Surprise. We are from Canada and tried this place for dinner as it was very close walk to hotel. Salad and burger were awesome and very friendly staff.

Our server Julio was amazing. I forgot to ask for a water with my coffee, but he brought one without my asking. I overheard Rick, the manager on duty, tell another table that it was Julio’s day off and he had been called in to help. Great service, wonderful attention from both Julio and Rick. They both handled the Sunday crowd without breaking a sweat and with smiles on their faces. We always come for biscuits and gravy when we’re close to a Bob Evans, and it was amazing as usual!

The best service and really good food. The coffee was also really good. Our server Rachael was so nice and helpful and the food came out fast. We walked over from the Marriott cause they didn’t have a lot of breakfast options and we were happily surprised at the quality. Not sure about the reviews before mine but I had a good experience.

Every meal has its positives and negatives. My visit here was not an exception. Overall it was worth the stop and I enjoyed my meal. Because of this being a chain there is not much new on the environment. They are all pretty much setup the same. I did notice that some rearrangements had taken place since my last visit and it has been a while. When I think of Bob Evans environment I think of functional restaurant with a diner type counter with decent food. I was quickly greeted and seated. I chose to set at the counter which is a great seat in any restaurant if you like hustle and bustle around you. Sometimes I like that sometimes I want a place with a book or my computer. It was overall slow being New Year’s Day and I was a little disappointed that nobody was behind the counter and it took a few moments before someone asked if I had been helped. It wasn’t a real long wait before I was helped and it had given me time to decide what I wanted. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Farmers Choice with eggs, bacon, hash-browns, and pancakes; asking if the pancakes were smaller ones. The waitress explained that the pancakes were three large ones and after discussing the size she suggested I ordered a Sunrise and pancakes which was less food and less money. Very good call. I appreciated her input. The breakfast came out made to order with the exception that I got sausage instead of bacon. I am typically not over picky about breakfast food as long as it is prepared properly but it should be noted that this is consistent with some of the other reviews. The eggs were perfectly medium, the hash-browns and pancakes were golden, and the sausage had just a mild hint of spice which was not over powering. The waitresses call on this order was excellent as it was not too much. I can definitely see some areas that could be improved but known of them hindered my enjoyment.

I just ate here last week — before that, I hadn’t been here or any Bob Evan’s since probably 2004. As you can see, «It’s been a looooong ass time» since I’ve been here like Neal E said. I ate here because I received a coupon in the mail and they recently renovated the interior/exterior. Plus they added a bakery, which I can’t resist!(I guess they’re trying to be like Perkins) I decided to just get pancakes for my main dish. They were good — just your classic pancakes. Our server was good and the staff were attentive and nice, except I saw one employee sneak behind the register to go on their phone. For dessert I had a slice of pumpkin pie which was very good. The bakery was small but they had a good variety and it looked fresh. They had free Wi-Fi but it didn’t work. Overall, it was pretty good. I’ll be back.

I travel on business all over, and I have to say, this is a good restaurant. It’s clean, the food is good and the staff goes out of their way to make you happy. Why the bad reviews, Im not sure because I am definitely picky, but this is Bob Evans– not the Capital Grill. It’s good, guilty-pleasure food. Quick, clean and fills your belly.

Friendly staff and good food. However, they messed our order up at least two times. I think they try hard but fail over and over. Come at your own risk.

Our server, Laura, was very forgetful. I ordered my daughter a childs milk, which comes with a lid, she forgot the straw. I ordered coffee, she never brought a pot, just one cup. When it was empty I set it on the end of the table and after several attempts to get more, she finally says«Oh, I thought I brought you a pot.» No apology just came back about 5 mins later with a pot of coffee. By then we were done and ready for the bill. That is the only thing she managed to bring in a timely manner. I ordered the cobb salad. It wasn’t really a cobb, it was a house salad with bacon. Very disappointed. I grew up eating at Bob’s Evans and loved it and am very sad that is was such a bad experience.

My follow up visit here was less the pleasureable. This time I wanted breakfast at lunch and hubby wanted lunch so he got a chicken sandwich with bacon on a ciabatta roll and I got eggs over easy with hash browns. Eggs came out with the whites running all over the plate when I cut into them and got sent back only to be replaced with the same eggs cooked crispy brown and half over hard. By this point hubby is halfway through the sandwich and Im starving so I’ll just pick the good parts and have the hasbrowns. Hashabrowns looked good, tasted burnt. I gave up. Hubby didn’t fare too much better as his chicken was cooked too quickly and was tough with the bacon being like my eggs, half raw, half overcooked. We also waited 30 mins for this disaster to be served. The server asked if my eggs were any better(obviously not I didn’t eat them) and when I said«No they’re not» all he said was sorry and dropped the bill and ran off. And that is why I don’t go to Bob Evans. I should have known the one good visit was a fluke!

This was a horrible experience. First, we had to wait five minutes to be seated which would be fine if it was a full dining room but there were maybe 3 parties in the whole place and the one waitress and the hostess were behind the counter and refused to acknowledge that we were even there. Second, the table was sticky and smelled of pee. The hostess who sat us was rude and you could tell she didn’t want to be there. I understand that this isn’t an upscale expensive place, but servers need to remember that tips are earned not expected. Third, the food just sucked. Denny’s has better food than this place. I am hoping that other locations are far better than this one but due to this locations experience I will not find out.

Breakfast at Bob Evans brings back fond memories of my childhood. My dad and I had a very friendly server(Ericka I think). She spent time talking with us and brought our meal piping hot. Their biscuits are fantastic, and when mixed with sausage– Mmmmm!(patties were better than links). She also added tomatoes to my side of cottage cheese(gratis). Clean, delicious, friendly staff.

Typical diner food, reminded me of Denny’s. Took me forever to order cuz i wasn’t craving anything on their menu. Ended up with the fire Chicken Salad. It was a good size, and tasty enough. Biscuits were the way i liked it. The cheese bit appetizers were only okay… definitely enough to share. Desserts didn’t even strike my fancy either. Would have ordered apple pie, but they only have the version that uses aspartame(artificial sweetener). Food: 3 stars Service: 3.5 Ambiance: 2 stars Overall: 3 star

I give 2 stars for the very friendly and attentive waitresses working there, they are really hard working people. As far as food is concerned, yuk. I had flunders with steamed veggies with side of pumpkin bread. They all sounded great on menu but that’s as far as they go. Bread was super moist and almost felt like uncooked. Flunders tasted like frozen food. Veggies were okay, but very small portion. It’s inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. I think there’s reason why the place is so empty all the time.

I hit Bob Evan’s up for Breakfast my last day in Florida. It’s been a looooong ass time since I’ve been in a BE. I asked to sit at the bar. I wanted something light after the huge dinner of the evening before. I ordered the Spinach, Bacon, & Tomato Benedict. When it arrived, I noted that was served over a split open biscuit as opposed to an English muffin. Call me a traditionalist on this — but I was not a fan of the way the biscuit worked out in this dish. The bacon was saltier than it needed to be — and it tended to detract from the overall quality of the dish. Finally, the home fries, or hash browns that came with it — were a little underdone for my taste.
