We are coming back for sure! The banana strawberry speculoos waffle was fantastic. Sweet but the fruit balanced it out. My husband had the BLT waffle and having bites of his along with mine made the perfect sweet and savory combo. Skip brunch at a restaurant and hunt them down and then eat the waffles in your car, like we did. We left satisfied and it was worth it!

This is a must for anybody living in /passing through Clarksville. Their liege waffles are something completely unreal… They have little clusters of sugar that just surprise you in the best way. Their fruit specials are absolutely amazing — a huge waffle with fruit and whipped cream for only $ 6.00. I highly recommend them for breakfast, and I definitely encourage everybody to try it out if you haven’t already. It says on the side of their truck that some addiction may occur, and I must say that I’m completely hooked. If I could take this with me to college I totally would… With that being said, here are some of my favorites: — any liege waffle, really — both of the fruit specials(banana/strawberry/speculoos and mixed berries/whipped cream) — the breakfast sandwich($ 5 for eggs bacon/sausage cheese) — apples and cinnamon — smoked salmon French waffle

Why did I wait so long to try this place?! I’ve had T&J waffles bookmarked for a while and forgot about it. My husband and I were in the area this morning so we decided to grab breakfast there. I got the sausage sandwich and he ordered a sausage bacon sandwich. I wanted to try the liege waffle so I ordered that as well with mixed berries. To drink, OJ and coffee. First, my sandwich came with two patties which was unexpected. It was actually too much meat for me but I just pulled one off, not complaining. It was delicious. I didn’t need syrup or anything. My husband loved his sandwich as well. On to the mixed berry liege waffle –just wow! The crunchy sugar crystals in the waffle and the crispy outside paired with amazing berries was great. I don’t know where they get the fruit, but the blueberries and blackberries were some of the best I’ve ever had. Service was fast and friendly. I’ll be back… often.

Wow, what an experience. It was my first time there. I pulled up and there was a line, already a good sign for me. Anytime there’s a line and it’s cold outside, it has to be good. And yes it was. I got their waffle with sausage and bacon on it. I thought that would be too much meat, but it wasnt. Everything was perfect. The food was hot and the waffle was light and airy. They gave me a pager so I would know when my food was ready, I loved that because it allowed me to sit in my car and wait instead of crowding around the truck. I will definitely be back. They are also easy to find. I called them to see if they were open before I arrived, I was a little disappointed when I didn’t get an answer. But they called me back and answered my questions even though I’m sure they were busy. 5 stars, keep it up.

We’ve made it a Saturday tradition to go WAY out of our way to get some of the greatest waffles in the world! Each time I try to get something different but those waffles with fruit just keep calling my name. Mixed berries with whip* Strawberry banana with speculoos** Raspberries with nutella* All amazing. But I can only ever finish eating one. The waffles are sweet and slightly crunchy on the outside, but amazingly soft, warm and fluffy on the inside. Recently my boyfriend got the waffle bites with ice cream. Um wow, now THAT is a killer brunch treat! We’ve even taken people from out of town to try these waffles and they always equal up to the hype we I’ve them. The people here are happy and efficient, they will let you know when they have to slow things down to get waffles out. Totally cool with that, just make those waffles perfect! These waffles always make my weekend perfect. When eaten hot from the truck, sitting in the grass, you can’t find anything better!

Freakin’ amazing. I tell EVERYONE about T&J Waffles. Lately I’ve been craving the chicken salad waffle which is just so simple but absolutely delicious. Chicken, celery, mayo and black pepper on a hot, crispy waffle with cold lettuce. And it’s HUGE for just $ 6.

This is one of those rare moments when you should believe the hype! I moved further north recently and decided to venture out on a Saturday morning to the food truck. Following the location posts on Unilocal,I arrived shortly after 9:30am. I quickly realized that I had forgotten cash and was unsure of their payment options, so I swung to the bank(there are several options) across the street. I ordered a strawberry waffle and a bacon, egg, and cheese waffle. Yes, this is a TON of food for one person, but I just had to see if the varieties were as good as they smelled. And boy… were they! The strawberry waffle had a sugary crunch in some parts and the strawberries were heaped on top and fresh. It was so good that I ate the whole thing while driving home. The bacon, egg, and cheese was piled high between two waffles and full of flavor. It became my lunch because I was so full. Take the drive, get a waffle, and listen to the kind folks on Unilocal. It’s worth every penny. HANDSDOWNTHE I HAVEEVERHAD!

