Good ribs, big portions of everything. Fried chicken salad was good but needed extra dressing because one little cup wasn’t enough. Unfortunately that’s all I got with my To Go order. Can’t suggest the Potato Skins. They definitely had an American cheese blend rather than cheddar or something else. Yuck. I just don’t like American cheese, it gave the skins a very bland, plastic taste.

Terrible food. Like Ruby Tuesday on crack. Servers young and self-centered. Parking blows, traffic in the area is not worth fighting to get here. I got an alleged sirloin and it tasted like a GFS frozen brined meat. Pass.

Perhaps I’m so excited to find another place to eat that my viewpoint is biased. Since I eat out every night it’s hard to find new places and I appreciate some culinary variety, as we all do I think. Many nights I’d driven by Cheddars telling myself«you don’t know the menu so it’s easier to go somewhere else.» Glad, I gave it a shot. I had the blacked tilapia and shrimp which was excellent –white flakey fish and tasted great(I had them leave off the mango sauce: gross?). But the reason I rate this restaurant so highly is the selection of sides. I was stunned when I heard the list. The list is so long one can’t remember(at least not with my memory) the beginning of the list by the time they get to end. It’s at least 20 sides — far more than most places. That’s important to someone trying to get more vegetables in their diet! For that reason, I love this place. Been back several times already in two weeks.

I took my father and grandmother here while I was in town. I haven’t been to this place in many years. Our waiter was insanely nice and polite. Food was good but the only major downside was the crazy experience when the food took forever to come out. I ordered the buffalo chicken tenders, and they were ice cold. So I asked our waiter to send them back to be reheated. What happened next was bizarre to say the least. He said he needs to bring a manager over. we wait 15 minutes… It wasn’t like I was asking for a refund, just my food reheated? Finally a kitchen manager comes over and apologizes and says they were make me new ones, really quick. Then they bring over the restaurant manager, 5 minutes later, lol. So now we have two managers over here, when I am not even complaining? I think the poor guy didn’t want to get in trouble, which wasn’t even his fault. He ended up bringing me 4 coke zeros and apologized 15 times. I hope they can improve the service, those quick chicken tenders took another 10 minutes. All in all everyone had a good time, so I can’t really complain.

Had this dinner for tonight and it was awesome! It’s a good price for the food you get. I get the buffalo chicken wrap consistently! My only problem is the fries are always cold!

We have visited Cheddars several times and it’s always a good restaurant to go to because they have a good variety and it’s good food at decent pricing For larger groups though we do carry out though, it just makes it less of a hassle, plus if you have more than six people you can’t sit together at the restaurant In the past it was difficult to get the bar tender to even answer to take your carry out order and then when you went to pick it up they were rushing to get it all together, almost never went over the order with you, and you almost always got home missing something Well that has all changed. We ordered carry out yesterday for 7 of us. I called up and Amanda answers, takes the order, reads it back to us and says it will be 20 minutes. So we head out and get there on time to find Amanda there with our order ready to go. She took everything out and even had the containers numbered so you know what order item it went with… This was epic! It was all good even down to having enough ranch dressing containers, etc. Give that girl a raise as she deserves it and is definitely a keeper Good job to Cheddars for improving their carry out process

So disappointed!!! My son and I typically love the chicken fingers at Cheddars! However when we visited on Tuesday, November 10; we were so disappointed. We arrived a little before 8, a young man was our server, we had very simple orders and ordered right away(salads, soup, chicken fingers); nothing that takes much time. I received my soup, which was part of the meal(I ordered the veggie plate, broccoli casserole, green beans, and soup), the rest of the meal and my families did not come out for another 30−40mins. Our server basically disappeared… We had no drinks, and when the food did come it was cold. My husband loves their salads, they come with a honey drizzled croissant, however he did not receive his croissant. The waiter said they were not ready yet and he would bring it out when ready. He then disappeared again. We waited again just to receive our bill, after we paid the waiter brought 3 croissants. This dinner for a side salad, soup, and chicken fingers, took an hour and a half! It was terrible! Service was the worst ever and no manager was in site!!!

I do a lot of carry out here for my wife. I’m not crazy about their carry out myself, but really like dining in. Really decent burgers, Phillies, chicken, onion rings, etc and it is surprisingly cheap. I’m not big on salads but they have a Hawaiian salad that is outstanding.

Went here after daughter’s graduation at Austin Peay. Busy and crowded but service was adequate and food was hot and prepared and served correctly. Server was friendly and efficient. As opposed to other reviewer, I had no problem getting take-home boxes for leftovers. Food tasted good. Loved the Chicken Fingers(tenders?) that my daughter had, and I’m originally from Buffalo, NY so I have high standards for those! I’d definitely recommend those. I wasn’t that hungry so had the potato soup(decent) and ½ club(decent). Nice to have a smaller menu offering for us older folks that aren’t real hungry.(I just turned 50 so I can be an older folk now, right?) My experience wasn’t spectacular nor horrid, it was good and as expected. Prices were standard, as expected. I’d feel confident going there again and would recommend for family gatherings.

