Best freshest sandwich I’ve ever had. Turkey, prov, tom, lettuce and mayo on rye. The veggies are super fresh and crisp the turkey is stacked high and delicious. The cheese is thick cut stacked and super tasty. The bread though… ooohhhhhhhhhhhh man. Freshly made in house, best rye bread I’ve ever had. I wish there was one in Scranton so I could go more often!!!

Everything we tried was delicious. Great, friendly staff. Everything was super-fresh. Not only do they have fresh breads and home-made flavored butters(garlic, etc.), but they also serve various sandwiches and soups. We’re going to get a scone to take with us.

A-MAZING! So fresh and delicious! Everything served is made fresh in house. I had a chicken curry sandwich. OMG it was the most flavorful sandwich I’ve ever had! I also ordered a bowl of cream of broccoli soup. It too was so fresh and tasty. I’m visiting from South Florida. I wish we had one of these there. I might have to stop here everyday for lunch during my visit!

I stopped in to meet some friends for lunch and was presently surprised at how delicious everything was. Even something simple like the oil and vinegar topping tasted great. I grabbed some kind of dessert on the way out(Nutella something) and it was super tasty too! I had the turkey and cheese sandwich and soup.

Wonderful young people offering the greatest fresh breads and rolls you can find in this area. We are always on the lookout for an excuse to serve their products. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

I was driving through the area and wanted to find something for lunch. I was in for a treat when I decided to stop by Beta Bread Bakery. I ordered a turkey sandwich on sesame bread and it was absolutely delicious. When I had first walked in, a woman who was just leaving the bakery stopped me to rave about the sandwich she had just eaten. I had thought she was a bit crazy at the time – thinking«no way the bread is actually that good!» Then I took my first bite and I completely understood what she had been talking about! The ingredients were very fresh, the bread was AMAZING, and the price was incredibly reasonable(about $ 6 for a good size sandwich). The only side option was a bag of chips, but I really didn’t find that I needed anything more than the sandwich. The staff was incredibly friendly, as well. It was a simple place, but a wonderful find! So glad that I found it!

Excellent breads with a bonus, now that they’ve added lunch to their selection of great breads… all very fresh and very well prepared. The biggest difficulties may be selecting a single bread as they are all large, appealing and excellent… and the sometimes annoying metered parking in the midst of the narrow, trafficy, but sorta quaint(when the big trucks are sparse) Clarks Summit shopping strip… the first is funnn… the second usually tolerable but some days annoying. Can’t criticize Beta B for that as it is a good business spot… they are often busy. Lunch seating is available. Menu is modest featuring made to order sandwiches(of course on THE bread). We haven’t dined there yet but the busyness and quality of their other items implies soup and sandwich satisfaction. Counter service is good… owners/staff are enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Except for the parking, handicap/elderly access is good via sidewalk, but try to park on the store side of the road(actually a highway) as traffic is sometimes pretty busy. All in all, a must stop if only to get some real bread… even if passing through… maybe call ahead and get sandwiches for pickup to go. Our fav breads include olive loaf and dinner rolls, pecan raisin(!!), and Italian cheese… BUT they are all good. This place is the real deal!

This place is amaaaazing. Everything is fresh and tastes so good. Their sweets are different than anything you would find anywhere and the bread is to die for. They will slice the bread for you. You have to try the Philly quiche, I am not a fan of quiche usually but I have just become !!!

I am so grateful to have a place to go to buy fresh baked bread! They are also expanding into desserts, which are also amazing! The bread is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and fantastic every time. My favorite is the olive bread. They soak the olives in red wine vinegar, which gives it a unique taste. They are part of the farmer’s markets in the area and I always make sure I stop by and support them. They are very pleasant to their customers and they like to explain their process to me an educate me on the new and different things they are doing in their business. I love that!

The bread at Beta Bread is epic. I have been buying his bread since the place opened and it never disappoints. Everything is baked fresh daily. The sandwiches are good but the bread stands out. The kalamata Olive bread is just amazing. The standard sesame loaf beats anything you can buy at a grocery store. This bread will make the best grilled cheese or paninis ever. Give it a shot, you can’t go wrong.

Wonderful bakery with a very helpful staff. I live in CT but my family is located in NEPA so I travel there for holidays. This past Christmas I was responsible for bringing the bread to the celebration, so I thought I’d buy some rolls from a local bakery. I inquired in CT just because I thought that would be easier to have them before starting out on my trip home, and the place I went to quoted me $ 90 for 3 dozen rolls, including a 10% discount! I then called Beta Bakery in Clarks Summit, as it is in the way to my parent’s house. The owner was very helpful and put in a special order for my bread, which ended up costing $ 5 per dozen, a total of $ 15! The rolls I received were of extremely high quality and were a huge success at the party! I will definitely be going back to Beta Bakery!

Been a committed follower of this fantastic locally owned and operated business in the community since they first opened. Beta Bread Bakery took one thing and did it well… bread! Hands down this place allows their patrons to experience the absolute best freshly baked bread around. Don’t ask for cupcakes, cookies or pastries for they are surely not why you go here. Simple ingredients and a «made from scratch» philasophy make their sandwiches better than any other deli in NEPA. I never have a problem waiting five minutes for my meat and cheese to be sliced freshly and my sandwich to be made exactly as I ask. Consistency and a quality product at an incredibly reasonable price is what gets you«hooked» on this little gem of Clarks Summit!

The sandwiches are good but the bread they make here is what really makes Beta Bread stand out. It’s made fresh and is some of the best that I can remember. I tried the sesame for my sandwich and went home with a loaf of the kalamata olive and loved both. A great, well priced meal, skip Panera and go local!
