Ok, call me crazy but something has changed at this restaurant. I absolutely hated going here. My daughter had to drag me here because I have only had horrible experiences here. The hostess wasn’t great but she say us in a section by the bar with the most phenomenal server. I believe her name was Ronele and she treated us like we were at Ruth’s Chris. The food was everything I had come to expect from an Ocharleys. It was good and presented well. I am now happy about returning to this Ocharleys and hope they keep up the good work

Can’t tell you how the food is, was sat and nobody came to take our order. Left after 10 mins and they were not even busy.

Silverware was dirty. Not a very clean place at all. There was an odor in the place. Sorry we didn’t check reviews first for this place. I had salmon my husband steak. That tasted ok and was cooked to order. The rice was so so and potatoes has little flavor.

I struggle giving this place even one star. The service is horrible. The food is below par for the price. We’ve been here now about three times and each time we’ve been disappointed to say the least. We decided to give it one more try and yet again-disappointed. The waitstaff seem preoccupied and are very slow to take orders, refill drinks, etc. needless to say, we won’t be back.

Never ever again. 6 months ago we walked in, not busy at all. No one at the door, no manager in site. 15 minutes. The only guests looked ticked. I would love to say this was an uncommon experience because once upon a time about ten years ago, I used to come here frequently during lunch, but it is not. Went back the first time last weekend and it could have easily been the exact same situation. Another Saturday, same time frame, around 2pm, and it was empty. We vote with our feet and left. We are going to start keeping a book of places in Clarksville to NOT visit or recommend, or maybe in this case, to send others in and see if the same thing happens to them. Either way, this location for O’Charley’s is going to be at the top of it. Bad service, bad attention to details, bad management. The servers and staff cannot be blamed all the time. At some point, the parent company needs to realize what a waste this location, like the one in St Matthews is, and close it down, and cut the losses.

They could provide a little more customer service when picking up carryout. No offer to help!

I’ve been here a few times the food is typical chain food. However the last and hopefully final visit we had here we stood in line for 35 minutes waiting for a table along with about 3 other couples. I heard the manager tell the hostess that if a group of four didn’t come in to start seating the couples. I kinda of thought it was a joke but sure enough 4 ladies walked in the door and with less than 15 seconds of wait time were taken directly to a table. My wife and I walked out and haven’t been back. 14 months and I’ve not considered going back since. If that’s their policy that’s fine but I have many better choices when it comes to dining out.

There is normally not much point to reviewing chain restaurants because the point of a chain is consistency. Consistent food, consistent service. However, my visit to O’Charley’s on Friday night stands out and so it was worthy of a review. My boyfriend and I headed to O’Charley’s Friday night mainly because I wanted their dinner rolls. After a moderate wait we were seated and the waitress came to take our drink orders. I ordered a shirley temple(my signature drink) and she asked me if I wanted cotton candy in it?!? Why would I, a grown adult, want cotton candy in my drink? I explained that I just wanted a normal shirley temple. She brought me sprite with grenadine in it(which had been made by the bartender). No cherries. No quite a shirley temple but it sufficed. Then she took our order. I ordered a turkey burger with lettuce, tomato, and mayonaise. This confused her. She said that she had never before taken an order for a turkey burger(it is on the menu). I had to show her the turkey burger on the menu and explain that I was supposed to tell her according to the menu what toppings I wanted on it. My boyfriend ordered a beef burger. She brought us bread which we ate. I drank my shirley temple and it sat empty. Still no food. I mused about what might have happened to our waitress and our food. More time passed. Eventually she came over and started talking about how she was going to talk to managers about where our food was and was going to refill our drinks. More time passed and still no food. She came back and said that she had talked to two managers and they still hadn’t made our food. We were pretty puzzled considering we had just ordered two burgers. She brought us more bread and drinks. Finally our food showed up and it had really clearly been sitting under the heat lamp for a while because the lettuce had wilted away on our burgers. Despite that my turkey burger was good. It was juicey and had a nice grill flavor. However, my boyfriend had ordered his burger medium well and his was way past well done. Not a meal I would return for.
