My family and I came here with the in-laws on 1÷30÷16 for the first time. We were visiting from Virginia where it’s hard to find good chicken wings and my wife wanted buffalo(as in made in buffalo) pizza. The place didn’t look special on the outside, but looked really great on the inside. It was clearly an old place, but the wood and décor inside looked rustic in a great way. It was nice seeing their big wood fired oven behind the bar from the dining area. Out waitress was fantastic and was very accommodating with our group that included my toddler twins. She was pregnant herself and had two young kids of her own already and clearly knew the little things to help keep my kids happy. Although the kids didn’t enjoy coloring with crayons much at all, they very much liked the little dough balls they were given to play with(my all pizza places don’t do this I haven’t a clue). We ordered their party special — a sheet pizza with 50 wings. We got the wings half mild, half medium, and pepperoni and mushroom on the pizza. The wings were cooked very well, but we couldn’t taste a difference between the mild and medium buffalo sauce. The pizza was tasty(with a very sweet sauce) and overall was pretty good. We saw other food people got and everything looked great, especially the pizzas from the wood fire oven(we’ll have to get that next time). All in all, this was a very good choice for the day. The food was good, the service great, the inside nice, and the customers and staff were all friendly.

A lazy New years day watching a Netflix Mini series. Who wants to cook? I ran up and grabbed a brick oven pizza and lasagna. Their lasagna as just so so nothing special. The brick oven pizza was very good. I think it would of been even better to have eaten it right there in the restaurant. Had a gift certificate and one complaint would be on a $ 30 gift certificate the girl checking me tells me she cant give me change. Makes no sense to me! The gift cert buyer paid $ 30 for it if my total is $ 25 why cant I have the $ 5 back. Oh well.

Have visited this restaurant close to our home several times with my 2 year old, has always been accommodating, quick and good. Decided to take her on a Friday night at 5:30… apparently that is the«IN» time to dine in Clarence — it was packed with both young children/families and older couples and groups. Were seated quickly and then waited a solid 15 minutes before seeing ANY waitress. Toddler growing hungrier, I was tempted to leave. Laura N. saved the day, taking our drink orders and even bringing us bread. She got our food out quickly, and of course it was delicious(chicken fingers, easy enough, but their fries are super). As an aside — the bread she brought out was warm and absolutely wonderful

Came here for dinner with family a few weeks ago for the first time and really enjoyed it, have already been back a few times since. Great pasta dinners, pizza and wings, antipasto salads and so much more. Really nice atmosphere, very friendly staff, never disappointed with anything we have tried so far. Be aware… huge portions! Love that they are open a little later than many other restaurants in the area.

Terrible customer service. We went for ice cream at the adjoining ice cream place and were 3 minutes past closing time. The woman at the register said repeatedly, «no. No. No. No. Absolutely not. We are SO closed.» The previous evening, the service was so bad that it took an hour to get served after ordering a plain cheese pizza. No, thanks. We won’t go there again.

This family owned establishment is amazing. The food and the service is always great and I have yet to try their pizza, but it’s more than that. I ordered a bloody mary, and after a minute or two they informed me that they were out of bloody Mary mix, but they would run out to get more right away, and it would only be a few minutes. I would have been fine ordering something else, but they were so kind, and in less than ten minutes, they brought me my drink, which was not only perfect, but they said there would be no charge. I don’t usually write reviews, but I wanted to express my gratitude and appreciation for going above and beyond. Patti

If you like your brick oven pizza cold, try this place. Ugh. Underwhelming. They forgot to put our order in, same with another table near us, rushed it, and served it pretty much cold on top.

My wife and I were visiting the area and wanted a Friday fish fry dinner. The battered fish was excellent, but the garlic fish was even better. The cocktails were generous and the prices for the food and drinks were great. We will return here next time we’re in the area.

A solid«meh» for pizza. I thought the thin crust wood fired one was better, my husband preferred the regular one. But neither of us thought this pizza was amazing. I guess I prefer my sauce«sweet» because the sauce they use here is just plain tomato paste. The wings were pretty alright too, nothing to blow my mind with. The kids meal we got for our toddler did impress him though, so some stars for winning over an 18 month old! We got him grilled cheese and it tastes like garlic bread with cheese and the kid was down with it. Last time I got take out from them though they totally messed up his meal. His sandwich was burned, I asked for fries with it and they have us chips and it’s supposed to come with milk but got none. So lesson learned, check your take out before you get home.

My wife and I love driving out to this brick oven pizza joint and bellying up to the bar. The pizza oven is right on the other side and in the cold winter months makes for a nice warm atmosphere. Their pizzas are very very good. Whether you get the brick oven or not I must say I really enjoy their pies. I only wish this place were closer as it is waaay down Main Street in Clarence. If you are in the area, however, I suggest you stop by. Their supreme pizza is very good as well as many of their brick oven selections. The last time we were there we tried the BBQ wings in the brick oven and we’re not disappointed. They were good size and their sauce was great along with the added smokiness.