*Takes a bite of a golden brown liege waffle, topped with fresh raspberries and blueberries, a sprinkle of powdered sugar and a drizzle of syrup* #waitforit *taste buds explode* … FOODGASM!!! My fellow Unilocalers… no words in my review can really explain how good these waffles are from T&J Waffles Food Truck. These are not regular waffles people… key words: pearl sugar. Its magical! And if you are not convinced… I will become a Tamartian and tell you that these waffles WILLGIVEYOUYOURLIFE! Haha. I think I’m addicted now since I live close now… because I have to convince myself not to go! My kitchen is usually stocked, so while I have food to cook… I have to admit that sometimes I just don’t want to cook! I will grab takeout or ready-made food and bring it home… knowing good and well that I went to the grocery store the day before! I know alot of people do it too… it’s called #firstworldproblems these days. Thankful!(And some may call this lazy… lol) Anywho… the concept is so simple… sweet, delicious goodness in the AM!(They do have savory options for those with no sweet tooth.) Now I’m an early bird, so I’m out running a few errands earlier than most and I will pick these up right before I head home for a late breakfast. It’s like my special treat for getting ish done early! But don’t fret… they are open until early afternoon, so you can definitely sleep in and still have plenty of time to grab a waffle for brunch. JUSTGO!!! I have been here a few times and tried different sweet variations and my favorite remains the liege waffle with fresh berries and a hit of crack… I mean powdered sugar! Lol. They have a banana and nutella version that I like… sometimes I spread a little peanut butter on the waffle when I get home! Inspiration = Elvis Pancakes! The food truck is usually in front of Kendalls Hardware on Saturdays… just check their Facebook page to find their daily location! I definitely recommend this place, and as I like to say… «I’LLBEBACK!!!»

So I just came back from getting a tuna melt waffle. Its nuts. I dont think T&J knows how to make something mediocre. Everything about the tuna melt is as good as it gets. Right amount of mayo, great crisp from the celery, salted to perfection, with the perfect complimentary cheese melted on top. Its even cooked in a way that the tuna stays together since its cupped in the melted cheese. This is my new go to item. Its also so worth the price since I think it can serve two people. I’m full and staring at the other half of my waffle and wondering if I should go for it…

I love that they have interesting toppings, but I just don’t have the sweet tooth that warrants a sweet topping on top of a sweet waffle. That said, they’re back tomorrow, and I’m hoping to try something savory.

OMG!!! The waffles are amazing! Fresh, flaverful, and Oh so. Yummy! If I didn’t care about my figure I would eat 2… You have to look them up on twitter to find out where they are located, but is sooooo worth it! Enjoy!

These are not«just a waffle»! Both the liege(sweet) and French(regular) waffles are amazingly delicious on their own, but with the toppings that they offer, how could you say no? People have looked at the price and thought a bit high, but you are definitely getting your money’s worth. The waffles are filling, satisfying and toppings fresh. The strawberries have been very sweet and plump. If you get a savory sandwich, the meat is overflowing. I’ve had the breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, sausage AND bacon; the brisket sandwich — my friend who does not even care for meat could not get enough of the brisket; and grilled cheese. All have been very scrumptious. I’ve been to the hardware store location in Clarksville several times and every time, there is a line of eager customers. The owner and staff are always very friendly. Considering the line, the service is actually faster than expected.

Exceeded my expectations! I’m always wary of food trucks which are usually overpriced and not so great. The pulled pork sandwich was so good! So much pork and it was very tender. So good with the perfectly crispy waffle. The strawberry banana speculoos waffle was also good. The waffle itself can stand alone because it’s perfectly crispy and soft and perfectly sweet even without all of the toppings. This is saying a lot because I’ve had mediocre waffles where the toppings are totally needed. Overall, definitely worth it and a lot better than expected from a food truck:) and the guys were all super nice

Asiago Chicken was pretty good, it different being served on one of their signature waffles. It wasn’t all that I thought it would be based on the reviews and left a little to be desired. I hope that I can try something different when I find this food truck again.

