Lots of things no one could possibly ever want or need. Over priced old furniture. Very musky inside. The second floor is scary to walk around because of the thin and creeping floor boards. And they let a vendor sell fake Ray Bans, beats headphones, etc. Not good business.

Definitely older and dusty inside but don’t let that change your mind about coming in or stopping! I wish I would have found this place a few years ago when I moved here ! I love that every time you go it’s always something different inside! There is so many booths filled with so many different items, I will say the top is very crowded with booths and items for sale.

I have been a regular customer of This Old Place, visiting at minimum 2 to 3 times a month, often more. I had the ugliest run in with owner/manager this past Saturday. I just happened to have purchased a piece of furniture at each of the other the neighboring stores. We had arrived, parked in one of the many spots in the completely empty parking area in front of This Old Place. My husband and I were standing outside the uhaul we had rented determining where the best place to park to pick up our itens wold be. We had decided to go into the stores and ask. Within that tiny amount of time the owner had come out and very rudely told us we had to move NOW. My real issue was her demeanor. The way she spoke did not offer once ounce of politeness or customer service. She could have approached us in a much different manner but she allowed her anger towards the other stores to dictate her actions towards us. It infuriated me since I had been a customer of her store for far long and more often then the furniture stores that are on each side of her. She explained that she has conflicts with the neighboring employees. I explained that I am a regular customer to her store and I’d appreciate it if she’d simply give me, the customer and more often then not her customer, 20 minutes to do what I need to do. She continued to explain her issues with the adjoining store and stated that I had not purchased anything from her store therefore i am not permitted to park in her marked spaces. I understand that I was in her marked spots for her store but at the time I arrived every one of her many parking spots were completely empty and it was simply easier to park our large uhaul there rather than attempting to park it in between other cars. Like I said before, my biggest grevience is her demeanor and how she had chosen to speak to us. She was exceptionally rudely from the start to the end of our conversation. Ironically enough after walking into the first furniture store we were given instructions on how to get to the loading dock at the back of the store. Unfortunately as much as I had previously enjoyed shopping in her store, after my interactions with the very rude owner/manager, I have absolutely no interest in giving her my business any longer. And I will make certain that everyone I know is aware of how rude and unprofessional the owner/manager is at This Old Place. I couldn’t even comprehend how she’d be if an issue were to arise within her store.

I have been to this location numerous times now, but I remember the first time my mother drug me on an expedition to furnish the living room with odds and ends. It was an absolute treat. Both levels of the store are packed with historic pieces and adorable trinkets. I bought a cheap copy of The Scarlet Letter here and I brought my close friend here a few weeks back. We walked in the store and right away he found a Bowie album on vinyl that he’d been searching for. It’s not super organized, but is definitely more of a treasure trove than a junk pile. The staff is friendly. The air conditioning is non-existent, so it’s a little bit of a bother during the hot months. Definitely will return whenever I’m back in Clarksville and in the mood to explore.

This antique store is more like an antique mall with the different booths, amount of space and goods, and different pricing. Each booth makes their own pricing which means you can find some great deals. For example, I found a large old window for $ 12 which was tucked away in a packed corner of stuff. Sometimes you have to dig a little but you can find items from diy projects to boutique items. The furniture is pretty reasonably priced, for most items. I will definitely be visiting again!

Wow so glad I found this place! Awesome selection a little bit of everything and all different price points! I will def be back! Be warned though they are only open Wed-Sat. Parking can be tricky as well.

If you like antiques and really really really good prices — go here. All the other antiques stores in downtown Clarksville are so expensive. Everything seems to be $ 150 for some reason. No idea. If i want a dresser that looks like it’s been dragged through mud and an old parking lot — i’m sure as hell not gonna pay $ 150. But anyways — back to the store. The people are real nice and if you’re in the mood for hunting, this is the place for you. Lots of antique furniture from the 80s, 70s and 60s — maybe some 50s. Just gotta dig. I was looking for a night stand and dresser. I didn’t buy anything but that’s only because nothing really jumped out and spoke to me. But there were lots of dressers, chairs and vanities. Other than that there’s anything you could look at — jewelry, baseball cards, old dishes, posters, mirrors — anything. Its a really neat place and the best antique place in Clarksville that I’ve seen so far.
