Food here is awesome! My kids are the pickiest eaters my son is the pickiest and he housed the deluxe burger excellent job. My daughter is a picky vegetarian she got the Notcho mommas nachos and I tried them and I thought they were amazing. The pulled pork macaroni and cheese was great for the macaroni And cheese lovers. I had the bite size steak and though it wasn’t my favorite in town it was really good. My wife had the blackened chicken and it was so good it was really spicy, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We sat outside on a gorgeous day and it was a great experience. The food came out a little slow but we did order a lot of it. Overall a good experience with great food.

My wife and I tried the ribs. Very disappointed. Meaty, but they taste precooked in an oven, not completely BBQ’ed . They simply through lots of BBQ souce on top. The sauce was unique, blue berry. We will go back, but next time we will try the burgers. Harder to screw them up. We also had the crab/cheese appatizer. That was good.

Wife and I just got home from Roosters, had bacon cheese burger she had clam chowder. Never had a bad meal there, eat there 15 – 20 times a year. One of the best bloody marys in the valley.

Monday night: Not crowded. Quick and friendly service. Atmosphere is nice. A cross between a waterfront fish market style and Red Robin. Bacon Cheese Burger was excellent, bacon just right, bun was great, burger had that charbroiled smoky flavor! My wife loves their confetti salad. Fries and clam chowder were good. $ 25 are you kidding me! Wow! Great food, great price!

This review is about the front of house as I didn’t get a chance to sit and eat. The restaurant was busy, we check in and they tell us 15 minutes. 25 minutes later we ask what the expected wait time is still and we get a «we can’t tell you an exact time». What? Isn’t that your job? To estimate when a table might be available? You could tell me 15 minutes earlier. She could care less to look into it. We left after that. Maybe try again another night.

Went there for lunch today. We(spouse and I) had a buffalo chicken sandwich and a turkey croissant. The waitress was nice and attentive. Food times were a bit slow. Overall meal was a bit spendy, but not terrible. It is a good place to grab food, but not if you are in a hurry.

I joined Unilocal just to give this place a bad review. Negative stars!!! Over priced, lousy service, lousy food. Dinner for 4, $ 100.00 appetizers of side salad or clam chowder. A family that was seated after our drinks arrived got there apps and meal before we got our apps. We had to ask for ours. They arrived with our food. Any good server knows how to pace out the meal. When they arrive together you only get to enjoy some of it before both get cold. My cowboy burger and fries were cold on arrival, they forgot the fried onions. Another person in our group ordered no onions in her salad and got them anyways. Their fries are listed as refillable but you wont want to.

Grossly overpriced. Quality is definitely not proportional to the price of the food. Incredibly disappointing. Its unfortunate that this place insults the sensibility and tastes of the locals simply because there is just no other place to go in the LC Valley. That is never an acceptable excuse for overpriced, poor quality food. Save your money… Go to Wendy’s.

Giving this four stars because everyone else with me loved their food. I had a bit of a mixed experience. The good: the Hot Crab Cheese dip appetizer was really great. The kids menu is really cheap, and seemed pretty good. The clam chowder was good. The fried shrimp was also good, as were the Gouda mashed potatoes. Drinks were good, fries were good, and the restaurant atmosphere was pretty good too. We did not sit on the outside deck, but that would be awesome with those views. The not-so-good: all seems great so far. But, I was really disappointed in the hamburger. They have some really interesting burger creations, and I was excited to try my fajita burger. Unfortunately, it was a blackened, charred crispy mess. I really should have sent it back, but I’m very hesitant to do that sort of thing, and it was already getting too late with the kids. The other semi-complaint is that we did have to wait quite a while for our food. It was busy on a Saturday night, and we should have been there earlier with two hungry kids. So that’s the good and bad. Still got 4 stars because of how much most of the food was liked by everyone. Next time I will either be sticking with the crab dip, ordering something other than the burger, or making sure they know to take it easy on the burger(the steak at the table was quite pink).

Roosters is a fun place with a good menu. The service is very good in spite of the large number of people there. Its fast, prompt and efficient. I won’t go into details on the food we ordered but for a party of 10 everybody had what they wanted and it was good. we were staying at the trailer resort nearby and decided to come over to roosters at night time after graduation. it was well worth the visit, prices were reasonable and I highly recommend this restaurant and bar.

This restaurant is almost like the Idaho version of Joe’s Crab Shack. It is themed and decorated. However, because its in Idaho its a little more low key. Our large group was easily accommodate and the waitress was awesome. She brought us a ton of water without us pestering her and got all of our orders right. We even got fast delivery emergency french fries during the meal. Try the Hot Crab Cheese dip. Its amazing.

Food– Ok, Location– On the river with available outside seating, Good menu selection including beer selections. Our fries seemed stale and luke warm. Inside of restaurant was nice with many things to look at including plenty of fish tanks. Conclusion– We would go back if we were not very hungry and wanted a few drinks outside on the river.

Location: When it comes to a great location, Roosters Landing is right on the river front behind Walmart and next to Costco. Not only will you get a great view of the boats going back and forth, but often sitting on the deck provides the perfect environment to visit with friends and listen to music. Food: There is a large variety of food options ranging from seafood dishes to salads to hamburgers. For the smaller appetites, minnow options are available, which is great for healthy options. Vegetarian options are also offered. Although I am a huge fan of the fish tacos, which taste great, most food items do not give a wow factor for the price. I am often disappointed with the main meals, but the appetizers are very good. Drinks: The drink selection though overcomes the food quality! From local beer and wines to mixed drinks like the Gnarly Lemonade, there is a large variety to choose from to accompany the meal or to sit back and relax with. Sitting Area: I find the bar area the best place to sit as you don’t have to wait for a table and the TVs are in good positions. Service: The service can be slow, but the staff is always very friendly! Overall: Roosters Landing is a family favorite, but as the years go on I find that I am drawn to the environment of Roosters Landing more then the food. Roosters Landing would be perfect for that once in a while place when family locals come back into town or even when live music is being played on the deck. The drink selection is great, but the food is just ok.
