The Farmhouse at Persimmon Creek

We ate here as a party of five. Everyone thought the food was excellent. My fillet was tender enough to cut with a butter knife and the vegetables and salad were fresh and well prepared. The service seemed quite attentive. It is pricey but definitely worth it. Seating is limited and calling ahead months in advance is required.

We are from the Orlando area and have eaten at many up scale, nice, wonderful restaurants and have had better food, service and atmosphere for a fraction of the cost! We can dine at the top of The Contemporary and watch Disney fireworks while we eat for what this meal cost.
The lobster ravioli was delicious. All of the salads were great. But the main courses were disappointing. My trigger fish was good but not spectacular, just not a lot of flavor. The veal with pasta was good but it was a fried veal patty! Nothing special. The only thing that was great was the filet and it’s sauce.
The server was exceptionally nice and knowledgeable but slow and not attentive.
We have eaten many times at The Lake Rabun Hotel and Restaurant and the food was more creative, flavorful and unique for half the cost!
