Stopped coming here because the food is just so aweful. At first we came because we were excited to finally have a Chinese food option close by. Ever since Red Bowl opened in Clarksburg Village we haven’t been back. So many examples of terrible food here. They definitely overkill on broccoli, sauces are not very well done in pretty much any dish. They have the worst hot and sour soup I’ve ever tasted, and I’ve tried a lot of hot and sour soup in my time. Please avoid this place and spend your money elsewhere.

We order delivery from here on a regular basis. The delivery is always quick and the food is on point. The delivery guy is always super friendly and seems to love every aspect of his job, which is refreshing to see. 5 stars

Great quality food. Good flavor, fresh and healthy process without use trans fat, that is a good point to made food in a healthier way. Good ingredients. Fast service.

In short, it’s a convenient Chinese take-out for me since I live so close to it. It also helps that their food is great! :) For the reviewers stating their food isn’t spicy, if you ask them for«very spicy,» that usually does the trick. Even though everything I’ve tried here so far is great, my top two favorites are Hunan chicken, and chicken with broccoli. Their lunch special is less than $ 6 and includes fried rice and soup– can’t beat that!

Pro’s: food was delicious, ready quickly, friendly service, convenient location, DELIVERS! Con’s: parking in this center sux in general, Hunan chicken was NOT spicy, prices felt kinda high, but the portion sizes are huge so I guess it all balances out

I’ve picked up here several times and was always pleased with the food and the friendly service. The food isn’t the best Chinese I’ve eaten but it is better than what I would expect from a delivery/take out. There prices are what I would expect and the only suggestion for improvement I would have for them is give more white rice with the orders.

Ordered delivery several times, always ask for condiments for our different foods aswell as requested forks etc. Never get it but they always GETTIPPEDWELL, THATDOESN’T SEEMTOHELP our meals have steadily gotten worse. The sesame chicken. Is so hard over cooked and nothing but batter, batter batter that u s swimming in sauce. Could find shrimp in the shrimp fried rice. And the Brown rice is white steam rice with soy sauce. On it to make hit brownish looking. Un-acceptable. But what should a. person expect from a Chinese restaurant in the outskirts in a distance suburban country side. Near a. County prison. Go to any place in the District of Columbia. Off K street. The delivery was quick and the food nice and hot! Only problem is food is bland and tasteless. I will not order from this place again. Was really disappointed.

This place went under new management I believe sometime in 2014. Service and food is much better than in the past. This is really a take out only kind of place. People working are very friendly. Food is good and large servings. We usually get several meals from our order.

Service is quick and food is what I expect from a fast food/takeout Chinese restaurant. The basic veggie and meat stirfries, fried chicken wings, and fried rice are my go to dishes here. It helps to know that this is not a Cantonese restaurant so I’m not expecting the Orange Beef or General Tao to be cooked in the same style. That said, I wouldn’t order Cantonese, Taiwanese, or Hunan dishes at China Spring preferring the specialty Chinese restaurants instead.

Great bang for the buck. Seems to be the only Chinese restaurant to deliver in Clarksburg

Have tried this place a few times to give them the benefit of the doubt. We usually get the kids sweet and sour chicken and every time they find a way too significantly over fry the chicken(see picture). I am sad to say that I will have to go a few miles out of my way to find better quality Chinese food.

Service: I only go here for takeout… as I’m sure is the case for many people. I’m not sure why this place got so many negative reviews… I have been treated with respect every time I have taken food home from here and I see no evidence of any foulplay or rudeness. I will say some of the staff faces a slight language barrier, but this is easily compensated by friendliness. Food: I normally order lo mein and orange chicken(i know… typical«americanized» order) and can’t complain. The chicken is nice and crispy and the rice is fresh and soft. Lo mein is a bit oily, but I’m not looking for the cleanest diet when I come to a carry out chinese place. Environment: The space is very small with a total of eight seats. This is definitely not a place meant for people to dine in at. Although the two benched tables are normally open in case anyone wants to try. The best thing in my opinion is that the kitchen can be see over the counter in its entirety, putting any health or hygienic concerns to rest. Keep up the good work China Spring!

It was open on Christmas and we were hungry. It as mediocre and bland. I won’t go there again. They grab the rice out of this giant cooker and it tasted like it.

I read some of the other reviews but I’m still always skeptical of what people say and want to try something out for myself. Although the people were extremely friendly, I still gave this place 1 star because I’m rating them solely on their food. For me, it’s very hard to find good Chinese food. I eat either Kung pao chicken or general tso’s chicken. I just moved to clarksburg and figured I’d give it a try. I asked the guy up front if the Kung pao had some spice to it and he assured me it did. When I received it, it smelled very good and was a big portion… Once I started eating though, the taste was so bland. I read in a review prior to mine about the Kung pao having no flavor and that was spot on. I literally ate 3 or 4 pieces and threw the rest out and went to Harris teeter to get a slice of pizza. It was really bad.

Hair Hair Hair thanks to the china springs, i got a complimentary hair in my chicken kung pao. I’m not a complainer, but this is the second time i’ve found hair in my food. food taste decent for its price, but can’t be trusted for its sanitary condition. please beware unless if you favor munching hairy Chinese food for dinner

I will never order from here again. I ordered Ho Fun for a pickup, and when I opened the box after I got home, I got a Lo Mein. I called them and let them know this happened, and they never said sorry. They just kept on saying I have to bring back the LoMein if I still want to have Ho fun. Plus, they wanted to charge $ 1 more because Ho fun is $ 1 more expensive than LoMein. So I checked my receipt and found out they charged me more than what I should have paid. On the menu, Ho Fun is $ 8.95, LoMein is $ 7.95. My receipt said«LoMein $ 8.95» –_– !! So make sure to check your receipt if you still decide to order from here. Don’t let them steal your money. When I got there with the LoMein, again, no one says sorry no one says anything. They just opened up the LoMein box to check the noodles. And says nothing until I walked out the door. very disappointed. The food: The beef Ho Fun hardly had a slice of beef. Total waste of my money + time + gas for such a low quality of food and service.

I work upstairs at the Clarksburg Medical Center and I have always ordered through their lunch special menu items. The best things to order are the triple delicacy and the sesame chicken! They come out to be $ 6.63 — $ 6.65 total which is a very good price. They also throw in a free spring roll!(maybe 2−3lbs of food for 6.63) Really worth the money spent! I love how they stopped the sushi(it was pretty good too). You’re going there for chinese food and chinese food is what you get! This is legit authentic chinese ffood that satisfies the stomach in every possible way. Ignore all the other reviews! ORDERTHETRIPLEDELICACY, No baby corn, no bocc choy(idk how to spell it), No carrots, and no snow peas. YOU’LLTHANKMELATER! I will back this place personally 100%… GOODFOODANDGOODSERVICE.