Food is usually great, but their lunch pizza by the slice is spotty, especially since one of their managers left a while ago. I’ve had some slices where I just get up and leave after a single bite. But I’ve learned to go right at noon or not at all. As for service, some of the kids they have working there REALLY need an attitude adjustment. I get it. You’re working for minimum wage and that sucks, but you have a job. I just called to place an order for delivery. The weather is bad, I understand that. But I am half a mile away and she neglected to tell me until the END of the call that it would be an hour and a half wait for delivery. If she had told me that in the beginning like a professional, I would have canceled right there. But instead as soon as I very politely told her I would have to cancel as I would no longer be at work in an hour and a half, she hung up. But still charged my credit card. I’m assuming they’ll reissue that credit. At least, I sure as heck hope so. Or else I am permanently done.

Getting home late on a cold Buffalo night so we decided to pick up dinner to go. I opted for Mazia’s as we know they have good food and it was on my way home. I called 20 minutes ahead and placed my order. Chicken Parmesan with ziti and Lasagna — both entrees came with a nice size salad and fresh bread with butter. I arrived a few minutes early but when I walked up to the counter they had my food packaged up and ready for me to take home and enjoy. We were so hungry that I forgot to take any pics :( Both entrees were big portions. Their sauce is a good sweet red sauce and both dinners had plenty of cheese melted over the top. The ziti with my dish could have had a little more sauce I thought. Everything packaged up so tightly that everything stayed warm for the 10 min ride home and I had a few things to do before sitting down to eat but when I did the food was still pretty warm, no heating up necessary! The reason I didn’t give this a 5 star is that their customer service isn’t always the best. The girls they have answering the phones and the hostesses are not very friendly to their customers, I wish they would improve that. Other than that everything is great here and we will be back!

There is a maze in the back garden for Genies. Basically if you are a genie, you can go in the back and wander aimlessly in the maze and see if you can find your way out of it. Newest edit: Raising back to a 2 because(a) they’re family owned and(b) received a message from Paul(who must work here or own it) who seemed very defensive, but was also fairly respectful and I appreciate that so an extra star from me. Messed up my order, but kindly gave me my money back. I’ve never been impressed by the food. I came for St. Patty’s Day Corned Beef thing, they didn’t give me what I asked for, but they were super nice about giving me my money back when it emerged that they did not have what I paid for. Originally I gave this a 3⁄5 despite their nice customer service. Edit Update: Update: I recently got a bunch of pizza and wings from here for people at my house, their choice, not mine. It was surprisingly good, the stuffed pepper pizza was excellent and the wings were nice and saucy and really good. I’ll improve it to a 4 for now and maybe update it further in the future. And their customer service is pretty good. Final Update: I’ve lowered the star rating because I’d been hearing some very horrible rumours about this place(and Mazia’s) for a long time, and I found out now that they are true. It involves the way Mazia’s has been interacting with several other restaurants in the area… I don’t want to go into it since it has nothing to do with the quality of food or service, but suffice to say they will never get my patronage again.

Mazia’s had been on the top of my list, but over the past several months, it’s slipped. I gave it a chance over the course of months and visits. Service has been hit or miss, with more miss than hit. Ditto for the food, salads are soggy and full of white(not green) lettuce with unripe tomatoes, pizza fell to so so. The servers are well intended, but not real focused. And for crying out loud, stop having the bartender damp wash the placemats and then stack them wet. They reek. Not sure where the management problem is here, but it’s time for an employee group pep talk and team huddle to bring this place back up to snuff.

Great place. I love the wine racks and the fire pit for wood fire pizza. Very relaxed cozy atmosphere. We had a variety of dishes. 4 cheese steak pizza was good, I only wish the crust was thicker. Pasta dishes great! They came with nice thick slices of homemade bread! Points for that! It reminded me of bread like grandma used to make! I’ll certainly be back. Stop on in, only real knit picking critics would stick their noses up to this place!

I love Mazia’s –I come here with my family and friends on a regular basis. I’ve never been disappointed with a pizza I’ve ordered. The best so far is the chicken finger pizza. The crust is thin, the chicken is flavored mildly spicy and there’s always plenty to go around! I also almost always order the chef salad. Though made entirely with ice berg lettuce, it is always fresh and green, laden with tomatoes, cucumbers, croutons and shredded carrots. The seating is very casual and family-friendly, though if you’re looking for a casual date place, sit up at the granite-top bar and sip on a glass of wine!

HOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHOT!!! THISPLACEWASSOHOT!!! It must have been the flat stone oven they have to cook pizzas on but the day I went here it was about 50 degrees outside and maybe 100 in here. I ordered the«famous» rancho burger as a plzza place, I know make your remarks here … I ordered a burger at a pizza place oh well. it was wonderful. I was confused as was every guest that entered the place as to if it is an order at the counter and then sit or a wait to be seated kind of place.(PLEASERESOLVETHISPOTENITALEMPLOYEESTHATMAYREADTHIS) The food took quite a while to prepare however once it arrived I was quite pleased(besides how hot it was in here) the fries were home made and the burger was wonderful. I dont know if i would go as far as calling it famous but it sure was good and I would order it again. Next time I will try that flat oven pizza as that looked and smelled really good. *****On another note you know what else I noticed? When someone comes to pick up the pizza they always open the pizza box and show them the pizza to make sure they like it before they ring them out. I thought that was really cool.*******
