Alright, this place can be good if you come at it with the right expectations. Freddy’s is a hole in the wall TAKE-OUT place. It has a little fresh seafood market attached to it where you can get live crab, lobster, and some other fish at a decent price. I highly, highly suggest that you call ahead for take-out if you come here otherwise you’ll have to wait for the food to be prepared and the waiting area isn’t that great and it isn’t setup for people to eat there. I uploaded a picture of the menu, but there’s still a few things on there that it doesn’t list such as gyros and Philly cheese steaks. Menu here: The food is really tasty and they know how to season it well. Just about everything here is fried or deep fried. Prepare your arteries, the(delicious) grease is coming. The crab trays consist of multiple smaller crabs, and they are smothered in butter & seasoning. I liked the crab here better than many of the nearby sit-down restaurants. I also went for some tilapia w/garlic potatoes and it was good. The fish was breaded and fried with some great seasoning, then served sandwich style with lettuce, plain white bread, and tomato. I thought that the whole sandwich thing was kind of weird but it worked out okay. The potatoes were diced country style(skins on) and smothered in garlic, butter, and seasoning. I’ll say this overall. Freddy’s has some tasty food, I mean REALLY tasty. It is better than just about every other seafood restaurant around. But the place is a shack, and if you aren’t ready for the poor appearance then you might not appreciate it.
