It’s a decent place larger than it looks from the outside. They have a heavy collection of kayaks some sup boards hiking equipment etc. Think mini bass pro shop. The staff are nice the gear is all on the higher end of price don’t go expecting any deals but at least your supporting local business and can walk out of the store with what you need. They basically have everything you would need for a hike or a paddle.
One staff member made a particular jab at a hobby I enjoy but he didn’t know about I let it go but perhaps staff should keep opinions to themselves or other staff when in private.

I took a beginner kayak class and had a fun time. The instructor was an expert kayaker, with good teaching skills. The other students were also friendly.

The folks at Osprey Bay Kayaks go out of their way to answer questions, explain equipment and do everything they can to ensure you are set up for success and enjoyment with your kayak. Their in-​the-​water kayak demo sessions really helped us get clear on which type, length and brand we wanted to purchase. They even helped us figure out the best roof rack configuration for our SUV.
