Mattress Firm Clermont

I went into Mattress Firm on Black Friday to purchase the memory foam pillows that were on sale. The salesman was very friendly, and tried to sell me on a new mattress. I told him that I would need to think about it because the new mattress would be a MUCH bigger purchase — upwards of $ 2500. When I got home with the pillows and opened the package, I found 2 of the worst quality pillows I’ve ever seen. (The OLD pillows I planned on replacing were more comfortable and seemed to be in better shape.)
I went back to the store where I’d purchased them and asked for a refund. The same salesman who sold them to me was there. He informed me that they could not give me a refund because the pillows had been deeply discounted for Black Friday. He then tried to smooth things over by assuring me that he would hook me up with much better pillows when I came back to buy the mattress.
I told him that there was NO WAY I would trust Mattress Firm with my business. Given the fact that they would not stand behind a small purchase like a pair of pillows, I would not trust them to stand behind a major purchase like a mattress. I told him that Mattress Firm just lost thousands of dollars and any future purchases from me — all for a cheap pair of pillows! Since there was NO MENTION of «No refunds» anywhere on the receipt, I threatened to contact a lawyer and walked out.
A little while later, the salesman called me to say that he was giving me a refund for the pillows… too little too late. I would give Mattress Firm ZERO stars if that was an option.

An having a great mattress-​shopping experience right now. Normally matress stores give off a used-​car-​lot vibe. But… Mike, the store manager, is the nicest mattress guy ever. He handled having several customers simultaneously in the store like a pro and made us all feel welcome.
