As me and my boyfriend sat down to enjoy our no bueno taco, a previous taco Bueno customer came back and returned some food. She brazenly opened the taco wrapper and held out her hand to display the contents to the manager behind the counter. The manager said, «eww is that mildew?» Mind you, my boyfriend and I had just received our order of food. We said a prayer, and asked the good Lord to help us to not be sick. We are on our way back home now, we do not have any stomach upset as of yet. But I’m sure in an hour or two, we will be feeling it. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Really disappointed in the size of the bean burritos here. 1.49 each but hardly any beans. This is consistently the case. I have to say the beans and the tortilla are usually pretty good but the size is not. I have to squish the burrito to get the the beans in every part and then it’s as thin as a piece of paper. Where’s the beans?!

Just like everywhere in Texas(so it seems) Taco Bueno puts lard in their re fried beans. But they do have a black bean burrito now that is Vegetarian friendly and pretty tasty as well. I’m especially liking the cilantro lime rice that they put in it.
