The grilled shrimp I had was seasoned perfectly, not overly spicy. The rice was well cooked, also perfectly seasoned and not too dry or soggy. Perfectly steamed broccoli rounded out my dinner making the food all five star. However, the restaurant was so horribly LOUD I had to mark the dining experience down to four.

I went there for the first time with a large group of friends, not knowing what to expect. It was a pleasant evening, so we selected outdoor seating. We both had the Texas Tea cocktail without the extra shot of alcohol and found it to be just the right mix of sweet and lemony. It’s a fairly large drink and one was enough for us. Patrons are restricted to two of these babies because of the alcohol content, so keep that in mind when ordering them. I had a small sirloin steak(6 oz.) with a loaded baked potato and fresh steamed broccoli and hubby had Chicken Alfredo. My steak was fine, cooked perfectly and surprisingly was not chewy. The Alfredo was as good as it gets when not ordered from an authentic Italian restaurant. The party was large enough for me to not remember what everyone else ordered, but everyone was pleased with their choices, all food was consumed, and nothing was sent back to the kitchen for any reason. Two members of my party had dessert, the rest of us were too full. They ordered the Key Lime Pie and said it was wonderful. I can attest that it looked wonderful, so much so, that I took a photo of it as they dug in. The prices are quite reasonable, most items are $ 12 and under, and they give nice portions. its definitely a great family place. i look forward to eating there again!

My Wife and I dine here at least once a week. We have been loyal patrons for several years and the more times you go here, you kinda figure out the crowd problem. On Fridays, especially after 5:00pm this place rocks. I think all the mobile home residents empty out and hit here right smack at 5:00pm, then the after work folks hit. On Sunday’s, right after church, 11:00am is another busy time. Unfortunately there are no reservations, so you have to get creative. You can sit in the lounge, which is first come/first served(the table may still be messy from the last persons there. but what the hell, at least you do not have to wait an hour for a table!) OR you can sit at the outside patio(again conditions are about the same as the lounge), and the only drawback here is you have to deal with the smokers. These 2 options are available as the wait times can get up to near 1 hour for inside dining. Now the food. Lot’s of food for a little price. My faves are the Talapia Alexander, Blackened Catfish dinner, Shepherds Pie, and the Buffalo Style Chicken Tenders. The servers really bust their asses and earn their pay. It makes sense that sometimes when it gets busy that the food takes a little longer to get to you, that’s why you load up on the appetizers… chips and spinach queso dip I recommend, or the chicken caesar pasta salad served with a glazed croissant. Average bill for the 2 of us is approximately $ 45.00,without alcoholic drinks. You also have to ask for water as it is not offered up. Also be prepared for higher than average noise levels, large crowds + confined space = you get the picture. Overall, your experience will vary, but ours 99% of the time is positive.

Went out with the family as a party of 12. Wait was about 30 minutes on a Saturday so not bad at all. Wait staff was great. I ordered the lemon chicken which was very mediocre, Mac n cheese was a nice side. I tasted the Cajun pasta which was delicious. Will be back to order the pasta. Overall great night.

The chicken tenders are bomb. They also make this drink called the pain killer which you’re only allowed to have 2 of. It’s so good! They also make a really good baked potato soup!

Tortilla Soup… not so good. Crispy chicken salad, chicken, ice burg lettuce and cherry tomatoes. Could have had a little more veggies. But all in all it was ok. Service was fine, nothing to write home about. The croissants are to die for. Yumm

I have never had a bad meal here. My Mom loves this place and the prices are reasonable. Similar to your local Applebee’s but the only difference is more care and thought is put into the food. A must have is the Pasta Orleans and the homemade key lime pie. Worth the trip just for pie. The steaks are delicious also! Enjoy! Ask for Katherine she is the best and nicest server ever!

First of all let me start off with the one, and the only thing about this place it appeared to be good because many people came here, and obviously that is not the case which is apparent here, the food was bland, the soda was uncarbonated, the tap wasn’t fresh, and the service took forever, not really recommended

Wonderful place! I don’t see how they can do it for the price. We’ve been coming here for three and a half years and haven’t had a bad meal yet. Our favorite place to eat in Florida!

