Publix Super Markets

We shop here often. It’s fairly close to our apartment. They are sometimes out of stock on sale items but will gladly give you a rain check. The deli usually has fresh food and the produce quality is good.

According to my friends from up North that visit here, we are all very lucky to have Publix.
I totally agree! Publix is always my first choice for grocery shopping. I’ll gladly pay a bit more for a spotlessly clean store, professional service, and great BOGO offerings.
This is bar-​none, the BEST Publix in the East LARGO area!
They run a tight ship here. If you are a Publix fan, you will be pleased!

This is not a bad location, in the way of Publix stores, in general. That said, it is not my favorite location. Fortunately, there is another location just two blocks down East Bay that is larger, and therefore has more options.
The lack of Greenwise products irks me some, the beer selection is on the low end, and the selection of imported cheeses is near non-​existent. Though this may be due to it being a smaller location, I find it hard to shop here unless I know what I need and am sure that they have it, in a pinch.
The staff, here, are terribly friendly. They’ve worked with me and my picky demands rather well. Also, the managers seem really involved with customers and being on the floor with other employees. That’s nice to see in a chain as larger as this one.

I’m going to try to avoid this location of Publix because of the lack of FRESH food here. Got a bad taste in my mouth literally right now from having the tiniest bit of yogurt that was spoiled… yuck. The date said April 7^th but it is definitely sour. On another occasion I had a deli sub that I bit into and it was crunchy and tough, took it back and got a refund and remained hungry during lunch for trying it. Another time I used their soda machine from the deli and literally found a piece of the machinery in my cup when it got to the bottom. C’mon Publix I don’t expect things to go so wrong in a chain grocery store! Last night as it was close to closing time there was honest to God sour smell which I could not pinpoint in the produce area, I told an employee and showed them the specific area. This location is convenient for me but not worth the hassle of getting food that’s not fresh. I gave it two stars because they could see that what I was saying was legit in customer service, now I have yet something else to take back. what a waste of my time.

This Publix is decent. I don’t normally shop here for groceries but I go to the deli a lot. I go just for the chicken tenders buffalo sub. The deli is a hit or miss. The crew is either very sloppy and slow and not organized, or they are on top of everything and great. The groceries are kinda expensive as well, if you decide to shop here, just buy the stuff on sale. The floors are clean, vents are clean, most staff are nice and helpful. Not a bad place.

I enjoy Publix when I grocery shop. They have a decent selection of food stuffs and the layout of their store is easily navigated. They also don’t sell out their morals to these extreme couponer fanatics by telling them under no circumstances that they will be held to the dates and limitations of their coupons.
Aside from the slightly higher prices then their competition they are one of the best places I shop for groceries.

Except for the fact that you can call this place «Pubics» (cue 10 year old laughing hysterically here), I was not really a fan. We came here for the first time on the night we got into Florida to stock up on food and booze for the week. To our horror, they did not have liquor. They had wine and beer, but no liquor. When it’s 9 at night and you’re finally on vacation, this fact can leave you stressed out (well, it left all 6 of us a little stressed out)…we may be alcoholics? Either way, they did have fresh shark and swordfish, which was pretty awesome — but boo to no booze. And HOLY CRAP groceries are EXPENSIVE in Florida — WTF!!!

Oh man.
I miss Publix.
This location can get a bit crowded and I did prefer going to a different location.
This place is clean, well-​stocked, huge, a variety of groceries, their deli is AWESOME, their bakery is AWESOME, their produce section is AWESOME.
Publix is the best supermarket ever!

Like my review of the Gainesville, FL location, this is where you go for fried chicken, sweet ice tea, and any type of sub imaginable. Nuff said.
