Great Local Pizza. The wife and I love the spartican. The crust is phenomenal. I must warn you the large is ridiculously large. You will hurt yourself thinking two ppl to a large is a good idea.

Great pizza! They have different slices on each day of the week. If you have another pizza in mind, you can also order an entire pizza.

Recently moved to the Layton/Clearfield area & was guided by my fellow Unilocalers to the lucky slice. Love the unique spin in different types of pizza. I got a slice of the BBQ chicken pizza and it was HUGE! I am very excited to try the wings, as I will be back in the future! It is a delicious change of pace, but not exactly 5-stars quality to me.

Lucky Slice is one of our favorite places to go to lunch or a quick date night dinner. The service is always great! I usually get a combo that comes with a pizza slice, breadstick, dipping sauce and drink. I love the thin crust and I have to admit I almost always just get a plain cheese slice — mostly because it’s the closest thing I’ve had to New York style pizza here in Utah and that makes me happy! The breadsticks are big, with lots of parmesan cheese and garlic. My husband’s favorite slices are Fire Island(garlic sauce, mozzerella, capicola ham, carmelized onions, jalepeños and pineapple) and the Marghie(their yum version of a margherita pizza). Last night in addition to our slices we also ordered some Motz Ballz and they are DELICIOUS! Little tiny breaded balls of mozzerella deep fried into yumminess!

This is our favorite local«thin pizza» spot! Our two favorite pizzas are«Carnivore» and«The Danimal», but they are always coming up with new and seasonal varieties as well. Both locations — Ogden and Clearfield — are excellent; Ogden has more of a college-town pizza joint feel, while the Clearfield location is newer and more upscale feeling. Regardless, the pizza at both are excellent. They also have an excellent(for Utah) beer selection! Ditch the national chain joints and try a local favorite!!!

Lucky Slice is our go-to pizza restaurant in Northern Utah. We will drive here from Sandy because it is easily the best pizza I’ve ever had. I’m a big fan of the flavors they combine on their specialty slices. The toppings are always delicious and fresh, and whether you’re into vegetarian or always need meat on your pizza, Lucky Slice has something for you. My favorites are the Carnivore, CBR and the barbecue chicken. But what makes the pizza — what really sets Lucky Slice apart — is the crust. It’s light, crispy and airy. It’s perfect. Once you understand the crust is everything, you understand and appreciate what they do with their toppings more. Like I said. .. best pizza I’ve ever had. I envy folks who can have this pizza delivered to their homes for no charge. I really do. I hope the owners will think about opening up a spot in SLC soon.

Been looking for this style of pizza — kind of reminds me of a slice I picked up in downtown NY years ago… Flat, hot, not Chewy and a big pizza oven to reheat… Great place — nice clean restaurant — I’ll be back

This place is pretty good! I come here with my friends once a month and I never regret my visits. It’s disheartening that almost all of their menu items are reserved for different days of the week, I wish they’d state that on the menu so I wouldn’t keep having to ask. It’s good that the Margherita stays on the menu every day because it’s one of their best! The chicken wings are nice and crisp, which is fantastic as well! The staff is kinda quirky but I’ve mostly had okay customer experiences with them, so no problems there. Overall, it’s great! If you haven’t tried them out, then by all means, bring your friends over and have a blast!

Lucky Slice has a casual vibe with tv’s, a chalk wall and a plethora of pizza options to dine upon! We started with a slice of the monthly special which was buffalo, bacon and Mac n cheese. It was very tasty and it managed to meld the flavors together without losing anyone of them. We then ordered the dub Allstar which has chicken, pesto, bbq sauce drizzle and basil. It was very tasty! The crust is very thin and the pieces are large enough to cut in half and split if you wanted, which I didn’t. To top it all off we had an order of zeppoles that came with a side of Carmel sauce. The zeppoles are like little pillows of heaven dusted in cinnamon and sugar and work well with the Carmel sauce. A word to the wise you get a large amount of zeppoles with your order so be forewarned! Over all it was a good experience and the pizza was excellent! Needless to say we will be back! They also serve beer and wine by the bottle, glass, and pitcher! Hit this place up if you are I the mood for pizza!