Well hot damn! This meal exceeded my expectations by a long shot. I walked in thinking«Applebee’s or Chili’s type food,» and I couldn’t have been more wrong. This is a straight up American and southern American comfort food joint, nothing fancy or experimental going on here. Burgers, sandwiches, casseroles, fried chicken, steaks, spaghetti, etc. There were 7 of us, and most ordered burgers. I wanted one myself, but I saw a picture of the chicken fried chicken via the Unilocal app before ordering and I was SOLD! So thank you Sally M. for that glamorous shot. The meal was great. Two large chicken breasts cooked to perfection, tender, juicy and toothsome as all get out. Wonderfully lumpy scratch-made mashed potatoes and a white gravy that would make my grandma see Cheddar’s as possible competition. The green beans were okay, but nothing spectacular. The broccoli casserole side that La Chica got with her bourbon-glazed salmon was a much better side option. And in case you’re wondering, of course I took a bite of her slammin’ salmon – very good! The only disappointing meal on the table was the«world-class chicken sandwich.» After eating it, my son opined, «There was nothing „world-class“ about that. I should have gotten a burger.» For dessert, I got a slice of Key Lime pie to go. I didn’t take a picture, but I can assure you that it was spot-freaking-on. Additionally, it was a quarter of the pie. Easily the biggest slice of pie I’ve ever eaten. We went on a Saturday night, had no parking issues and no wait to be seated. Staff was friendly, and my only complaint is that they didn’t make my brother’s meal, so we were all completely finished eating by the time it arrived. They made it right by not charging him for his meal, and he ate it in 5 minutes, so it all worked out in the end.

Probably one of our favorites since they opened in this location. It has become a tradition to meet with my mother in law here to meet. Atmosphere is comfortable, at times louder than norm. It’s versatile, we can enjoy the bar or family sit down. The lighter choices menu offers some tasty treats such as Buffalo Chicken wrap. Allows you to be naughty without killing the calorie intake and an allowance for a nice glass of wine. Love the Ultimate Lunch choice, on his deal.

We live close by and used to love the Cheddar’s in Mt. Juliet were we use to live. It’s Friday night so obviously very crowded. They sat us in section that has 2 parties in it. One table with about 10 people, and the other with about 18. Experience(as a patron and working at restaurants) tells me that, other than the obvious noise, food quality drops drastically when that happens as cooks struggle to get all the food out for that table at the same time, and other orders are either rushed through, or die in the window as they are ignored being the mountain of plates for the party. This is a good test of a kitchen, but let’s keep an open mind. Our waitress Tiffany was very nice, friendly and helpful. She said she would put our order in before party which she did. Very nice. We ordered the Texas cheese fries, and the grown up grilled cheese. I usually have the Monte Cristo but wanted to try something new. Had a Caesar salad for my side. We ordered before the big party so our food got out fast. The Texas cheese fries were great as expected. No complaints there. The grilled cheese had roast beef in it, which tasted very bland and over cooked. The worst part was the cheese. It was sliced cheese which was by far not high end to say the least. Caesar salad was fine. Not bad, not great. The croissant on salad was awesome and sadly the best part of the meal. Not sure we will return. Not good enough for the price and so many other great choices with a 3 mile radius.

Every time I pass by Cheddar’s it’s always packed! I had to check it out myself. I believe I went on a Sunday and yes, it was packed for lunch time. The service was good and the server’s attitude was excellent! The food isn’t the type of food I really enjoy, heavy and fried food. average American food. The flavors isn’t that bad, but I did find the pasta to be too salty. The onion rings were highly suggested and I don’t even like onion rings, but these were so light and crispy! Delicious and they are also super cheap for such a large pile. The Shepard’s pie was average and the Cajun pasta was pretty good, but too salty for me. The serving was a large size. I must have to say! The drinks were pretty cheap! If I were to return I would definitely go for the drinks and appetizers.

