I swore I’d never come here again after many bad service and food, but this time my kids talked me into it. We had been moving new and old furniture around and all to tired to cook and was late so IHOP was it for getting something to eat. I had ordered the new poundcake french toast with raspberries and dark chocolate, OMG it was freaking out of this world, it should be labeled as a dessert not breakfast! what a amazing combination. Reason given it a A-OK review is because all the other bad experience I have had here, so few more trips to tell if things really have changed.

I don’t know if other Unilocalers have the same experience perspective that I have on the two Ihops. The original Ihop on Veterans Pkwy still has it hands down. Staff and service are still amazing! Cleanliness during rushes are still flockin on point. We had a new server. Adorable girl out of high school, tiny little pixie thing that flitted everywhere and no one wanted for anything!!! :p lol. It was a holiday brunch enjoyed by all, but Ihop made it that much more special with their kindness and great food! =) I hope you all find that this Ihop exceeds your expectations like it did ours! ;)

I hate leaving negative reviews but this was necessary My daughter and I were there at 715 am. And they were not busy The food was ok but not as good as expected. But the service was horrible. Our server took our order and we never saw her again Another server brought our food and that was it Her regulars were treated well as my empty glass sat on the edge of the table most of my meal Not even one of the other four servers asked if they could get me a refill We didn’t even get a ticket I had to go ask at the front The people were friendly enough but please don’t ignore customers

the service was terrible, our waitress waited 45 minutes before she came and told us she«lost» our ticket, despite the fact that she walked past us a million times… you would think she would notice that our food hadnt come yet. Then she did not try to make up for her mistake. we saw all of the servers hanging around the server station as time kept passing by with no food or drink refill. Then later we found out from her manager that the ticket wasnt lost the waitress just didnt ring it in, oh and we were her ONLYTABLE. I am not from indiana but ever since we got here we have experienced horrible food service, but ihop was by far the worst. I will give it one more try because the manager was so nice and fixed the situation, but not expecting too much of a difference.

The only pleasant experience here was that my brothers 23rd birthday party was being held here. My brothers girlfriend planned him it here for him for months, keeping it secret from him. We all are seated and quiet to yell surprise only for our waitress to ruin it us by when he arrived saying you must be the birthday boy. Mind you we let her in on itpm? N n n n n n n m nm 《9?? °night. We were there for a few hours. I’ve was there from 630pm til roughly 830ish. The whole time she just gave off the vibe like she rather just be elsewhere and that she hates her job. I wasn’t the only one to pick up on this as well. My brother did as well, even stating her«resting bitch face» was strong. I normally tip well for services but I was not about to tip for really h g

This place just simply isn’t good. I have a feeling most iHop restaurants are ran this way, so this probably speaks for most of them… My local iHop is horridly slow, the food is extremely greasy and cheap tasting, the food pretty much always comes out wrong and has to be taken back, and if by some miracle it doesn’t come out wrong a part of your meal was just never brought out, and the servers and staff are rude and usually reek of cigarette smoke. Beware, if the food is taken back it’ll just be smeared with a new topping or popped in the microwave, there is no hope of sending something back and getting a fresh meal in exchange. And I’m not kidding when I say they’re slow, it took an hour just to get French toast, hash browns and eggs a few nights ago… The whole experience is usually really unpleasant and there’s that immediate promise that you’re not going to come back, but its a promise that is nearly impossible to keep when 3:00am comes around and they’re one of three restaurants opened at that hour, none of which are better than the other. Just skip this place and all adjacent eateries and go across the bridge like you know you should and get a good meal and a few(more) cheap drinks. This place, for a lack of a better word, sucks.

As a longtime IHOP fan, this one leaves me stunned in a very negative way. Walking in, the bad smell greeted us instead of expected hostess, which never showed. The(we presume) manager gave us the tired smile and led us to the booth. We decided to overlook those minor infractions for the sake of the kids in tow and always kept promise of good food to come. Waitress showed within few minutes and took our drink order just to come see us 15 minutes later to apologize about not putting it in yet. 5 minutes later, we got our drinks served in mugs that looked like the chocolate milk was served around it and not in it, including in drinks that shouldn’t have any chocolate milk in it. Of course, they were served with few apologies and yet another excuse. Another drink was ordered at that time Food arrived 35 minutes later, hanging of the plates, without that drink(35 minutes for drink). The steak tips were undercooked, revealing cheep meat, too sweet sauteed mushrooms, oddly cut onions but very good hash browns. Nutella crepes were very good, which allowed me to set aside bad taste of the previous meal and post a balanced review. FYI, this is the first review I wrote but the beginning of this experience forced my hand

Wait time was long for lunch but that was only to be seated. Then the wait really began with slow to take order and then 30 min to get our simple breakfast items. Then there was a hair in my daughter’s eggs so they had to take it back and we finally said they could just give us her pancakes. They did adjust meal but if we did not have plenty of time to kill, they would have had to eat this meal themselves. When we did get our food it was room temp so it was sitting for a while. Would not recommend anyone ever come to this iHop.

