Came here with a groupon for two pizzas and drinks. I opted for a margherita pizza and a green phantom. I had no idea the pizzas were made on tortilla! I thought that was pretty cool! Really curious what sauces they use. My friend got a different pizza and she said her sauce tasted like chili. The green phantom was very good, but I couldn’t taste any apple flavor. My friend’s juice had pineapple but the pineapple tasted from a can, and not fresh at all. Might have been full of sugar. I hope they’re honest about how healthy their products are.

I’ve been here twice now and have not been disappointed! To be fair, I’ve always ordered online to save time so I can’t comment on the actual wait time.
My order has consisted of an eggplant pizza and PB chocolate chip cookie. The eggplant pizza is made on a spinach tortilla so don’t expect that dough delicious crust, but more of a really thin crust pizza. However, you won’t miss that crust when you get all the flavor that encompasses this pizza. The second go-​around I asked for it extra spicy and the dudes made it perfectly. They threw on some jalapenos and chipotle. It was DELICIOUS. I can’t soberly finish a whole pizza which is a good thing. For $ 7 it’s a good deal for two people. If you’re like me and like hot foods, ask for it spicy!

Only qualm: just because things are fresh and individually healthy, doesn’t mean it’s low-​calorie. I easily estimate one of those pizzas to be at least 600‑1000 calories.

Found this place after I had a stroke wish I knew about it before cause this place satisfied all my cravings sweets pizza! But healthy way!

Only downside is that it’s always busy … joking there’s no downside food is great the people are even better. And the quirky art seems to go perfect. The acai bowls are the best I’ve ever had and the patio is just the right touch for dining al fresco. Here’s a tip order online and have it waiting for you.

Perfect spot for lunch after hiking Potato Mountajn nearby! It’s pretty popular but they are very quick with orders, order at the register and they’ll bring your food to you

The spot is a pretty small café with limited seating inside but lots of tables outside which was perfect for this mild sunny day!

I live in Downtown LA but work in Pomona. The Spot really the best option for a snack or lunch in the area. Tons of healthy food, juices, smoothies etc. My favorites are the Healthiest Smoothie, Bahn Mi sandwich and the lettuce wraps.
They also have a mobile app if you want to order ahead. A++

It’s my first time here and I ordered the ham and cheese panini. The sandwich was delicious, perfectly cheesy and the bread was toasted to the right crunch. One of the best panini I’ve had in a while. Definitely gonna come back again. My family members ordered bowls, which they said were delicious as well. Everthing here appears to be geard towards the health conscious group. They also specialize in healthy drinks and smoothies.

Such a great place, especially for college students! They have a wide variety, from pizzas to paninis to sandwiches to acai bowls. Great prices ranging from 5 – 10 dollars. We had the hot italian sandwich, the tomato basil panini, and the soy what acai bowl. On the acai bowl you get two toppings, so we added honey and peanut butter. FYI the peanut butter is just a blob plopped on top, it’s not blended into the mix. After we ordered we waited about 8 – 10 minutes for all the food. Very quick considering they were semi busy.
Will definitely return to try more menu items.

This place is so hit or miss. Sometimes (generally on weekends) I can be in and out with a few smoothies, juice etc in about 15 mins, and they are really busy. This morning, I walked in with my son, and there were 3 visible employees working. No one acknowledged us, and we waited for a bit over 5 mins for any of them to even look at the line, which was then about 6 people long. Still nothing, just kept doing what they were doing. I ordered a large decaf coffee and a caramel frappé for my son. The frappé was done pretty quickly, but was really watered down and nothing to be impressed about. Then we waited. Apparently the only person who knows how to do pour over was the same person who does cash register. All in all, we were in the store for about 30 mins. The coffee was ok, but nothing spectacular.
I really want to give places like this my business, but morning time is often so rushed. Likely I won’t be heading back here for a while. Which really bums me out, as it is close and has really great potential.

I really like this spot because it has healthy and fair trade and organic options. I am pretty much obsessed with the pitaya power smoothie which tastes like peanut butter and jelly! The cons are its a little cramped and loud. But otherwise just an amazing place to go and fun for a lunch date.