The parking lot was full, so that usually bodes well for a place. But immediately upon entering, the sharp screech of a child greeted my ears, so when we were sat, we were sat in the bar/lounge area. That was fine(for the most part) as it was quieter over all. The bar wasn’t terribly busy, but we still waited about 8 minutes until someone came by and told us they’d be right with us, first a woman and then a guy. The guy came back and took our drink orders and let us know that the bartender would be our Waitress. She came back in a moment or so and took our order for apps and mains. We ordered chips and homemade queso — with ground beef added for free, the home made(uh, more like shipped from Sysco) chicken pot pie and a bacon cheese burger. Our chips and queso came out very quickly, and they added a –LOT– of ground beef to the dip. So much so that it almost over powered the cheese. Still, it had great flavor, the chips were fresh and the salsa was both spicy and tasty. When we were more than ½ way done, the bartender said she’d bring us more chips, we waved her off, we didn’t really need more. She also brought out my salad with the chips, and that’s great, it was a fresh salad with romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, some shredded carrots and croutons. I don’t remember asking for Ranch dressing, but that’s what I got, and it was on the side, just like I like it. It also came with a honey croissant ala Hops(YUM!) We chatted and munched our way through this part of the meal, as the room seemed to grow colder and colder. We weren’t the only ones to notice the temperature drop. The table behind me complained, asking them to bump it up. Apparently they keep it cold in the lounge because the main room gets REALLY hot if the ac in the lounge goes off. It was –so– cold that there was condensation forming on the AC vent and dripping on me, on my seat and thigh. What fun. Our mains came out and as I said, they advertise that their Chicken Pot Pie is homemade, but it’s most certainly frozen and re-heated. This is not made in house, but its still tasty. The cheese burger was large and topped well, though the fries were paltry and meh looking to my eyes. Our waitress was attentive, but the temperature difference was too much. My hands were so cold they were aching. When we left we could tell how MUCH of a difference there was between the foyer and the bar area, a good 10 – 15 degrees. They really should put some effort into fixing that. It made it VERY uncomfortable to be in there for more than 15 – 20 minutes.

Great fast service from Dave. Food was really slow coming out but when it did it was awesome. I got the salmon and hubby got spicy chicken and beans on rice. Nice atmosphere and clean.

I came to this place foe the first time and immediately thought it must’ve been good since there was a long wait to get seated… and this was on a Thursday night. PROS: — very reasonably priced food — they have signature meals — delicious sides –Very good steak and ribs(they fall off the bone) — food proportions were big — menu was legit — service was good — a good spot to celebrate your birthday since they give you an enormous slice if chocolate cake(which was very good with compliment of a scoop of vanilla iced cream. CONS: — be prepared to wait long to be seated(if it’s busy) — very loud ambiance — no wifi and TVs in the dining area Overall the menu was exceptional with reasonable pricing. I’d definitely come back to try other stuff on the menu.

I think most reviews have hit this nail on the head: It’s a nice place and decent staff, but there’s a reason it’s cheap. Food was boring, bland, or coated in dressing. If they can fix the kitchen and get the servers to cheer up a bit, this place could charge more and be totally worth it. We couldn’t tell the difference between the salad with ranch and the one with blue cheese. LOL, really? Also, the salads were drenched in the mayo-based sauce they call«dressing». My Philly steak was reasonably well made, but had no seasoning and tasted pretty bland. The other entrees were nothing special. I really like the fruit-infused teas. I suppose it was OK for a lunch spot, but I wouldn’t dream of having dinner here. Hostesses were pleasant, we like the restaurant décor. It was a bit of a miracle that the waitress almost cracked a smile when my dad made a joke. She was pretty down-tone, but did an OK job refilling the drinks. Other than that, service was ‘meh’.

The stars is based totally on the food to be fair. Incredibly long wait, be prepared to stand in the waiting area –yes I said stand because even the seating in the waiting area will be full– for at least 45 minutes. I opted to order it to go. 15 – 20 minutes for them to cook the food. Atmosphere: Very popular with families and very casual. *It seems there should be a separate area for to-go customers* 2 stars because the food is greasy and will taste good but later, like within a few hours, your body will pay for it with a tummy ache that won’t go away until the food is expelled out the other end. 2 words: Monte Cristo 1 word: Bennigan’s
