Terrible service ANDVERYSLOW I was trying to get a quick bite to eat before my concert and they took around 30 minutes to make my food and in turn I missed my back stage opportunity so thanks guys

I purchased to-go breakfast and it was horrible! I left an email explaining how my avocado was missing, a half an inch of liquid was underneath my eggs and my potatoes were over cooked. I never heard back and I never returned!

Good food, but they are ALWAYS out of things. I tried on four different occasions to come here for breakfast(which they say they serve all day). The first two times they were out of pancakes(when really I heard the chef say they needed to stop making the pancakes so they can focus on lunch) so I really think I was lied to. The second time it was bacon and the third time it was eggs. No excuse for this. I really wanted to love this place because it is right next to my house. The food is pretty good, but they also took one of the best things, the pulled pork sandwich, off of the menu and make you buy two flatbread sandwiches in order to come close to what it was before. Feels like a rip off every time I come in here. Last choice. I gave them two stars because the workers are usually very nice, although many of them honestly have no idea what they are doing.

Really enjoy the food here but have been waiting over 20 minutes for our food(along with many others). Staff and managers continue to change frequently. We keep trying to give them more chances, but they will probably lose our business. Poorly run restaurant!

I really like the salads here and the coffee and baked goods are decent too. Service is quick and on point. Good food for the fast food category.

I usually like Corner Bakery. It’s not my favorite place to eat but I always enjoyed their breakfast platters. until recently. I went on May 17th and got the pancakes, bacon and eggs. long story short, the eggs were horrible and I ended up getting so sick in the bathroom. I ask the manager if I could get a comp for my meal, especially since my meal was virtually untouched, and he refused saying next time I come in I can have a free meal. there won’t be a next time.

Great spot and atmosphere. Stopped in with the wife after a long Dr. visit. Clean and spacious place, reminds me of Panera Bread. Service was great and I especially enjoyed the service of my food being bought to me. The pancake was fluffy but skinny. They were not all bulky. They were airy and light. This is a new establishment close to the mall connected to the new apartment building. Very roomy and spacious. Give it a try, you will like it.

This place is consistent… Consistently OUT of something. I’ve only been in this area for a few months, but visited many times. Seems like the«egg white delivery schedule» is always off because they don’t have them when I come in. If you serve breakfast and have the item on the menu, HAVEITINSTOCK. Hey, I know things happen, but there is a WholeFoods minutes away. Someone make a run. But don’t be unprepared. Bad for business. This is not isolated to breakfast either. One time I went for lunch. This time it was bread. BREAD! At a bakery! Smh… My suggestion? Bring your own egg whites or find another place for breakfast.

Great for any meal of the day! They have great bakery sweets too! The Uptown Turkey combo with Al’s Chili for and extra $ 1 is fantastic!

Stay away around noon. Worse place to go. They are dazed & confused. Being a new place we figured they’d have to work out some glitches. We’ve gone 4 times & each time it gets worse than the previous visit. We waited 45 minutes for breakfast the other day. I ordered the avocado scramble and my husband ordered a breakfast sandwich. We both got coffees and two of their coffee containers were completely empty so we took what we could get. Breakfast came after 45 minute wait there was no avocado on my avocado scramble. Asked for catsup but they were out. Lines of folks complaining.

Great place and so happy they have opened in this area! Everyone had excellent customer service. I was searching for a sandwich I had through catering and the manager knew exactly what I was looking for. Even though this item was not on the regular menu, he found a way to make it my order! He even baked the ciabatta bread just for my sandwich because it was not a part of the menu. The sandwich turned out great even though they ran out of turkey. He was quick and suggestive to offer chicken breast instead. Will definitely return!!!

The Corner Bakery Café is a chain restaurant located in one of the buildings across the street from the Columbia Mall’s parking lot. I found it a little odd that there was a mall right there and this was where they decided to put an eatery, but the mall isn’t open at 7AM for breakfast, is it? I did just want a little spot where I could pick up something quick for breakfast, and this place does fit the bill, sort of. In the morning I just want to grab a breakfast sandwich and a coffee and go. The menu above the counter is no help at all with this. It is divided up between«Power Flats», «Scramblers», and Combos. They clearly want to distance themselves from every other shop that might sell a Ham, Egg and Cheese on a bagel, but I think they may be a little too dedicated to their theme if I have to decipher the menu just to figure out what item may actually include the ingredients I want. The Flatbread Avacado Sandwich is actually pretty tasty, if a little messy to eat. The coffee selection is pretty darn good, too. The place is pretty spacious and very clean inside. There is some parking along the main drag out front, but during the day I figure you’ll probably have to use the Mall parking lot and dodge traffic, but I don’t know if it’s worth the risk.