This is the best place to get breakfast on a Saturday morning. It just happens to be served in a truck. Food trucks are the dinning experience of our era. It’s fast service, good food and you have to hunt them down. T and j waffle truck really is a great way to get your waffle fix, that is if ur able to track them down. The food is worth waiting in line for. The food is made fresh to order. My favorite thing to do is get a savory dish and a sweet dish in one order. That way I can get the sweet and savory fix. When you take your food to go, the food does get super soggy. So if you can try to open the container lid and if you can try to eat it in your car. Also to keep your food from getting soggy ask them for syrup to go. And pour the syrup at home! Overall, this food truck is worth every single calorie and it’s even worth the wait, even in the cold!

Amazing. I never would of thought a waffle truck could be so good! I went here based off of reviews on Unilocal feed and I was not let down. I ordered a Nutella banana waffle and a bbq chicken ranch sandwich. Let start off with saying the chicken BBQ ranch came on a waffle, just in case you didn’t understand the whole waffle truck situtation like myself, I was completely caught off guard when I opened my box and it was on a waffle, but it makes sense. I took a bite and was hooked! I was going to save it for my lunch but wanted to try it freshly made and I couldn’t stop eating it! so good! The Nutella banana waffle was delicious, fresh pressed waffle topped with freshly cut bananas and drizzled in Nutella sauce topped with confectioner sugar, a treat on a cold snowy day! I only wish I still lived in Columbia so I could come here more often!

This review is long overdue. Went here a week ago, maybe 2 and loved it. First and foremost, the address is NOT correct because I stopped by twice to the address only to find out they weren’t there. My dumbass should have called first buuuut I just wanted me some waffle sammiches. :( So I called one day and the owner told me they were located right in front of the fitness building by the United Artists movie theaters. Finally, after attempting to find them, third times the charm. I parked, went up there and it’s a husband, wife and son team I believe and they’re some of the most outgoing people around. I’ve had a very humorous and informative conversation with them. After talking to them for a good 10 minutes, I decided to order a few things. They recommended me getting their Asiago Chicken or something like that so I got that, the breakfast platter sandwich and their most popular Banana and Nutella dessert. I got it to go and drove home, opened it up and the waffles weren’t crispy at all. Why? Because they were in containers and I had to drive home so it would make sense that they wouldn’t be crispy. But I took my first bite off of the Breakfast Waffle and it was SOGOOD. I’m a big fan of the McGriddle sandwiches at McDonalds though I don’t go there often. The Breakfast sandwich here is like the McGriddle except 10 times better. Absolutely love it. I then took a bite of the chicken sandwich and that was delicious too, though I’d probably get something else next time. Banana and Nutella dessert was extraordinary. Extra ordinary. It’s the perfect dessert, not too heavy and not too light. Tasty, sweet and hits the spot. If you ever want to know where they’re headed, make sure to like them on Facebook or follow them on twitter!

Woah! Wow! Yum! Eggs cooked to perfection, bacon and sausage, all stuffed in between two Belgian waffles equals the most delicious breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had! Ok, supposedly it’s a French waffle, but either way, it’s probably my new favorite breakfast. Why oh why does it have to be in Clarksville??? Ordering is pretty simple, you look at the menu, or pick something off the board and tell the guy, who will check it off on his clipboard. It’s a pretty simple system but efficient since it’s a food truck. All of the people in the truck were pretty friendly and affable people who answered our questions well. We had no idea what a liege waffle was, but they showed us and I happily obliged by ordering both! The liege waffle with apples and cinnamon was so good that even thought I gorged myself on the waffle sandwich first, I managed somehow to find room to eat the entire waffle! I almost needed someone to roll me to the car after! My companion also got the liege waffle with strawberries and dulce de leche and it was amazing! It’s a waffle truck! You can’t get any better than this for a waffle truck and their food should be served in a real restaurant! But honestly, I think if they did, it would lose it’s novelty and awesomeness, so keep it up Thomas Waffle! Next time, I’m going to try the chicken salad and a waffle pop!
