Salon 1220

I decided to get a pixie cut four years ago when someone I knew got one and I asked who her stylist was. She told me Connie at Salon 1220 and I have been going there ever since! Connie does a great job — I often get compliments on my haircut.

I found this salon and 2 others on Unilocal.After stopping by all 3 I picked this one. The ladies were very friendly and knowledgeable. Connie cut and foiled my hair. She did a fabulous job and has cut our hair for my household of 5 now for 6 months. She does excellent with color for me. She is able to cut my fiancées hair well (his hair has a mind of its own)! She did very well with our 3 teenagers and they ask to go back when needed. It is definitely a good salon and we recommend Connie!

I stumbled upon this salon as I was looking to find a hair salon to call home. My stylist was very nice and well educated in noticing what my hair style was. (I went in with it looking like a hurricane and bird nest!) I did not have an appointment and they were able to take me anyway. The salon was busy and very attractive. The reason why I gave them three stars is because of some of the language and topics discussed, as well as, the lack of communication. I don’t like the stylist to talk your ear off, but you do want to have some connection. I came out with a good hair cut. However as I got home and straightened and played with my hair, I noticed strayed hairs. I also noticed that both sides did not look the same… nothing drastic… just something that you as yourself might notice. They do have good prices… hair cut for 35 dollars (shampoo and style). They also range in services including spray tan (however I only got the cut and style at this visit) All together good service, good atmosphere… just not sure it is for me.