Not great, but not terrible. This location has been here for a little bit, but the first I have ever been here was this past Monday. I got the Smokehouse burger and fries. It was good, definitely no complaints. It didn’t blow my mind or anything, and I’ve definitely had better burgers. Reasonably priced. I got the burger and a tall beer and it was like $ 12 – 13. i would go back.

I have taken my son for late lunch. Parking — too narrow. If you have a big SUV and a mini van parked next to each other, someone might dent your vehicle. Bathroom — I was coming from a hospital and went there to wash my hands before sat down. There were a piece of paper towel in the sink. I am not sure how often they clean it but that’s not good. Server — When I came back from bathroom, I asked my son if the waiter came by. Answer was no. And waited for a couple more minutes after that. Seating — — Needs a tall divider between the booth for two reasons. Whomever sat behind me’s arm touched me more than one occasion. That was annoying. And the family sat behind us was loud and annoying. Who wants to hear annoying little child or annoying loud adult for that matter? Divider is necessary to block a stranger from touching you and suppressing the noise. — The size of the booth is adequate, if they have a big family/a group which do not fit in the booth, they need to divide. Don’t they know that it was a code violation to put a chair on the walkway? Service — It was ok. Nothing extra ordinary. What bothered me was the waiter did not bring back the exact change. That’s like dishonest to me so I only tipped him $ 3.00. Food was not all that great. Spinach dip tasted like diluted defrosted spinach dip. Chicken and waffles were terrible. Someone forgot to put butter on it. Baked spaghetti, my son let me taste it and ummm too plain. And they did not offer any Parmesan cheese. Takeout box — don’t be stingy on the to go box. I had to bend over my chicken to fit them in a container. Price Cheap eats = too many little children = unpleasant and annoying dinning experience No, I will not go back there.

On a road trip heading to Florida and what a great place to stop. Excellent Service very clean and super waiter. I can’t to come back just so we can come back. Everything we ate was amazing and portions were large so make sure you are super hungry.

When in doubt, I always go to Cheddar’s. The Philly Cheesesteak is a plateful that makes you look like you don’t know how to get it in the shoot, so that’s a good choice. The Grilled Chicken and Pecan Salad is basically the size of the whole garden from which it came, so it’s good for when you’re hungry hungry but want to feel good about eating healthy. And a good alcoholic beverage on occasion isn’t always a bad thing. I think it’s called the Maui Margarita, but it’s a good choice for when you’re feeling celebratory. You walk out without a dent in your wallet and you’re satisfied with what you got. The atmosphere is comfortable and you see an abundance of families and couples enjoying their evening. Haven’t had a bad experience here so I recommend giving it a try on your next evening out on the town.

Reading the other reviews, Cheddar’s appears to be one of the most polarizing restaurants in the area. As it was with my lunch group. One guy really, really likes it and, after weeks of pleading, we acquiessed. Look, Cheddar’s is fine. My experience wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t memorable either. The food was OK. My club sandwich was a little oily, the fries were good and you got a sizable portion for a decent price. Service was decent. The environment was, well, it doesn’t know what it wants to be with tropical fans, Mediterranean arches, lots of brickwork and enough foliage to dress up a tiger exhibit. TVs are in most of the rooms, so if you want to be distracted from talking to those you’ve chosen to dine with, there’s your out. I’m not a fan. I will not be coming back anytime soon; not because it is bad, but because there are so many better spots.

Never disappointed with Cheddars! Large portions, great food, great service! We ordered the chicken fingers; it was plenty to share for two! The broccoli cheese casserole as a side was great. The spinach dip is my favorite from any restaurant. My only complaint about Cheddars is that there arent more around! Would love a Cheddars near us in Michigan!

I happen to love Cheddar’s. I hadn’t been in quite sometime and my family and I were looking for a cheapish dine in place last night and passed this place and stopped in. Their meals are very generous in size, fresh tasting and is very easy on your wallet. I have been to at least 3 different locations and they’ve all been consistent with each other. Our waitress last night seemed shy, but she was attentive and checked on us often.

Walked in at 120 pm with three and a child. Asked to sit near tv to watch the World Cup. The host said, ok I’ll need to bus a table if you want to wait.” We said we’d wait. 5 minutes later the table wasn’t bussed and we were still waiting. We asked what was up. She, one of the 6 people at the host stand, says«I asked someone to do it.!» She then walked around looking for a busser. There were 5 glasses! Why couldn’t she do it?! After another minute we told them we were leaving. The hostess says, «never mind, don’t clean it, they’re leaving.» I’m embarrassed for the management.

I have to say that I have enjoyed meals here but one visit left me not wanting to rush back anytime soon. I ordered grill chicken and it came out and it was cold and so the server said they would remake it — several minutes later they brought it out and it was the same ones I had and she said oh they made you a new meal and I look down and see the piece I had cut off she then walked away — didn’t ask how it was etc.

I can usually count on Cheddar’s. They food is good and they have something to please everyone. A variety of choices. Some of my favorites are the spinach dip, the asian shrimp salad, the Maui margarita, and the cookie monster. Put those together and that is one marvalous meal! Great for groups and for families. It is almost always crowded but I have never waited more than 10 minutes for a table. The staff is friendly and works hard. Two thumbs up!
