A solid dive bar with good food and good prices services always been excellent. Can pop in with no wait and fast becoming what Gunselmans was! Good selection of food and truly above average at a great price. Family friendly but keep in mind it’s a bar. Good people behind the scenes make it relaxing.

It was our first time there, but instantly felt comfortable and welcomed. It’s a small place and seems to be a hang for the locals. The gal working behind the bar, Jen, was very friendly and upbeat. My boyfriend had one of the specials of the evening — a steak dinner for $ 7.95 and I had the bacon tuna melt. We were both pleased with our dinner, but we LOVED the twice grilled wings. We got the Chipolte BBQ and I think they were probably the best wings I ever had… very saucy and crispy. The cook, Rocco, did an awesome job. We will be back!

Grea food! Bartenders are super friendly and personable. We used to go to Gunselmans but since they changed owners and barntenders all left, we needed a new place. Arts is great! Wings, burgers and pizza are awesome.

Nice neighborhood bar. Staff is very friendly and the food is priced right. They have a nice menu and daily specials. The drinks prices are well below the standard price in this area. I would recommend trying one of the stuffed burgers, they are tasty.

Whole place smells like diarrhea. No craft beers. Bad tv’s. Drinks overpriced for a dive bar. Decent menu. Decent cooks. Dead on weekends. Lots of parking.

I come here on Saturdays while my lil one is a few doors down at Irish dance. The thought of me sitting in a 10×6 space with Old Navy tech vest wearing Yentas make me want to jump off the Lorain-Carneige bridge. I come here for a good beer and chat about Keno with the bartender and great regulars. A little older, working class crowd and I like that. Suprisingly good beer selection. More of a shot and beer type place but I like that they know there is more out there and they have options for the random fancy pants that may walk in. I ear the food is REALLY good and I will try it soon. Driving by this place you wouldn’t think anything, but its really a great little place! Its always low key and they have plenty of tables so I wouldn’t feel weird about bringing my parents of my daughter in for food and drinks. The kid wont be drinking… I will. Only gripe is that the beer lines need cleaned or replaced. There is a diacetyl taste in the draught beer. Now we wouldn’t want the overnight beer experts to have an off flavor in their IPA’s now would we?!

Art’s Pub is a hidden gem! The food is always good, and the waitresses and barmaids are exceptional. The food is definitely not your usual deep-fried bar food. They have 4 or 5 daily specials… always a hard choice to make when it comes time to order. The soups are all homemade and wonderful. I love their Friday Fish and Pierogi dinners during Lent. You can choose how you want your fish… battered, pan-fried or broiled. Their drinks and menu are affordably priced, too. I’ve been going there at least once every few weeks since they opened as Art’s Pub and will continue to go back. Love the place! Enjoy!!!

Around the west side of Cleveland, trying to find a locally owned, casual but decent restaurant right in your neighbourhood is difficult(er, make that impossible). But now that Ohio’s non-smoking laws have been in effect for a few years, casual diners have turned to bars and pubs for local dining. True, these beer joints are about the ONLY choice! But at least some are pretty darn OK. If you can stay in your lane(virtually unmarked) and you’re comfortable steering through a slalom course(Fairview’s Lorain Road) without hitting any parked cars, bicyclists or pedestrians check out Arts Pub. Although the burgers, spaghetti and meat loaf are pretty darn good, the menu is much broader than the usual pub fare and the results are surprising. Arts features a tempting special every night(maybe a steak or prime rib or a seafood pasta) usually under $ 10. Salad greens are fresh and included with most entrees… and the weekday crowd is usually small and rather quiet. Factor in some homemade soups and attentive food servers and you have a darn pleasant dining experience. Plus your meal money stays local. Next time I stop at Arts Pub I’ll head outside where each table has a front-row seat on the Lorain Slalom. From here, patrons can sip a brew and dine while watching Fairview cops ticket drivers who are unaware of the mastery required to steer through the course.