Great food, now that’s the good comments. At this particular location the staff does not engage well, in two instances I have pre ordered food 15 to 20 minutes ahead of arriving and when I have arrived he food has not been ready. To make things worse the people who walk up and order after me receive their food ahead of my pre-order.

We have had nothing but awful experiences at this Corner Bakery. I waited until we had been here more than a few times before writing a review. Trip #1: a Saturday night around 7pm It was completely empty and we got a to-go order. He got a «you pick two» with a sandwich and soup, I ordered a «you pick two» with pasta and salad. After about 15 minutes we got our bag. In our bag we got one salad and one sandwich. half of each of our orders. They didn’t know what types of pastries they had and had to ask a manager. The manager was the one putting together our order and messed it up. Trip #2: weeknight for dinner Not awful service but the food was not very good. The salad looked like it was old lettuce and everything was kind of… soggy. Trip #3: Sunday morning(11am) for breakfast Worst. Trip. Ever. We won’t be returning. We arrived at 11am, stood in like for close to 20 minutes, and didn’t receive our food until 11:55am. Absolutely absurd. There were no potatoes left… really?! Sunday morning and you have not potatoes?! Secondly, there were no tables! We cleaned off a table ourselves. Thirdly, there were no napkins except for those in the«to-go» wrappers. Also, no to go boxes for leftovers. They gave us the wrong receipt so when I went to show them we had paid for a pastry but hadn’t received it, it was a bit of a problem. The staff was not very apologetic for any of the issues. We were not greatly warmly and it didn’t seem like a big deal. For these reasons, we won’t be returning. It is very unfortunate as we do enjoy the food and it is very close for us. The staff, including the male manager always present, is not invested in this establishment. All of the other Corner Bakery locations that we have visited in Maryland do not seem to have these problems.

Went for breakfast with a large group and ordered the Anaheim scrambler with fruit on the side. The scrambler was pretty good. It had a combo of bacon bits, cheese, green onions and other veggies with two slices of avocado on top. Also shared the buttermilk pancakes with friends; it was pretty delicious and fluffy with the syrup. Service was fast and friendly. It was pretty spacious inside so it’s ideal for groups. I don’t think I would go back unless there was a reason to though

My first time in a Corner Bakery was phenomenal! The atmosphere was warm and cozy, the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. When the guy waiting on me realized it was my first time there he was very helpful and even comped my dessert for being a first timer. Since it’s just around the corner from my office I will be going there frequently!

I came for lunch, around 1p. Although in walking distance, I drove. There’s parking in front for those who want to run in. You can also order ahead online & do a fast pickup which is very convenient. I didn’t do that… I just sashayed in. There was no line. The staff was friendly. Unlike another location that I visited in California, this counter didn’t have a pick-up area for those coming in to order to go. So you are just awkwardly waiting in the order area & reaching over people once your name is called. In my opinion, the counter should have been much longer than what it is. I ordered a ½ sandwich, ½ soup with a dessert. This also came with chips. The sandwich(urban turkey) was delicious. The chips… Well, they aren’t like the ones from owners. They were kinda greasy actually. The dessert was amazing! The soup however… Idk how I forgot. I ordered this soup when I was in Cali and forgot how horrible it was. I got the tomato basil. It’s not a bisque people, it’s not. I know that’s what we are used to. Please take my warning… It’s not a bisque. Abort, retreat, run the heck away. What it is, is: chunky marinara that is in desperate need of parade an cheese, heavy cream, prayers and Jesus. Have I ever steered you wrong before? No! So trust me when I say, although seeing tomato basil soup might make you mouth water, this soup will only disappoint. Look & look away. Your belly will thank you later.

I order two Anaheim scrambler for carry out. When I open the container I noticed both of the avocado have black spot on it also scramble egg were very dry. While it was nice to not cook breakfast myself, I won’t be going back to this store again. If you decide to try this store for carry out, I strongly suggest to check your order before you leave the store.

A convenience location rather than a destination. Trip #1– I went in for coffee but noted a large choice of bake goods. The coffee is ok. They handed me a coupon for another cup on the house, since they ran out of rewards cards, which I’ll likely use. This is better for me since I’m no fan of rewards cards. Trip #2 — The service is enthusiastic though if one asks for a bagel with butter you’d expect a knife, behind the counter, being offered after asking where the butter is(on the floor bar). The bagel is marginal. The Bakers Blend coffee is good and free this trip.
