Love this place! Food is always ready in 10 – 15 minutes even on my largest orders. Staff is friendly, orders are always correct, and always delicious. This is my #1 to-go takeout spot. I recommend the sesame chicken special combination, beef and broccoli, egg drop soup, and vegetable lo mein. This place is definitely a favorite of mine!

This is honestly a hole in the wall Chinese food restaurant but it’s really good! They do have a small area to eat inside the restaurant but this is mainly for takeout. My office used to be located five minutes away and we would go here three times a week. We’ve since moved 20 minutes away and we are still driving here instead of going to a closer one. We place multiple orders at the same time and they are all ready within 15 minutes. The family that owns this place is great cause we can pay with multiple cards and split orders when we get there. Very accommodating. I always get the lunch special for general tso. It’s under $ 6 and comes with a soda and fried rice. It’s always fresh and while it’s not spicy, it’s real chicken and the sauce is delicious. The pork fried rice is filled with multiple pieces of pork and veggies. They do not skimp on food and I tend to have lunch for the next day too.

Best Chinese in the Four Corners area! Service can be a little short at times(I think they could be a little more in tune with local culture), but the food far and away makes up for it. Highly recommended!

Let me start by saying that I had the worst chinese food experience I have ever had at this place yesterday. I ordered boneless spare ribs and crab ragoon. When I got the food the ribs were NOT boneless and they looked gross, the sauce looked like blood, the meat was tough. I took one little bite and put it down. The crab ragoon tasted like it was made 2 months prior then frozen, then fried in a deep fryer. It was so hard I couldn’t even eat it. The sour cream filling tasted bad. Nothing tasted fresh! I told the lady that was there that I couldn’t eat any of it and wanted a refund, and she refused by saying no refund«we cant take the food back» and did not even apologize! So I asked for a small thing of fried rice because I was hungry, that was a mistake too! The fried rice tasted like the bottom of a dirty frying pan. I threw all of the food out and essentially got ripped off. I will never eat at this place again nor will I eat chinese food again. I wouldn’t even feed my dog that food, I cannot believe they are serving food like that to people! The health department needs to visit this place. STAYAWAYFROMTHISRESTAURANT

It’s your local HOLEINTHEWALL Chinese Restaurant and one of the best in the area(in terms of hole in the walls). The interior is horrid, but who really eats Chinese at a restaurant? It’s family owned and it’s usually the kids who answer the phone and take your order. The lunch specials are a great deal! It use to be $ 5, but I think it’s $ 6 now. You get your entrée, fried rice, egg roll, and a can of soda. Dinner specials are around $ 9, but no soda. The only downside(like most of the Chinese restaurants in the area) is that they use yellow rice for their fried rice. As I’ve said multiple times, it’s your hole in the wall Chinese. I’m not expecting full service dining; I call in my order, pick it up in 10 – 15 minutes, and enjoy it at home. That’s why it gets a 4.

Strip mall takeout restaurant with average food. Service was a bit slow(we ordered ahead but food wasn’t ready on time). We ate orange chicken, veg lo mein, pork egg foo young, sweet & sour chicken, egg rolls. The egg foo young was mediocre with no bean sprouts and very flat pieces instead of pillows, served with thick brown flour gravy. Sweet & sour chicken was from frozen and rather tough, served with a vinegary sauce. Lo Mein was average. Egg rolls were very salty and the fry oil tasted old. They did not honor the coupon for free soup(orders over $ 20) or dumplings(orders over $ 30) listed in their online menu .

It’s your standard strip mall chinese take out joint except the food at this one is hands down better than any of the others in the general area. The food is New York style chinese which means thick noodles and lots of sauce. The portions are pretty big and the prices are decent. There are chinese places closer to my house and I’ve tried them all but I gladly drive the extra 10 minutes to go to this place instead.

POSSIBLECREDITCARDSKIMMINGGOINGONHERE. We have been going to this place for over 10 years, my wife and I love the food. The last time they added a tip to our bill, and possibly SKIMMEDTHECARDAND we had over $ 500 in charges in two days before the bank alerted us. People who do this need to be exposed– do not go here unless you need your bank account drained.

We were craving Chinese food and didn’t want any of the local buffets. This is near where I live so we stopped in to get some takeout. The sign outside said«NY style.» I got the Beef and Broccoli and an order of the steamed dumplings. I was satisfied with my meal. It was what I was expecting. Nothing like what you may get in a Chinatown area, but delicious for your local Chinese restaurant. I’ll visit again, but if I have the chance, I’d rather go up to Colonialtown for my Asian meals.

3.5 stars Fellow Unilocalers,
Your typical Chinese food take out. This one is more of a New York style, very friendly family owned place with a small seating area if you would like to sit down. They have a really cheap lunch special during the week with many combinations to order from. All include fried rice, egg roll, and a canned soft drink. Everything I ever had here I enjoyed. The restaurant is mainly take out. It is a bit outdated and can use a bit of a refurbishment. You can see directly back to the kitchen where they are preparing your food. I would recommend this place for a take out Chinese restaurant. The menu definitely has something for everyone.

We really do Love this place. The food is really great here. The Combos are a great deal, lots of food. The Wonton soup is good, egg roles are awesome, we are working our way through the menu and so far everything we have had is wonderful. We recommend this place, hands down. Enjoy!

What you get for the price is good but the food is poor Typical bland Central Florida Chinese Food… still looking for some real Chinese Food here in Orlando… I think it may be next to the Unicorn & Rainbow factory.

Living in this area and sometimes wanting Chinese food… this is the place we go! They are always fast and friendly when you go pick up your food. And if you have to go to Publix to pick up some groceries, stop into Shanghai first and place your order and it’ll be ready when you’re ready! I see all of the bad reviews and can’t say anything like this has ever happened to us and we go once a month or so.

Hm. We have eaten here once before and it was not bad. Mediocre Chinese, the usual. I actually like their sweet and sour soup quite a bit. Neither my husband nor I got sick which happens a lot with Chinese take out. Now that we are here for the second time, I read the review about the horrible roach infestation and was concerned. But the review was from 2009. Wish us luck

Do NOT go to this awful place! If I could give it no stars at all, I most definitely would! We used to order Chinese take-out from here, mediocre in taste, but the only Chinese available in this area until quite recently. Then one day we ordered lunch and brought it home as usual only to find a large FRIEDCOCKROACH, complete with WINGS, in the sweet and sour chicken! When we phoned to complain the owner of the place screamed at us and then after saying we would have to report it to the health department inspectors, she screamed that she didn’t CARE! Only after telling VISA about the incident did we get a charge card refund of our uneaten lunches. We even kept the lunches in our freezer for a time in case the health inspector we phoned needed them for evidence, which he didn’t since his inspection turned up a massive roach infestation. And ever since this outrage took place we have looked up the health inspection reports for each restaurant PRIOR to patronizing them. It is not in the best interests of the public to continue to allow places that repeatedly fail inspections for gross violations to remain open for business. Most of the public has no clue as to how dirty, infested and dangerous restaurant kitchens can be. Now you are forewarned.
