Not worth the $ 85 a night… probably more in the $ 60 range. Good Wi-Fi. Nice TV with good stations. Comfortable King bed. Reasonable work space. Bathrooms look half updated. Nice mirror and fixtures but Bad shower nozzle and no fan. Air conditioning unit in the room was glitchy. Even when I turned it off completely because I got too cold it would turn on and off again from time to time with cold air. Bad location! The access street is very close to an on\off ramp making traffic patterns hard to navigate. Virtually impossible to turn left from access street onto main road during peak traffic times. Hallways are dark. Just feels old and weird. Breakfast was hot but not very good. Lean selection. Little healthy options other than fruit.

I stayed here as part of a wedding and attended a reception at the adjoining events center. The hotel appears to be an older hotel… no elevator, small staff, and semi worn interior. Overall the room was ok. Upon entering, there was a strong smell of paint and the carpet felt somewhat damp. I didn’t have the most comfortable sleep but the hotel isn’t as pricey as many of the nearby options. I did enjoy the setup of the events center.

I had to attend a conference here in March. I reserved a room in December as soon as the conference registration was confirmed. The day before the conference I get an email from the Inn telling me my reservation had been moved to a Super 8 across the street. I booked a room at the Inn because that’s where the conference was being held and as a vendor we had a booth setup there — and didn’t want to have to carry booth items very far. When i called to ask why my reservation was being cancelled and moved to a different hotel — the ‘very friendly & knowledgeable’ front desk clerk provided a lame excuse about just receiving a PO for a block of rooms for government attendees??? My room was reserved on a credit card 3 months prior. Do yourself a favor, if you have the option — keep driving right on past the Village Inn to Greensboro and stay at the Grandover. It is infinitely cleaner, nicer, with better facilities, golf, and a professional and courteous staff. Oh yeah — and the understand the concept of a RESERVATION!

Hotel is clean and room is very nice. Only complaint I have is that when I checked in the front desk woman was on the phone and did not acknowledge my presence for a good 20 minutes– then acted like she wanted to rush through the check in process so she could get back to her TV show. She apparently also checked another guest into the same room as mine because about an hour after I got into my room– someone was banging on my door saying that they had also been put into room 142. I kindly told then through the door to go back to the front desk as I was already booked in. The rest of staff has been exceptional and stay has been great so far. I hope to take advantage of the pool when the weather is nice tomorrow.

Stayed here for 3 nights, hotel is clean abd staff is very friendly. Ney room came with a mini fridge and microwave, and the fridge was actually a little bigger than most. Bed was comfy I slept great. Room also has a desk with a coffee maker… It’s all very standard but great quality. Hotel has a pool which was a plus, also has a laundry room but it’s coin operated. other than that I enjoyed my stay here, I would come back.

We stayed here for our 20th anniversary. It was only 50 bucks on . The place wasn’t luxury but it was clean and very nice for the price. Big room .I am surprise this place is not more popular. It has a beautiful bar and restaurant called The Crosby. It is behind the Wilco or cut through Kmart parking to get to it. It has a lot of banquet rooms to do weddings or special events. I would go back and we are thinking on maybe doing our 25th there so people can drink and stay :)

The beds were not the softest, but otherwise everything was great — Clean — Good value.
