I’m not sure why other reviewers complain of small rooms. Our double queen room felt spacious plus it was very clean and did not show signs of wear. We travel with our 60# dog and were happy they welcome large dogs and no pet fee! Will definitely stay here again on our way through Iowa. As a senior, our rate was less than seventy so this is a bargain!

The place is pet friendly, and doesn’t charge extra for pets, or didn’t when I traveled there in April of 2011. The staff was very kind and accommodating. I was on a road trip and trying to maintain a balance of regular road trip«kind of wing it» and planning ahead because traveling with pets requires some extra planning. They were willing to hold a pet room for me without making me pay in advance, just in case I couldn’t manage to drive that far. Luckily we did make it that far before needing to stop for the night, because I was certainly glad to give them my business after they provided that kind of customer service. The room was small, the beds took up most of the space. The free breakfast wasn’t anything amazing, but they rarely are. I was satisfied for the price, and would stay there again, as long as their pet policy sticks around.

Shortly after writing this review I received an email invite to a survey from the hotel chain. I gave them my honest opinion. A representative sent an email and stated that someone would be calling me to discuss my experience. I’ve yet to receive this phone call.
