We waited over an hour for our food and the restaurant is half empty? Never again!!!

Just moved to the area. Wanted some food and decided to have take out. The first time I went it was good only thing was not enough sauce on the buffalo chicken sandwich. So I go again and it was seriously disgusting. They said 15 minutes and it took 50 minutes. There was black stuff everywhere not sure what it was. The bun was suppose to be a Kaiser roll and they gave me a kids hamburger bun. The fries were cold. I will never eat here again.

I came with my husband and friends from out of town and was very disappointed. We had fried pickles and buffalo shrimp as our appetizer and they were really good but our lunch was cold so, the manager took the meal off bill. Service was a bit slow, had to ask the hostess and server for silver wear and app plates. I used to love Gators Dockside but I don’t think I’d visit again in the future.

We went to both location. They both were great.
Really good wings. Fried shrimp platter was very good. Lotsa food, couldn’t finish it. My husband had the French dip, very good. Good happy hour.
Staff very friendly. Brad the bartender was very nice.

Normally I love this location. The atmosphere is great. The staff is good and the food is great. But tonight was horrible
The food was good as usual but the service received from Randi was absolutely the worst we have ever had. Drinks never got refilled it took forever to have our «all you can eat» wings refilled. And after dropping off the check she didn’t come back for another 15 minutes.
I don’t like to talk bad about a place. But when the service gets this low it concerns me to consider coming back again.

Love coming to gators management is awesome and food is always done they way you like it and if it is wrong, they correct it no problem. Great drink specials and big menu so there is something for everyone.

Hubby and I were looking for a sports bar for lunch today, and Gators more than fit the bill! I had the Philly cheesesteak and Hubby had the shrimp dinner. Both entrees were excellent! Our waitress Randi was very accommodating and nice! If you are looking to watch the game, while enjoying lunch, this is the place! Next time, we’ll try the Gator entrees…

For sports bars this isn’t my favorite place to go but it’s close by and they do a great all you can eat wing special on Monday nights. The whole place is decked out in wood paneling with booths, tables and high tops. There is carpet in some areas but each time I’ve been here it looks like it hasn’t been vacuumed in days. There are many TVs but they are not very large. I like that they will change the channels for you! The service is hit or miss. I will say that our waitress was very good this time around and knowing we were doing the wings she made sure to ask us often if we wanted to put another order in.
We ordered beer in one of the 100+ ounce «pitchers» which is great! I wish more places had this to offer when dining in large groups and I like that they don’t limit it to bud or Miller products so that we could get it with Yuengling. Again the all you can eat wings are a huge draw to come here. They have a lot of flavors and you can mix and match each order. I love the sweet Thai chili! But with it being all you can eat they use really small wings and could definitely use more sauce.
Overall if you wanna watch a game and eat wings without having to pay too much, this is where you should go.

Horrible customer service! Ordered Parmesan garlic wings — when the ordered arrived the wings were covered in a red type sauce — after tying one it was clear the sauce was a mild hot sauce with garlic Parmesan. Gave the place the benefit of the doubt and asked the server about the sauce and mentioned it wasn’t garlic Parmesan at all. Server said he would get us a new batch of wings — within 5 min we had a new order… or so we thought. When we counted the wings, all they had done was take our old wings and toss them in the same sauce and put them on a new plate. Asked to speak to the server again, after expressing our concerns that this was a true garlic Parmesan sauce the only response we got from the server was «well, that’s our sauce.» Bottom line — false advertising on their menus — garlic Parmesan sauce is typically yellow/​clear in color — not red. If your garlic Parmesan sauce is going to be a mild hot sauce — advertise it that way in your menu or make sure your sever tells the customer that.
The only reason I am rating this as a two star is because the manager did come out after several minutes to talk with us.

I’m only giving it a two stars because they do have good wings. I ordered the cob salad and it was gross. My lettuce was wilted and some of it was black. The avocado was brown and bitter. My daughter has to eat gluten free and we informed them of that. She ordered chicken and mixed vegetables with a salad. She got chicken and broccoli (the other choice) and they brought out her salad with croutons.
After speaking with the Manager he has spoken to his staff to fix the problems that arose.

Went for lunch on Monday, party of 9. We were the only customers in the place. Took over an hour to get the food. Wings were very tasty but cold. Fries were also cold. I guess the cook can’t handle big parties. I wouldn’t recommend it if you want to eat.
After we ate we walked around a little as we were heading to our car the manager came out to ask about our review. He asked us to come back so they could make it up to us. We talked a lil bit, we will be back to give them another chance.
As I said before the wings were very good.

Great food! Never a let down!
We’ve been to Gators too many times to count and each time the service has been great. We love Bingo night on Wednesdays but rarely get to make it anymore. A great chance to score free food and have fun!
The food is always good. We usually order the Onion Petals for an appetizer and they have some nice cajun sauce for dipping! Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Monte Crisco, and a bowl of Chili for our entrees.
I highly recommend all of the above with a side of their seaside fries (?) if they still have them.
We eat at Gators Dockside quite frequently and have visited many other locations such as Gainesville, The Villages, & Dr. Philips. We’re trying to visit them all as each Gators has a slightly different atmosphere & menu!

Wings are pretty good and fried pickles are the best. They use thick cut pickles so you get a lot and it’s crunchy and juicy. Atmosphere is homey and staff are friendly. Beer selection is good.

Food was great sports bar food. The nachos were really good!
All you can eat wings are worth the crowd! It’s a chain so you know what to expect when you dine here.

First visit and we enjoyed every bite! Plenty to choose from and the kids loved theirs too. Lots of specials for the weekday evenings and drink specials. Worth us going back many times.

Had a terrible experience here last night. Waitress must have been new because she messed up 3 of the 4 order’s placed. Never asked what toppings I wanted on my hamburger nor did she ask me how rare I wanted it. The sauce that came with the gator bits was honey mustard sauce… not impressed. Will not return!

I’m very happy with my order and experience this time! I stopped by for some gator and beer and the bites were 100% better than my last experience. Great improvement Gators!

This was my first time to this location. I didn’t realize how huge this place is! It doesn’t look that big from the outside. Tons of seating! When we came, it was right after work and was practically empty. We all ordered different kinds of wings. Some of my co-​workers got the all you can eat wings. I would have, but I don’t think I could eat $ 12 worth of wings. lol I got 10 boneless wings instead. I was full afterwards and it cost less than $ 6.
We also had shots of tequila after a rough day. Sometimes I forget that you have to spell everything out and asked for it chilled. Warm tequila is not the way to go. Price was ok at $ 4.50 a shot.
If you’re in the mood for wings, head here. There are a few tvs with sports on, but it’s not overwhelming.

This spot is a great family oriented sports bar. I ordered the gator tail which was perfectly fried, light, and golden. Quick tip: add hot sauce to the honey-​mustard sauce that comes with the dish. You won’t be disappointed. I also had loaded fries that were pretty good, slightly better then Alehouse’s loaded fries. Plus 10 wings — 5 Gator’s Scooter Sauce and 5 Sweet Thai Chili, I didn’t eat all this on my own I did have some help. The Sweet Thai Chili was good, but I wanted it to have some kick to it. Gator’s Scooter Sauce also had great flavor but was also missing that spiciness. So if you don’t like heat with your wings they are perfect. So if you want some good food, polite service, and your sports on the tv. Drop by this Gator’s location.
