I went to 2520 with three of my friends and ordered the grouper. It had no flavor and was undercooked. The garlic potatoes were terrible as well; they went a little too long in the microwave. My friend ordered a medium-well steak and it came out medium rare and burnt all around the edges. His shrimp were under seasoned and burnt. On the plus side the atmosphere was great. Might give it another try but this time I was not pleased.

First time here and gotta say I was impressed. Hubby and I ordered the mussels for our app and the ‘east meets west’(seared tuna served on a bed of rice). Both were really delicious. The mussels came with rich, white sauce… Loaded with lots of cheese. Yum! The tuna was cooked to perfection, rare just how I liked it. If you love seafood, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from. Reasonably priced, nice ambiance, great service.

The food was very good — had the salmon special, east meets west and domo arrogato — and everyone liked their food. Soup and salad weren’t particularly special but they were good still. Brownie dessert was very good. Overall a nice place to have nearby for a family dinner. Décor inside was nice, waitstaff were very nice. 2.50 draft beers on Tuesday was a good special, the draft selection was a tad small but they still had a seasonal IPA and Sweetwater 420 on tap so it was not entirely lacking. Give them a try.

Overall, very good meal. Nice ambiance, and good service. Started with the caesar salad, which was standard but good. The bread that they serve before the meal is really good. I ordered the Seafood and Cheese, which I was expecting to be like a Seafood Mac and Cheese. It wasn’t quite a mac n’ cheese, more of a cajun cream pasta with cheese, but it was delicious. Very rich. I would highly recommend it. We were too full to try the desserts, but they had several that looked great.

Happened to be in town and found this place through Unilocal. We came for lunch and were very pleased. I got a side salad and the salmon lunch entrée. It was all delicious and very reasonably priced. My side salad was only one dollar and my entrée was only ten. The waitress was very attentive and helpful. We never had an empty glass and she was around often enough to be sure we also had anything else we needed. We all left stuffed and very happy. Will definitely go again when we are in town. Wish it was closer to where we live in Huntersville, I would go all the time.

We are trying another new restaurant to us as we celebrate our youngest sons birthday by having dinner with his family. Not sure what my Doctor is going to say this week but you only live once. Now to the restaurant. We were seated and waited on immediately and the appetizers were brought out in a timely fashion. We had the Spanakapita and the Onion Straws and both were delicious. The Soup Du Jour was Tomato Basil and it was very good as well. We got a variety of entrees and they all looked and tasted great. The early pace of the meal was very fast but the entrees were brought out after an appropriate amount of time to allow us to enjoy the appetizers and soup. Overall a good experience and we will be back.

I had never heard of 2520 Tavern until some of my coworkers decided to go here for lunch. I’m so glad they made that decision! This place is incredible! Their lunch menu is delightfully priced, and serves up some of my favorite types of dishes. I ordered the East Meets West. This is a large piece of Ahi Tuna served over rice, sugar peas and red peppers. It was so so sooo great. Everything about it was perfect. I think I’ve made my point. The service was equally as flawless. We were seated at the bar area and our waitress attended to every table in a desirable amount of time. The décor here is also nice. They have plenty of seating for large parties as well. They had drink specials posted, but since I had to go back to work I chose to skip those. I will definitely be returning here. You can’t beat it!

2520 exceeded my expectations for dinner tonight! My husband and I went tonight with my family before heading to Tanglewood, Festival of Lights. We had made a reservation, and when we arrived, the table was set with menus on it for our party of 5. We were greeted promptly and friendly, and the waitress brought our drink orders quickly. She was nice, and gave us a few extra minutes to look at the menu. At first glance, the menu doesn’t look like it has that much on it, but the more you look, the more you find. I was originally going to go with a burger or sandwich, and then I found the Dockside(seafood) part, and then I found the specialties, which included the Salmon Piccata that I ordered. My husband ordered the Seafood and Cheese pasta. My sister got the popcorn shrimp. My dad also got the Salmon Piccata, and my mom ordered the Seafood Pasta. When our dishes came out, we were overwhelmed! There was soooo much food! My salmon fillet was huge, and on top of lots of broccoli. My husband’s Seafood Cheese pasta was in a dish, mixed with seafood and cheese, and then baked. Everyone else loved their meals! We all had leftovers!(Well, except my dad.) I was honestly very, very surprised by the amount of food we got for the price. The service was great, and the waitress even brought out extra rolls(which have this herbed butter-yum!) Everything was so good! I’m upset I’d waited this long to eat here! We will definitely be back!
