Nacoochee Valley Motel

We stayed here due to the fact there was nothing available in Alpine Helen because of Oktoberfest going on. The room we stayed in was very clean and smelled like a cedar closet. Everything looked brand new. It reminded me of staying in a log cabin, It has all the amenities that you would want with a chain hotel, like a refrigerator, microwave, coffee, Keurig, toiletries, and plenty of towels, in addition to very comfy beds! This place is very quiet and away from the street, so you don’t have to hear all the noise from the very little traffic on route 17 right above the motel. Hickory Stump BBQ is next door, so that’s an awesome place you can walk to and get great food, and if you need anything else, there is a new Dollar General right up the street. I suggest anyone who loves the great outdoors stay here for the perfect mountain getaway experience.
