Aubrey’s Cleveland

I went in to aubrey’s hoping for a step up from fast food but a step down from a fancy 40-​minute-​wait dinner. Our waitress was adequate; not the nicest but also not rude. I waited a little longer than I had hoped for, but the food eventually came out and the portions fit the seemingly high price I payed for the food. My lemon lime chicken was over flavorful– I was taking sips of water in between each bite to calm it down a bit. My side of a baked potato was loaded well, with plenty of bacon, sour cream, cheese, and chives; just the way it should be. I would recommend it for lunch to someone who is very hungry and also has a bit of time on their hands.

This time a solid 4+ stars. We stopped at Aubrey’s for dinner. I ordered the 4 veggie side plate, which for me was the Tomato Bisque, Brocolli, sauteed mushrooms, and steak fries. Wife ordered the soup and salad.
Service is spot on. Promptly seated.
Love their beer selection.
Just wish they had more vegetarian options on the menu… maybe some day. :)

I just adore Aubreys! It has an atmosphere of a
high end restaurant, yet a small town feel. Smaller menu but they specialize in most of their dishes! The servers are genuinely happy to serve you as well as the hostesses.
The bar area is wonderful in warmer weather, with the open-​aired doors to the outside!
Tonight I enjoyed the Rattlesnake pasta… Fresh ingredients and enough to have a take home, for lunch the next day!

The food was terrible as was the service. Soggy bland fish and chips, and chicken tenders that had nothing «Buffalo» about them served with nasty sauces. The food presentation was non existent. You got pricey «stuff on a plate.»

My wife and I come here often. I like the atmosphere, the staff is friendly, and the fact that they have Guinness on tap doesn’t hurt.
The menu is not expansive when it comes to plant-​based options, but they are very willing to work with you and I’ve never come away disappointed. The new kale salad with peanuts is great.
Great place to watch a game, socialize, and relax.

Excellent food, classy atmosphere, and super friendly service! Can be pricey, but worth every penny!

Patty melt was good. Beer was cold an plentiful. Sweet tator fries were awesome. Overall a good value.

Great food! It’s always been good. Unfortunately service is starting to slip. Each time I go in now there seems to be problems with service in the dining room. Mixing up orders, not being attentive to drink orders, etc…
Last time my family and I had ordered our meals with salads and soups. Typically those would come out first (after bread is brought out… which we never got). Instead 40 mins later all the meals and salads/​soups came out at the same time. Was a long time to wait and we had to keep flagging down the waitress for drinks. I can understand if the restaurant was busy but it wasn’t by any means and there was plenty of staff hanging around.
Pretty disappointed recently. I’ll give it a 3 star because I like the food and when you’re in the bar area it’s great service. The other 2 stars would have been there if it weren’t for the poor service lately in the dining room. Hopefully it turns around.

I had the Pizza Rockefeller and a salad for lunch. More than enough food and it tasted great! The Pizza Rockefeller has Aubry’s Spinach Queso as the base.

So glad I found this place! Was on the road and got stuck in Cleveland, TN. Stayed at a local hotel and when I asked the receptionist where I could find a place that wasn’t a chain and had a selection of local microbrews, Aubrey’s was the first thing out of her mouth! Tap selection was amazing, as was the salmon tacos I got, and the atmosphere was perfect. This would be my hangout if I lived here!

Good food. Fast polite service. Sweet potato fries are great. Patty melt was great as well as the prime rib. 40 beers on tap. Would come again if we are in the area.

