Solid mostly takeout and delivery place run by very nice people. Online ordering reduces the chance of errors and the woman handling phone orders is careful. Many soup + entrée lunch specials are under $ 6. Very extensive menu. Not the most exotic flavors, but did not taste oily and vegetables were crisp.

We love this place. Cindy and her husband are great. We eat here quit a bit and although it has appeared a little dingy, they are fixing the place up to look nice and to accomodate more eat-​in customers. They make a lot of dishes that are not on the menu and can do lots of great things with Tofu. It’s definately worth a try!

Despite being an area with multiple options for take-​out and delivery, this place is my go-​to. The food is good, the portions are generous, but what keeps me going back is the service. Everyone is kind and welcoming, and the woman who takes orders over the phone always remembers what you get if you’re a regular. Fantastic place with great service.

This place is pretty bad. I know that most Chinese take out places are not known for their cleanliness, but this place was skeevie and dingy. The people running the place were nice, but the food was below average NJ takeout, and that’s not saying much. I can not recommend this place at all.

I wonder why there is only 1 other review. Phoenix makes great Chinese meals and the staff is friendly and the one woman remembers what you like if you go there regularly. I recommend that you give them a try the next time you want Chinese food.
There is parking in the back of the strip mall with a rear entrance for pick-​ups.

Cranford, NJ
I recently moved to Cranford and we’re currently without a kitchen. Hence the need for some cheap and good lunches and Phoenix definitely delivers. Their lunch specials come with soup or egg roll, as well as rice. The portions are generous and the food is good. It’s not greasy and the vegetables and meat are fresh. I recommend getting the hot and sour soup. It’s probably the best I’ve ever had. Also, the service there is very friendly and they get your order right, always a plus.
