I have been a patron of Southeast Med Spa for over 10 years. The staff is always friendly and Angel Turlington makes sure she stays on top of the new and cutting edge treatments in the beauty industry. They keep me looking and feeling good about myself, never disappointed. Love this place they are the among the best.

The receptionists can be really rude. They tell you to get there 30 minutes early to your first appointment, I did and the were really rude about it, stating my appointment wasn’t for another half hour. They will talk about patients in front of other patients. They are open until 5, but I went to drop off paperwork at 4 and they locked the doors even though they are still in there. Dr. Mock was my doctor. She talks really fast and is really quick with her patients. She is nice, but doesn’t seem to want to spend more then 5 minutes with a patient, exam included. Overall they are really unprofessional.

I wanted to upgrade this to 5 stars, they really are wonderful here, and now have purse hangers! Thanks Southeast Women’s Center, for making our yearly visit as good as they can be.

There’s about a gazillion laser centers between my house and Clayton but after testing Southeast Med-Spa out using a Groupon deal, I’ve decided it’s worth the 25 minute drive each way, and I’ve continued going there for treatments on my legs and underarms. The laser they use at Southeast isn’t nearly as painful as what some of my friends have described as their experience with other laser treatments. Not sure why that is, but hey, I’m not complaining. Donielle is the laser tech and she’s great. Super knowledgeable and makes you feel completely at ease. I’ve never waited more than 10 minutes beyond my scheduled appointment to get in with her. The front desk staff is consistently EXTREMELY friendly. It’s nothing like a typical doctor’s office visit. A tip for those of you looking for a laser hair removal center — always wait for a special on the website. These places run them all the time and it’s worth waiting for. Between the Groupon certificate and a laser treatment special Southeast ran in September, I saved about 40% off the regular price. *One thing to mention — there is a hidden cost I wasn’t aware of until my first laser session. You have to get a physical at Southeast by your 3rd laser treatment to ensure you’re healthy enough to continue receiving treatments. For women, this is $ 80 – 100 out of pocket unless you can get your insurance to cover it as an annual exam.
