My family has been working with Polar Air for the better part of 25 years, and Steve is about as good as it gets when it comes to professional, knowledgable, and pleasant contractors. His knowledge of HVAC and its ancillary components is extremely comprehensive. Over the years, he has installed everything from simple window-​mount systems to industrial grade systems for offices and manufacturing.
As a third-​generation business owner, I can attest that there are few contractors with the caliber of Polar Air. When I have HVAC needs, Polar Air is the one and only call I need to make!

I’ve used Polar Air for two very different projects and been very happy with Steve’s service. He has rerouted an old gas line that was becoming exposed in the yard to a flexible line under the house. Also, much to my surprise, while discussing things I needed to do around the house I mentioned I needed to replace my old rotting deck. He gave me an estimate and built me a Trex deck with bench seating all around. It’s fabulous and gets many compliments from friends who see it! I would definitely recommend Polar Air!

I found out about this company from a good friend who was very happy with the service he performed on a difficult Eichler style home home in Walnut Creek.
I have used his service twice now for 2 projects. The one that especially impressed me was when I called him out for both a new floor vent installation in a newly remodeled master bedroom that required a custom sheet metal vent. I also asked if they could take a look at a situation I had on the new roof structure where a valley ended near a chimney. I said I thought it need a special cricket made to make sure it remained water tight. He agreed and to my surprise he had it made over night and installed it the next day. The roof went on smoothly after that and works great.
