I visited for a class here while up in Cleveland visiting. A friend from our local dojo had recommended I stop by next time I was up in the area. Very friendly aikidoka(students) here, as well as instructors. Kind of odd to have a big pole in the middle of the mat(structurally there for the building) but it was easy to work around. The mat itself is quite comfortable for rolling and falling. The building is maintained well, and there was cleaning prior to the 11am saturday class.(I attended the 10am class). Parking was plentiful in the back. They also host brazilian jiu-jutsu and children’s aikido here. Thing’s I’d like to see here: –dehumidifier, I’m not sure if there’s A/C at all, but it has that«musty dojo» smell. –floor sign designating area where shoes are and are not permitted. –more bottles of hand sanitizer around(just being picky here, but aikido has a lot of hand to hand contact).