I was so hoping this pizza was going to be like NY. But I was disappointed where is the sauce and cheese? Hard to find good pizza in Utah.

Lucky Slice is a fresh face to the growing pizza scene. With a ski town vibe, they offer many awesome pizza options. My favorite is the pesto. It’s so delicious. They also do delivery! I’ve eaten at their location on Ogden and ordered delivery from this location and both times, you get your food hot and fresh.

I love the Bianca pizza here! Pizza is great, rice krispies treats are very good. I love that I can come in here and get a huge slice of tasty pizza for such a reasonable price…$ 3 for a slice of cheese or pepperoni or $ 3.50 for the special pizzas… like my favorite Bianca. So much better than the same old production line burger for about the same price!

This pizza is incredible! And also huge, we made the mistake of ordering a large pepperoni for delivery and it almost took up our(card table size) dining table, but that is in no way a complaint. It’s the real New York style pizza that’s thin and you fold it in half into a delicious pizza sandwich. Their cheese bread tastes like dreams and happiness, it’s incredible. We’ve also come in and just grabbed a slice, which is usually awesome, the service is always great their recommendations are awesome. The restaurant itself is really nice, it’s pretty big and there’s a nice mural on one wall. If you haven’t tried this place before I suggest you do, it’s much better than any of the chain pizza places I’ve ever eaten at!

Lucky Slice is the cream of the crop; the best of the best. I’ve been frequenting the Ogden location for over a year and have had the opportunity to try almost all of their pizza offerings as well as some of their salads. Always amazing. 35 check-ins later, I have yet to be disappointed with the quality or service. You get what you pay for, and what you pay for is a damn good slice of pizza. The new location is fantastic so far with the same feel and good vibes but with a little more breathing room. There are few pizza places in the area that can compete with the diversity and taste of Lucky, although the real seller here is pizza by the slice served on a paper plate, which is something that every city needs. I will continue to go to both locations and share the good word with my friends and relatives. Peace. Love. Pizza.

I’ve been to the ogden location once because of a fund raiser for lgbt youth, so I know this is a legit place and supports the community. The clearfield location is close to my work so I will visit here more than ogden, I’m sure. The inside is decorated and looks a lot better than the ogden location. The seating is really nice, the line to order is not next to the door so there is plenty of room inside to stand in line. I love this location but I’ve seen many restaurants come and go over the years. I think this place will last, but I thought others would too. I ordered the combo 6 which is any pizza with ½lb of chicken wings. I decided to do the carnivore slice and it was perfect. I love the thin crust that is crunchy on the outside. The sauce was really good and the toppings were just enough to make this pizza awesome. I decided for the chicken to get the cajun sauce with bleu cheese dipping sauce. The first 4 pieces were cooked perfectly. The out side of the wings were crispy and the inside nice and moist. The sauce was good as well. However the last 3 pieces of chicken I had were still bloody by the bone. I did not complain because I needed to get back to work. One of the bloody pieces was rather large and was not like the others and when I tried to bite into it, it was tough so I didn’t even try eating that one. My recommendation is skip the wings because of my experience and go with the pizza. I wished I would have ordered the 2 slice combo. 5 stars for the pizza and 2 stars for the chicken which is why I gave them 3 overall(3.5). I think the pizza and wing combo is the most expensive too. Mine came to 9.50 for any slice of pizza, ½ lb wings(about 8 smallish wings), and a fountain drink. The others range in price from 6 to 8.

I’ve been twice to the new location, the first slice I had was like 2 stars. I was really bummed because I had expected more from Lucky Slice. But I decided to give their second locations a second try:) with 2 slices this time… See a pattern? Both my slices this time were on point and coincided with my previous Ogden Lucky Slice experiences. Good pizza, better«rice crispys» seriously. They are crack. PS. Get a slice, the pizzas themselves have always been EXTREMELY soggy to the point that they almost seem undercooked. I’ve bought a whole pie twice and it’s been that way both times. :D Deuces ;)

I’m so excited to have a second location to enjoy all the delicious pizza NOMS! I love the vibe, the beer, and of course the pizza!