Really nice little café with lots of vegetarian and vegan options. The staff is super helpful and attentive. If you are lost they will give you lots of good recommendations to guide you.
We tried the orange carrot ginger juice. It wasn’t too sweet and had the right mix of orange and carrot. We also tried the beet juice mix. It was sweeter than the orange juice and tasted really good, but make sure you don’t have anywhere to go after because the juice can stain your teeth.
We ordered two pizzas. The margherita pizza was nice and light, the eggplant hummus pizza was definitely heartier and was a nice Mediterranean-​esque delight.
Will definitely be returning for the awesome service and food.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would! Truly excellent customer service (I think it was Peter)! It was my first time there and there were quite a few options in every area — food, juice, cookies. It took us a few minutes to make some decisions and everyone was friendly & helpful. We had the cilantro chicken salad — the actual salad & a wrap. Then we had a new juice they had just started making. That was pretty terrific as well. I checked in on Unilocal for a free cookie (and got a few extra). The cookies were really delicious. Yummy & soft with a buttery taste! I will most definitely return as often as I can! I would love to try lots of other things on the menu. They have an app that I downloaded and they’re also on the major social media platforms. Nicely done The Spot Café!

Came in for the first time my friend used my Unilocal account to place an order for pick up
he ordered a soy what strawberry bowl and i ordered a cesear salad
When i went to go pick up the order unfortunately they forgot to give the order to the kitchen so i did have to wait, but the lady at the front was super nice and made sure the order was taken care of right away. my buddy said he really enjoyed his strawberry bowl and the salad was just as good, i will definitely be coming back here again.

Definitely 5 Stars.

After our hike we decided to check this place out for the first time, so glad we did :) This small little indoor & outdoor seating café hit the spot ;)
Even though it was a bit crowded, the service was Great and fast. The staff was so friendly, helpful and cool. Our order was up pretty fast so we didnt have to wait long. Parking here is super easy as its in a big plaza.

The Kale and Acai Bowls are delicious. I recommend trying the Pizza on at least one visit. The drinks are fresh which is also a plus and they Have Gluten Free choices on the Menu

PB & A Acai Bowl — 110% recommend!
We got it topped with strawberry and kiwi (+ granola that all acai bowls come with).
The peanut butter gave the acai bowl a great body; it was more solid, like ice cream or frozen yogurt, but it didn’t melt (a slow eater’s nemesis). The saltiness of the PB was offset by the sweet apple juice to create a perfect balance. Each flavor was present, yet neither one overpowered the others. I seriously could not stop eating spoonful after spoonful of this acai bowl.
There is very limited seating, so this space is not optimal for parties greater than four looking to dine-​in.

This is a must for fresh juices, sandwiches, and pizzas!
Highly recommend their «The Hulk» or the «Grizzly Bear»! Every time I come here after a working out, or with the family we well taken care of by the guys! Shout out to John,

I am sad that some reviewers decide to get personal and bash employees in such a mean– spirited way. I read it and still don“t get what actually ‘happened’.
The Spot is a great place and I have always received friendly, courteous service and a stellar product, whether its a smoothie, juice or a healthy lunch.
Their juice has on at least one occassion saved my life, after eating one too many office lunches and way too many holiday cookies…
I support small, individually owned businesses whenever I can. Its so refreshing to be able to go to a place not owned by a huge conglomerate.

want to have a healthier meal? then «the spot» is the right «spot» (pun intended). they have a huge menu selection. varies from smoothies, sandwiches, acai bowls, juices, etc.
ordered:
*tuti fruti acai bowl-​first off, this was the first time that i’ve ever tried an acai bowl so i have nothing to compare it to. it tasted like a frozen smoothie with fruits on top. so can’t say i hated it and i can’t say i loved it. however, i am willing to try other acai bowls to see the difference.
*tuna sandwich– one of the worst tuna sandwich i’ve had honestly. i think my husbands homemade ones tastes way better. i really wanted to like it too.
staff are really nice and friendly. items come out at a very reasonable pace especially during the lunch time rush. would i come back? yes to try a smoothie next time. would i recommend the spot? only if you’re a health freak and/​or trying to diet. other than that, i still have to find something that i really would like in order to recommend it to others. therefore the spot is a-​ok for now.

I got the hulk smoothie which consisted of spinach, peanut butter, whey, granola, and yogurt. Tasted like an average smoothie anyone could make at home, nothing special. Price was $ 6.50 for a regular. A little pricey for my taste.
I’d prefer to go to either nature’s juice or Jamba juice or even just make something at home. It’s not like the presentation of the juice was exemplary or anything either… they were just given in clear plastic cups. The only perk was a free cookie with a check in. The cashier was really nice and even gave us two free cookies since they ran out of some of the other flavors. But other than that, I guess this place is A-​ok.
