Stopped by yesterday and met the owner and two waitresses. They were very warm and friendly. The food was good and inexpensive. I will plan to stop here every time I’m on I-70.

We came during Ragnar Relay, and this placed was slammed. They were short staffed and couldn’t handle the business with one waitress(totally not her fault). Not good when there’s a big crowd. Food was ok. Will fill an empty stomach, but is not very good quality.

Food is ok, they have a hard time keeping help since their business is so slow. The inside of this place is discussing and dirty. They need to do a lot of up keeps to make it nice again. It has been for sale for along time now. They want way to much money for it. I’d love to see a Chinese restaurant take over.

We go there for breakfast about once a month LOVEIT! It is not a fancy place and that makes it more comfortable in my opinion. The meals are priced right, The service is very friendly and the food comes out quickly. Really good food for a good price!

We were traveling to State College from DC for a wedding. Running ahead of schedule and hungry, we wanted to pull off the highway and find a random place to eat. Boy, did we find it. We felt like we were tresspassing into someone’s home when we first arrived — this is a good thing. Bucolic and simple, you know what you’re going to get when you walk in. They aren’t pretending to be something they aren’t. A diner-like menu, with two or three people running the place. Keep your expectations low, your attitude turned up, and your belly and wallet will thank you.

Good food, quick and easy off the freeway, decent prices $ 40 for 5 entrees and drinks! Worth the stop!

The hometown feel is so warm & welcoming. It’s easy on & off the highway. I was a little worried stopping here because it looks like a dive. Boy was I wrong the food is like you’d make at home. Fresh & delish! Very easy on the pockets too! For 4 of us it was $ 20 !!!

Service is very friendly. Food extremely disappointing, though. Cole slaw and french fries is the only thing that is safe to eat. The crab and salmon cake are falsely advertised as homemade, they were microwaved and one of them was still half frozen. the steamed shrimp looked microwaved too and we’re undercooked. we found out later from a local guy that many people have had food poisoning from the place. you are better of going to Mc Donalds

We just stopped at the spur of the moment to get gas saw the little restaurant and thought we would get a bite to eat. The cutest friendliest Asian man waited on us. He and his wife own the restaurant. The food was good, the cole slaw was excellent. Homemade fries, chips and the chicken rice soup of the day was delicious. If we are passing by again we will stop to eat!

Great burgers and onion rings. Fast service with a down home feel. We were in time for both breakfast and lunch and the breakfast menu looked nice.

This rating is as much for the service as it is for the food. Simple, delicious, and prepared in a timely fashion. Staff and patrons all friendly all willing to strike up conversation. A great spot to stop off on a road trip.

Crab cake sandwich was delicious! Fries were homemade, as well as the slaw. Service was very polite and quick.

Stayed in the area for the weekend, and came across this place for dinner. Great alternative to McDonald’s for sure! Good homemade comfort food — I had the Salisbury steak, my wife had the crabcake sandwich. Both were good, not outstanding, and the waitress and other patrons were extremely friendly and welcoming! Prices are reasonable too We’ll be back next time we’re in the area!

My buddies and I needed a place to grab some breakfast before skiing and this was the perfect place. Breakfast was simple but good and service was great!

Entirely recommend this place. We would normally stop at Cracker Barrel — probably because I just didn’t know this place existed. This is a great little country diner and very friendly. The food was great(ridiculously cheap) — I’d hate to see this place disappear. Our customer service was about as good as it gets.
