I don’t understand why this place has such bad reviews. The food, beer, and service was wonderful! It was our first time there, and the waitress even paid for our first round of beers. The pizza was life-changing, and the beer selection was great. We will definitely be back!!!

Went for pizza and wings. Service was slow and waited forever. Young kids running behind bar and also noticed they were helping buss the tables. Food was average. We have been there several times in the past and have had excellent service however in the past year the service has gone downhill. Not sure what happened.

Went at noon for lunch. Empty and all the tvs and lights were off. We were told to sit anywhere and then the waitress asked us what we wanted to drink… i asked for a menu. Then she gave it to us but never returned. I had to go get her to come take our drink and food order. I felt like we were interupting their personal time. The food sucked. We should have had pizza i guess, but we expected some decent sandwiches. They were tiny and bland. And the chips tastes old and smelled like old oil. After, we both felt sick from the gross food we ate. Suggestions: turn on the lights and tvs. Do something about those blinds. Create an atmosphere. Expand your name to show people what you are(ie. Rushing Buckets — Pizza Pub). Hirer people who know how to serve or train them to do it(they were clueless). Take items off the menu that suck! If you can only make awesome pizza and wings then do just that! If you insist on having sandwiches make sure they are filling, especially for $ 9! We want to enjoy a local place like this so much, but this was such a let down.

The food is amazing. Pizza and wings are always a hit. The great beer selection is my favorite. The service was not good tonight. I had to beg my waitress for my beer and then again to order my food. My food was delicious and hot and fresh but not the service.

The food is AMAZING but the service absolutely sucks. It’s a shame, because we love coming here, but going forward I think we will stick with somewhere who has better and more attentive service:

Only here for the wings ’cause a friend said he ‘heard’ they were good. First, they don’t serve iced tea. Second, the sodas are in cans. On tap are micro beers only. Ok, a pilsner please, and a glass of water. The wings were fine. Nothing special. They tout housemade dry rub and sauces. Not impressed. The housemade chips, a basket of crumbs with ranch dressing for dipping. To cap it off, credit card machine not working. Paper processing. Uh, oh. Oh, well tried a new, local place. Checked off the list. We’ll be back to BDubs next time we want wings.

Antipasto salad consists of lettuce with pepperoni, olives and mushrooms. They forgot the dressing. Wings and chicken tenders were cold and neither tasted good. My daughter said the chips tasted like peanuts. Waited an hour and 15 minutes for what was supposed to be a 35 minute delivery time. Driver seemed ‘zoned out’… I guess if you need/want some beer delivered this might be the way to go. But if you are just ordering dinner for your family, save your money. Most of this meal went right in the trash. Sorry guys. I had higher hopes.

We were interested because of the Gluten free pizza. My son was very happy with it. Said it was great. We also had a pepperoni pizza and chicken pesto pizza. Very good. The wings were great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Also a pretty decent selection of beer! And they deliver too!

Ordered take out via grub hub. I ordered the bucket of the brown ale and honey wings(10). They were cooked very well but were bland. Apparently the only flavor on the wings comes from the sauce they’re dipped in. No salt or pepper on the meat prior to cooking I’m guessing. I also got the cheese bread which was ok. The place is somewhat small for a bar and felt more like a pizza shop that sold beer etc. I would have to give them another try on a different type of wings to see if the flavor holds. Service I’d say could be better. They see you standing there but don’t acknowledge you…

Not good. Service was slow and there was no one in there. Menu was very limited. Strange wing flavors… a little too much adventure in flavor. Very few sandwiches to choose from. Noticed someone else mentioned dirty glasses… we had same issue. Gross. Will not be returning. Not impressed with anything there.

Just did take out. So no insight into table side service. But the pizza and wings were awesome! Lived in NY my entire life until about a year ago and up until now, I’ve been very disappointed in the pizza and wings available in the Triangle area. Until trying this place! The wings are just like back in NY and this was true New York style pizza! Awesome crust too! Will definitely be back.

Tried again… So after last time of not even being seated we actually got a table and ate. Wow, what a disappointment. The waitress was bad, the food was below average, and the beer was TERRIBLE. Waitress: the place was virtually empty so it’s not like she was taxed. She didn’t know anything about the beers, which is ok, but just the way she went about it was in poor taste. Also she never really checked on us throughout the night to see how things were or if we needed anything. Also once she brought the checks, she came by the table with her purse and said she was leaving and just walked out the door. Someone handed her a tip and she didn’t even say thank you. Also throughout the night when I said thank you to her she never acknowledged me. Awful service. The food: it was just sub par. It tasted ok, but the price is high for what you get and it wasn’t that hot. Again they weren’t busy so what gives? The beer: the mugs are small probably 12 oz. the head on the beer was at least ¼ of the glass so I estimate I only got about 9oz of beer. On top of that, neither the beer nor the mug were cold. And for 4 – 6 $ for a glass it was also way over priced. I’m sad for this place since we like to support local places and wish this would have turned out better. But there is no way we’ll be going back here.

While the pizza is tasty the service is awful. They could use another server on busy Friday nights instead of running around all crazy. My biggest issue with this place is the dirty glasses. By the sink to the left are dirty glasses & the right a pile of «clean» glasses. I watched the woman server swish some running water into a glass the push it over to the clean side then proceed to pour a beer in one of the glasses from the clean side. No thanks.

Awesome pizza. Have been there 3 times now and food is very consistent. Had siracha wings the other day, along with pizza, and they were okay. The sauce was good but almost like the oil wasn’t quite hot enough, there was no crisp to the wings at all. Beer selection is great too. It’s good to have a local joint supporting other locals.

The dishes here are nothing short of amazing. The pizza has some of the best crust I’ve ever eaten. The craft beer selection is always rotating so I always get fresh choices. I can even take some to go! Great, friendly service.

Poor service on a Friday nite … with only two tables to serve. Food was okay but not worth the $. Good local craft beer selection though.

Love, love, love this place!!! My husband is from Buffalo and we have been searching for the perfect chicken wings. Score! Finally! These wings are awesome – just like home. The pizza reminds me of pizza I’ve had in Brooklyn – perfect thin, foldable crust and delicious sauce and cheese. Service is friendly and quick. Restaurant is a true pub: you can get growers here. Nice selection of local brews on tap. We will be back – often!

My family and I visited Rushing Buckets. Pizza is very good. Great bacon. I hope to see this as a local hang out. Please help this local place be a success instead of visiting a chain. Atmosphere is a little um… boring.

Awesome gluten free pizza! Unlike some other pizzerias, this crust was yummy and did not taste like sugary cardboard. My boyfriend, a New Yorker forged my the heat of 100’s of brick ovens, described the crust of his non gluten free pizza as fresh and flavorful. The sauce on the pizza, oh man, the sauce is incredible! To wrap it all up, they have several micro brews on tap and I was told they will soon have a cider. This is a great addition to the neighborhood and we are going to be regulars!
