It was really good, but it’s closed. :(Too bad they chose to tell their customers via a piece of paper taped to the door… The real rub is the restaurants in Layton/Ogden. WHY are they all so mediocre?

We came here for lunch one day. I am not sure if they have any relationship with the other firehouse prefix places in state. The interior had not changed much from the previous pizza joints that was in the same location. We got some bread and a Cajun Sausage pizza. The bread was a bit hard, the marinate sauce was a bit bland, and the cheese sauce was much better. The pizza dough was a bit soft at the center, and should probably be in the oven for another min or so, and flavor was a bit light. Firehouse was an ok place in comparison with the other pizza joints in town. Service was just ok as well. I might come again to try different things.

Love the Logan location, and Brigham, and the first time to the Layton location was good. Went to the Layton last weekend with friends. All four calzones were burnt as was the pasta dish. And they fogot to cook one of our orders… not to impressed.

We love firehouse pizza. We used to go in logan. This place has the same great taste. Tonight was a bit hectic for the restaurant but it was masked by great food and an awesome waiter! He made sure we were recommended the right food and checked in several times letting us know the kitchen was having problems. Even gave us a discount! Thanks Derick for all you’ve done tonight.

This location is under new management again. The focaccia bread is addictive. The pizza is heavenly. The FH’zookie is always like Crack! I just can’t get enough! I’m so happy to live near one again! Yay! The service was good and friendly! We’ll definitely be going back often.

What a very strange experience this evening. We’ve been frequenting this place for many, many months now. Having discovered the Milano Pizza(a lightly sauced pizza with mozzarella gobs and fresh basil brushed in olive oil) and loving the authentic taste we decided to come back again and again. At this juncture I’m not sure we can say we’ll be coming back any time soon. A week ago we came in and asked for the usual, noticing it wasn’t on the newly printed menu. We were told that ownership had changed and left this(most popular item off, accidentally), we were assured that they could continue making us this delicious pie despite the changes. Tonight we came in looking forward to our favorite pizza. That was until one of the numerous new hires came over and said they couldn’t. She said she’d ask if someone could make it for us and the manager told her it was possible. Then we get a pizza that looks like regular old pepperoni. We try it, begrudgingly. No where near as tasty as the Milano. So, I see the manager sitting in the seating area and ask to speak to her. She says that the pizza we were given wasn’t the milano and that they didnt know how to make it. I’m beyond disappointed with the service and food selection offered now that my favorite pizza(and their most popular) is no longer around. They are 3 attempting to make us a replacement pizza that is a Milano, not so sure I trust them… will update shortly.

So yummy! We did the 2 for $ 20 and it was an amazing deal! Get the bread rather than salad! Pizza was super yummy and the husband enjoyed his calzone! The included dessert at the end is a perfect end to the meal! Very family friendly! We will be back soon!

We’re kind of torn between 3&4 stars for Firehouse Pizza so we’re going to give them the benefit of the indecision and go with 4 stars. We actually didn’t get pizza. My husband loves calzones so we ordered the Cajun and he really liked it a lot. Some parts of it were kind of black and he said it tasted scorched. Not so burnt that he couldn’t eat it and he still said it was really good so it must not have been bad. One thing you should be aware of if you order one is that there are 3 sizes of calzone. This is not listed on the online menu and the girl who took my order on the phone didn’t ask what size I wanted. They made a small which was still pretty good sized. His was with sausage and he said it had an ok amount but could have had more. I got the Cajun pasta with seafood. It was also pretty darn good but not amazing. There was a thick layer of cheese on top which sounds good but was a little too brown leaning to black. Once I peeled that off the pasta below was creamy and tasty. I liked the Cajun sauce quite a bit. It also came with a big salad which I’ll be having for lunch tomorrow. I am posting pictures of both dishes

I love this place! I’ve been eating at Firehouse since my college days(at their Logan location). So glad they came to Layton. The focaccia bread is the best. I haven’t come across a pizza I didn’t really like — they are all so tasty!!! Be sure to try their«fazookie»(a giant cookie baked in a cast iron skillet).

Pizza was under cooked, dough under the topping was uncooked. Wings were soggy. Won’t be back.

I got some food to go staying at a nearby hotel. The food was ready quickly and the service was good. They do not have their beer/wine license yet, so no tasty adult beverages were available. It is Utah after all…

Wanted to try this place out after hearing some positive reviews from some coworkers. The service was great. I am terrible with remembering my servers names, but this servers was literally the best that I have experienced in Layton. She recommended that we try the Foccacia appetizer and it didn’t disappoint. Great texture. Then we ordered the Spicy BBQ Chicken Pizza. It was some of the best pizza that I have had since moving to Utah. It really wasn’t spicy. It had the right kick. We did not try the FH’zzookie but it did look enticing. All in all, great place for a decent price. We ordered an appetizer, side salad, bread sticks and a large pizza for under 20 bucks. It always appeared that they had Daily Specials, so that might make more affordable depending on the day. We will definitely be heading back.

Great place for a lunch with co-workers or a date night. Not super fancy, but definitely has character. Good menu options, friendly staff, all in all a good experience! Don’t forget to try to FH’zzookie ;)

This is some of the best pizza I have had in Utah. What a little gem at the center of a bunch of hotels. This is an excellent place to grab a pizza while on business trip or if you live in the area. The BBQ chicken pizza is amazing! I will for sure make a trip back.

Great stuff! My wife loved the Firehouse in Logan when she went to USU, so we were pretty excited to see one open around the corner. We weren’t huge fans of the Firehouse in Centerville that closed, but this one is as good as Logan. The pizza was great, and our waitress was really friendly and accommodating. The only reason we didn’t give five stars was the smoke. Something’s wrong with their oven good or something. It was bad enough that our eyes were stinging and we had to change clothes when we got home. They had to open the door next to our table to air out the restaurant, which made it a little chilly. We’ll definitely be back, but I hope they get that fixed!

Maybe I caught them on a bad night but my pizza was misshapen; as if they tried to move it while the dough was raw. When I got home I found pieces of char in the wrinkled bottom crust. There are to many good pizza places in the area to risk this place again…
