The service was fast, but the clerk wasn’t very personable. I took the shoes home that she recommended and got blisters in the back of my heels.
Upon returning the shoes the next day, I was told there is no refund or credit; only exchange, so buyers beware, don’t get stuck with an expensive pair of running shoes that you can’t get a refund for!

I used to buy my shoes there, but after my recent experience, I will not be going back. I walked in the door and a man was behind the counter talking to a male customer about sports. I was not greeted, even when I walked past the counter to the back to look at their Spenco sandals. The 2 men just kept on with their conversation like I didn’t even exist. After a few minutes of browsing, I decided to leave. .still absolutely no comment from the man behind the counter. No greeting, no offer of help, and no goodbye. I will go out of my way and drive down to St. Pete from now on.

Poor poor customer service. I walked into the store with high expectations and was let down. I walked into the store and started looking around. After about a minute, the store clerk came out from the back. She said hello and welcome, then returned to the back of the store. She was not professional at all– playing with her hair and she kept running to the back. I came in need of shoes and nothing was explained to me. Where the low impact was, support, where even which was the men’s or woman’s ! I came to get expert advice and top of the line running shoes– but I will be traveling to Tampa for this now.

Great customer service including very knowledgeable staff. She watched me walk and do other foot related actions before prescribing the right kind of shoe for my feet. My niece recommended this store to me and has said the results for her running habits have been impressive. Any unnecessary soreness and foot/​leg issues were resolved via the shoe recommendation at the American Running Company. I highly recommend this place

The Owners, the Staff, and the Following haven’t changed. New runners are coming in all the time and the new store is larger and rocking! ARC has organized a yearly run series, team, weekly training runs, and special events! Their proper sizing for runners shoes has been recognized and experienced by area runners. More importantly, they treat you like you’re a part of the ARC Team. Their service doesn’t stop with their in-​house inventory. They will special order the right shoe for you. Yes, I’m a huge fan!
