Extended Stay America – St. Petersburg – Clearwater – Airport

I personally had a very good experience. Well maintained property, clean room, friendly staff and very convenient to good restaurants, shopping, beaches, etc. the only downside was the slow WiFi but you can pay additional to upgrade.

Clean and comfortable. The building isn’t very sound proof though, which can be annoying. Other than that, the staff is very helpful. Pets are allowed, which was a huge plus for us. I would recommend it to a friend for sure.

Needed to stay here just a couple of nights, this experience feels like I’m reliving my hostel jumping days back in europe. The décor of the place is something from the 1970s and the hallways smell like a mix between weird and ciggs, which is probably due to the fact that the highway a/c’s are not turned on. The night clerks are a bunch of very friendly kids that look like they’re in their early 20s except they are on their phones for most of the time, the cleaning staff I can hear their gossip from two rooms over, its a good thing i was awake but she had a question that needed answering that she felt the need to yell through the door… which was if I was staying or leaving today… and the grab and go breakfast is barely breakfast its fruit and coffee. For the same amount of money, we could’ve stayed in a better hotel, maybe one that provided shampoo and conditioner.
Would I ever stay here again? Nope

We came down here for a business/​pleasure week and chose this hotel based on the need for a kitchen. We booked two rod via their website and with 3 in one room and 2adults/​2 kids in the other. They only gave us rooms with one full size in each then said nothing with double beds for a week… yet we saw them cleaning rooms with doubles everyday. The room wasn’t horrible but not great either.
The worst part was the floors, the carpets and floors are so filthy that in 5 min of walking around barefoot our feet were black, nasty. On top of that my youngest still crawls and my son loves to play on the floor with his toys… not a good place for us. They need to seriously clean their carpets etc. never had a room that bad EVER!
Both rooms we «stocked» with 1 spoon 2 forks 2 knives and a couple plates/​bowls. The only good thing was the filter on the tap but who knows if they have ever changed it.
No clue where we had to throw garbage etc. this place was a def fend for yourself and pay $ 120 a night.

This place is pretty below average. They have mostly everything you need, but the staff is kinda bad, they don’t make beds, and you have to go to the front desk to get towels. They also don’t have complimentary shampoo, conditioner, etc. If you’re here for one or two nights, I’d say this is probably a good bet for the price, but for an extended stay, I wouldn’t come here again.

Don’t agree about very clean… passable except that I woke up to find 3 bites on my tummy, and I assume it is from someone letting their pet sleep on the bed. As I am very allergic to any kind of bite, this is a big concern so be warned about the possibility.
The front desk staff are nice there. The rooms are renovated but don’t expect to do much with what little they provide in the kitchenette.

VERY CLEAN!!! Considering that pets are allowed at this hotel, my stay was very clean and quiet. Actually I i didn’t even know that pets were allowed b/​c i booked my room an hour before I got there. But there was no barking or anything annoying. The front desk people are pretty friendly. My stovetop didn’t work, but that was because it is electric and they turned it off when they cleaned it, so I just had to switch it back on from the breaker. Not a big deal. Considering I booked this hotel when I landed in Tampa airport, the price was great! I would definitely stay here again.

Clean hotel and they allow dogs which is a plus for me. More cable channels than most hotels in the area. They also have wifi. The only down side I have was that there was a slight odor. It wasn’t smelly or anything, but just an odor. A candle took care of it quickly. The weekly rates aren’t bad either.

Well, aside from there being no outdoor area whatsoever (like a balcony, patio, etc) in order to sit and take in the beautiful Florida weather, this is a pretty decent place to stay and is very convenient to I-​275 and the St. Pete airport. Efficiency studios that come equipped with small kitchens and a decent size room, these are clean and quiet. Pets are allowed and the staff is very cheerful and quick to bring you anything you need.
