Delish food. Fresh and great presentation. Waiter is cool and suggested a great plate. I’d come back.

Good for Mexican food and the décor is awesome. Very friendly staff it has kinda of semi private booths with high backs so it leads to a great food experience.

We always stop here for great Mexican food on the way from the Nature Coast to Orlando. The best dish is the molcajete, a spicy meat and veggie stew served with tortillas. This is authentic Mexican food, so they use real Mexican cheese and spicy peppers. Margaritas are good, too.

One server got our drinks, another brought chips and salsa. Over ten minutes later we were still sitting with menus in front of us while other tables that arrived later had ordered. No apology, no one tried to make it right. They acted as if they didn’t care we were leaving when we got up. That makes two Mexican restaurants in Clermont that don’t care about their customers.

This place is ok. The service was very good, but the food is just ok. I will try again, another item to see if they can change my mind. Missing good Mexican food.

My husband and I tried this place for a last minute date night on a Friday. We got different types of enchiladas. Normally I’m not a picky eater but I couldn’t eat even half of mine because it was terrible. The chips weren’t even good. The service was also horrendous. Our waitress sat down at a booth with other service people and ignored us for long stretches of time. We will not be giving this place a second try.

This is a fantastic authentic Mexican restaurant when you’re sick to death of Taco Bell and the like. My family and I really enjoy coming here. Everyone is very friendly and the portions are large enough that you can always take some home after. I couldn’t decide between the pineapple fajita quesadilla or the straight up pineapple fajitas, the waiter was awesome and advised me to go with the fajitas because they were packed with more flavor. I’m glad he helped me! It comes with one plate stuffed with chicken, peppers, onions and grilled pineapple cubes and the other plate is your rice, beans, sour cream, guacamole, lettuce and pico. The rice was a little dry and bland but everything else was fantastic! The meal also comes with chips and salsa which is very good. We paid extra for queso but I don’t recommend it. It takes like queso from a jar and still had chunks of unmelted cheese in it. We also got fried ice cream for dessert which was very good! If they ask you if you prefer a booth or table, choose the table. The booths are really small and tight. It will make any person large or small claustrophobic.

Amazing Food! Great Service! Extremely Friendly! I love going to Ay Jalisco! A great family restaurant, also great for hanging out with friends or for a fun date. My family & I love Ay Jalisco and would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves authentic Mexican food! Only Con is that it can be very busy sometimes so waiting take a while depending on the day. It’s a small but amazing establishment and they are just starting up so patience is recommended for this place because it’s extremely worth the wait!

Only margarita was either 2 for 1 crap for $ 6.00 or $ 12.00+ margaritas. Server did not care and food was mediocre at best. The server acted as though I knew nothing about tequila or Mexican food …, that’s fine by me as I’ll drive to Tijuana flats and Moes is opening soon bye bye! ay caramba!!! Never again

Great food, atmosphere and staff. Just be careful NOT to ask for some cilantro, guacamole, creama, tortillas, etc. They charge you a nice penny for the littlest things you would expect to be included with any meal.

Ay Caramba… the guacamole comes from a pre-packaged container, the chips come from a box(tasted the cardboard residue) and the service was rigid and completely inflexible. Hardly the characteristics of a real family-owned restaurant. My burrito was hardly a burrito but fajita meat wrapped in a tortilla and showered with cheese… more like an over-sized wannabe enchilada… truly nothing authentic here but maybe the tequila… but i refused to find out because it was over priced. To the good people of Clermont, why do you punish yourselves?

AMAZING food. Every year we visit from MA and we always make it a point to stop in for some good authentic Mexican! I tried the ground beef chimichanga and it was delicious. My boyfriend had the steak chipotle burrito and he loved it. Big portions and lunch prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Actually the entire time we were here we listened to two other customers sit and rave about the place. They were both from out of town. It was pretty funny… and slightly annoying after like 5 minutes. :)

First time at this restaurant and we were not impressed. First the server asked about an appetizer and then walked away before getting our drink order then never brought out the app. The order we placed came back wrong and we tried to tell the server about it but he walked away. We got the check and noticed the order was correct on the check with the exception of the app. Tried once again and asked for a manager or someone in charge but kept saying no one there. The server kept saying it was not his fault but the kitchen. The food was mediocre at best. We love Mexican food but this place was awful! Normally would give a new place a second chance but this place is beyond redemption! Don’t not bother!

The food here is always so good! The service we had the other night was awesome. Everyone is really friendly here and our chip and salsa supply was constantly being refilled. There are huge portions, huge margaritas, and so much to choose from. The food is always hot, very good tasting, and prepared just perfectly. No complaints here! This is a must visit place if in the area and craving Mexican food.

I’ve been here a few times and have never had a bad drink here. Their margaritas amazing and today I had the Mojito Diablo enjoyed it as well. The flower flautas are enjoyable I haven’t had anything different but will be trying new things next time.

Service was good, food was ok. Chips and salsa= chips were burnt, salsa tasted like it had marinara in it? Yuck. Pineapple fajitas= unique dish, I got with shrimp… thought the shrimp was a bit overseasoned but otherwise, yummy. The rice that came with the meal was dry and not good. Seafood trio enchiladas were tasty and priced right. $ 3 house strawberry margarita was on special and also good. It is not on my «never return» list but it is def not a top mexican restaurant.

This was our first time at this restaurant. We will be back! Omar was a fabulous server! He will keep you laughing. Loved the Mexican burrito with chicken. Our food was served very quickly and great salsa with chips as soon as we sat down.

This place was pretty good. I ordered a beef burrito special. It was really meaty and tasty, and had some kind of pickled pepper topping on the side that I really liked. My wife ordered a mexican pizza, which she hated. It sounds like a strange complaint, but it had too much cheese on it, which killed the crispness. So we switched food, and everyone was happy, her more so than me. The salsa was good, and different than a lot of places.