Ridiculously slow service. Understaffed for spring break week, and no apologies for delay. Looking around at every table in vicinity and no one has food. Don’t bother with this place.

This is the normal IHOP experience, but add about 30 minutes to actually getting your food, which usually there is some mix up. Good for a lazy day when you have nothing to do. I would recommend WH instead…

This review is mostly based on the service, which left much to be desired. We came on a Saturday evening and were seated right away. But then no one came to our table, not even to take a drink order. We sat and waited, while a group of about four servers were standing around at a server station right by our table, chatting with each other. Not one of them ever looked our way. We waved over at them, even said«Excuse me» to try to get their attention, and we were totally ignored. Finally one of us actually got up and walked over to the group of servers and asked for service. They looked like deer caught in headlights. No one seemed to know who was assigned to our table. Finally, a waitress came to our table and she didn’t seem to think it was really her table to wait on, but at least we were finally able to order. We didn’t have to wait too long for our food, and the waitress even came once or twice to check on drink refills, so that was good. But then she just disappeared. We finished our food, and she never came with our check. We watched her go to other tables near us, and even tried to wave her down on several occasions, and she never looked at our table. After several attempts of trying to wave her down, and watching her go to the server station right by our table without looking at us, it started to feel like she was purposely ignoring us. Or did she just forget that she had our table? Finally we waved and«shouted» loud enough to ask for our check that she finally acknowledged us. I was checking my watch. From the time we finished eating until we finally got our check, TWENTYMINUTES had passed. The ironic thing was that as we were getting up to leave, a bus boy started clearing our table while we were still there. So while it took forever to flag down the waitress to give us our check, the bus boy couldn’t wait for us to leave before clearing the table. The food was fine. Between us, we had a mix of breakfast(omelets, pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon) and dinner(salad, dinner crepes) items. The portions were generous.

The food was good and got to our table fast. The service however was terrible there were maybe another 5 tables when we came in. As a waitress I understand that everyone has bad days. Pamela seemed like she was in a rush and was rude to the other tables she was serving as well, she told us to pay her at least 3 times before we were done with our meal. Will come back but will ask for any other server since everyone else seemed pretty nice.

As far as IHOP goes — I’m not sure you can really go wrong. The bar isn’t set too high in my opinion :) They have cheap food, relatively fast service, and basic menu. Although I am a big proponent of local and unique — sometimes convince and price get the best of me. We stopped off at this IHOP on our way out of town and filled up on eggs, bacon, and pancakes… I love pancakes. If given the choice and had the time I would much rather visit a local place. However, if you find yourself on Interstate 65 near Exit 5 — hungry and still on the road. Give this guy a chance!

We showed up and had to wait 20 minutes for a table, turned out to be more like 10! Which was great! I was expecting bad service because of how busy it was. They proved me wrong, it was fast, friendly and very delicious. We hurried and ate and left a big tip. Great stop for filling out hungry morning bellies!

Party of six came on Sunday morning and the hostess lost our place on the waiting list to be seated. So after being told 30 minutes and waiting 45, we asked the hostess whereupon she realized her mistake and seated us promptly. We ordered the Colorado omelet, white cheddar omelet melt, 2×2×2, French toast, fiesta choriza omelet, and bananas foster pancake(yes pancakes) The food tasted good. Our waiter was a bit overwhelmed due to the volume of customers but maintained a pleasant attitude and thus got the 20%. Overall, I would return but not on a Sunday.

Food and timing was great ! However the service was terrible from the start. Our server, Kendrick starting by telling us «not to be teenagers who don’t tip» first of all we are not teenagers. Secondly, we all work in restaurants. He rarely came back to refill our drinks, and took forever bring us our checks. We left a note.

Friendly server at five a.m. That’s always nice. The food is prepared, as if by robot because it exactly the same stuff you would get in Madison or Stockton or Orlando. Look, IHOP’s mission isn’t complicated and the good thing about IHOP in general and this one in particular is, it’s reliable and relatively reasonable. If you don’t have the time or will to search out some cooler, local thing at five a.m. at least you know what you’ll be getting. I had a great server who was friendly and attentive. The food was well prepared and for me, for IHOP at five a.m., that was more than enough.

We(my stepdad and I) stopped here on the way to Huntsville for breakfast. The food came fairly quickly seeing how the restaurant was packed. Everything was the way we ordered it. Our server courteous and timely with the refills. No problems or anything outstanding at this IHop.

I’ve been trying to watch my calories lately after noticing that all of my restaurant dining was starting to catch up to me. The last place I expected to find a wide variety of low calorie options was Ihop, but their Simple & Fit menu is not only under 500 calories, it is delicious. In fact, Sunday morning I enjoyed their Simple & Fit Two x Two x Two option which is two buttermilk pancakes, two pieces of turkey bacon, and two egg scramblers for just 400 calories. I have to admit that I was nervous about trying the egg substitute but I couldn’t taste any difference between it and my usual scrambled eggs. I fully intend to go back and try the Simple & Fit turkey bacon omlet and several of the other Simple & Fit options as well. Kudos to Ihop for making it possible to have a delicious brunch out without breaking the calorie bank.
