I am furious. I planned an amazing birthday party for my nephew at lancer lanes. It was highly recommended, so i went and booked a bowling/arcade party for today at 330. I asked the woman there if we were going to get the game room to set up in, she said yes. When i got there there was already a party going on in there. I got upset and asked what was going on, they asked the other party to share the room(which was ridiculous, their party was huge, i wasn’t going to make them move) so they put us in the dingy, darkly lit, old bar that has awkward sitting. I was very upset, but was going to make it work. We started out bowling and they made our pizzas waaay too early. By the time we were done bowling, they were cold. When i went to check out i asked if i was going to be compensated for being in that gross room. He pretty much smerked at me and said well its a public party room, there’s nothing we can do. Sorry, but the smerk infuriated me. He had some other guy come over and i had to explain the whole thing over to him. He said the same thing plus that we weren’t even supposed to be in that room. I wasn’t getting anywhere with either of them. He finally walks away after i Told him i didn’t like their attitudes, and i wOuld be writing a review and not coming back. He comes back and only charges me $ 100(which i wasn’t looking for that much of a discount) then he tosses the receipt down for me to sign and says«if we dont ever see you guys again, that’s fine»…wtf, really? I just left and im still fuming

No poker on Sunday nights, but lots of bowling. Not a lot of selection in the arcade, but they did have the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle(circa 1989) arcade game. Bodacious!

Visiting from Seattle, met friends and had a wonderful meal. Great appetizers and a versatile menu. Good prices too.

Lancer Lanes offers putt putt, bowling, arcade, a full bar with karaōke some nights, a sit down restaurant, and even a casino. The Bowling: decent. Some big tournaments here even. Reasonably well maintained lanes. The puttputt: needs work. I bet it was great 30 years ago. The arcade: Kinda small, but there’s some side-by-side games, as well as pool and air hockey. It’s a nice place for underagers to play. The bar: a bit run down, but cozy enough to hang out with some friends. The restaurant: better than average food, but I wouldn’t go much further than that. The casino: coolest people in Clarkston work here. It’s small but it’s a good place to make some friends. All the dealers will learn you by name. The people make this the best small town casino I’ve seen. Overall I’m a fan of the casino and the bowling alley. The rest is kinda there. Give your kids some quarters though and you can drink a beer in peace.

Does this place bring back memories! Despite its lack of state-of-the-art equipment, Lancer Lances provides a great bowling experience and fun environment. The staff is friendly and responds immediately to lane problems. Food and drinks are available from the center’s restaurant and bar/lounge and are reasonably priced. There is a video game room in the back, but it’s on the small side, so selection may not meet needs of all in the group. The billiard tables are a hit and seem to be in use at all times. The casino is also a popular feature, though not thing. The miniature golf was always a fun, entertaining time, but I haven’t played here for years, so can’s speak for its condition now. A peculiar feature of this place is the prom dress shop. What is a prom dress shop doing in a bowling alley? It was the joke of the night. All in all, this place is a great place for families and friends to find some fun.