I have been here a few times in hopes that it will get better, but it has only gotten worse. My last experience was in the cocktail area with several friends. I waited for 20 minutes on a non-​busy evening for someone to approach me for a drink order ONLY AFTER I sat my ID down and began to search around the room for staff. After I received my first drink I never saw my server again even though I continued to look at the menu. Approximately 30 minutes went by when finally she came back and asked if we wanted any food. At this point we have not had her get us anymore drinks and have been waiting to order food for way too long. We decided to leave to take our business elsewhere.
THE FOOD: Every time I have been here the food is sub-​par. The filet bites are a poor quality filet and they barely give you your money’s worth. Everything else I have tried has been the same low quality.
THE DRINKS: The bartenders in my experience have not been very knowledgeable on mixed drinks. They do have an excellent array of beer on tap which is awesome, but if you’re in the mood for cocktails I wouldn’t recommend getting one here.
THE STAFF: So the staff is my biggest issue here. Honestly I could have given this place 3 stars if it wasn’t for the staff. This isn’t just a single episode of a bad experience either. EVERY TIME I have dined here I have been met by poorly trained staff that honestly seem angry that you are there trying to give them money. The wait time to first be greeted has never been immediate and the check back times (even on slow nights) are pretty much nonexistent. None of the servers have been very knowledgeable about the menu. My biggest problem with the staff is that they all give off this air of «I just want tips, but do not want to provide any customer service. «
OVERALL: Food isn’t anything spectacular to talk about and the staff really push it over the edge for a bad dining experience.

Aubrey’s is a solid three. Mainly, for the inconsistency. First time I came here (and the second time) I was not impressed. I ordered seafood Alfredo and the entire entrée, both pasta and seafood, was literally bland mush. They did let me replace it with and orientalist salad that was pretty tasty, but I was bummed about my pasta.
The next time I went, I really enjoyed my grilled chicken, but my fiancée sent back his filet twice. The first time it was way overdone and the second time it didn’t even look cooked. He loves steak, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen him leave a restaurant looking so disappointed.
The third time, we both got the patty melt, which was honestly amazing. It was the BEST patty melt I’ve ever had, and the service was great.
I was again disappointed when they removed their tomato basil from the menu and replaced it with a very bland red pepper basil. There’s no comparison to the previous dish and it wasn’t a good trade out.
The service is usually good, I will say that! Occasionally we’ll get a server that slacks a bit on refills, but everyone’s very friendly.
I would honestly recommend Aubrey’s lunch menu over their dinner menu.
Experience is either a hit or miss. Sometimes you leave satisfied, sometimes you leave disappointed, there’s not a lot of grey area. However, I do think the good experiences are worth the gamble.

I went with friends for drinks and had a great time. Our server was very nice and was knowledgeable about all of the many kinds of beer on tap. Cheap beer is always a plus.

I ordered the chicken fingers which was a huge serving. I should have guessed because it was $ 14! It tasted okay. I asked for some bread because I saw on here that it was delicious. The bread was so stale, I’m sure it was left over from the night before and sat out all night. The honey butter tasted sour. My husband ordered chili and loved it. I will give it another shot and just order something else. I’m hoping this was just an off day for them. The atmosphere was inviting. I would take my family there when they come in to town. The service was good.

Great food for a great price. The buttermilk fried chicken was almost as big as my plate, and so delicious! «Steak on a stick» was really good too. It’s just 4 steak medallions on a kabob, but it had amazing seasoning and was cooked perfectly. Watch out for really good drink specials!

This was my go to lunch spot while working in Cleveland — Staff was always friendly and fast — food was good and priced fairly — had a few drinks for dinner one night and they were good. This place is always packed for lunch and dinner so that’s a good sign. the lunch specials are always good, this chili is good, and the little flatbread pizzas are pretty good as well.

Mediocre, at best. The items on the menu make it seem like this place is fancier than it really is. I had a burger, which was over cooked and dry. The fries were overly salty. My husband got pulled pork, which was served on a soggy slice of Texas toast. It wasn’t the worst food I have had, but it wasn’t good enough that I would ever eat here again. Don’t waste your money.

Time for an update to one of my top 5 places to visit and catch a game. Great service in the bar. The same great food, bartenders whether your here for lunch or dinner.
Great beer selection and TVs are great. Outside area for smokers but they even keep that to one side so non smokers can enjoy outside on warmer days. If you have never visited an Aubrey’s you are missing out.

Friday night out. I started out to go to Jenkins but they are closed for they are relocating over the weekend. Anyway, service the best from Michelle at the bar. She seam real nice and took care of me. I didn’t know what to eat, so she recommended salmon tacos and sweet potato fries and I was happy with that.
