good atmosphere, nice and clean, great service. My husband had the chimichanga and said it was the best one he’d had since leaving WA State We’ll definitely be returning customers, loved it.

This is my favorite restaurant in Claremont, and more — it is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. Certainly a surprise for small town New Hampshire. The food tastes like heaven: fresh, flavorful, spicy. About a quarter of their menu has their house special ghost pepper sauce in it, which is burning hot but so good. Unlike most places with really spicy food, heat isn’t their only trick. Their milder burritos are just packed with flavor and subtle spices(their fresh salsa is really just preposterously good, and they use it liberally.) The bartenders know their stuff, and I haven’t yet managed to refuse a Caipirinha or Margarita… usually both, one after the other.

The Revolution Burrito is very good, I fully recommend it. I went a few days ago and I ordered the«Lechón Asado» and it wasn’t great. The pork was too sweet, the«maduros» wasn’t fully cooked and the rice looked like the Goya rice you buy in a box in the supermarket.

Have been coming here since they opened. The service and food are still great! The addition of the outside seating in the back is great. Still think it the best place in town for Sunday brunch, keep it up!

Festive atmosphere with salsa music to match the great taste of Cuban — Mexican fare. Portions are very good, but save room for the fried ice cream! The chimichanga is delicious… tried the chicken, next time though will try the beef. If you’re looking for something out of the usual fare of a small town, you won’t be disappointed! Our server Josh was great and offered insights that were very helpful. I’d give it 5 stars, but some of the food plated was not as warm as it should have been.

Having been to the many restaurants in the the Claremont area, I would highly recommend this restaurant. I came here for lunch, the service was extraordinary; friendly staff and the food came out fairly quick. If you’re looking for an authentic Mexican food fix in the area, you will not be disappointed. Disclaimer: if you’re trying the ghost pepper sauce for the first time, get it on the side because the level of spiciness is definitely a surprise.
